"Ace Come on! We need to get to the party! It's like in the middle of the forest!"

Epel called from outside.

"Yes! It would be most distasteful to ignore Malleus's Invitation!"

"I'm Coming, I'm coming! But are you sure this is a good Idea?"

"Oh? You're scared? Did Cater Senpai's Stories Scare you that much you big baby!"

"Shut it Deuce! It's super suspicious that it's in the middle of a forest!"

"Come on, Ortho already told us it's because it's for the cool kids! We're finally getting accepted into their cliques!" Yuu cheered.

"I- Fine, I'll be right out. I...Just need to grab something."

Jack nodded. Ace gulped as he finished tying his bangs back. He wasn't invited to the party, the others were. Yes he got along with their upperclassmen but he never spoke to any of them in depth. Just a Hello or Hi here or there. Cater and Trey seemed nice enough but something about them freaked him out. He only ever talked to that one antisocial upperclassman, Riddle. He only got to come to this party because His friends asked and Cater seemed happy at the idea.

However, this meant that unlike Deuce, Epel, Yuu, Sebek, and Jack he had no costume to match with anyone. Deuce Matched with Cater and Trey, Epel matched with Vil and Rook, Yuu matched with Grim; a fellow first year, Sebek matched with Silver, Lilia, and Malleus, and Jack matched with Leona and Ruggie. Ace was dressed up as a SUITOR! ALICE! From the game Phantom Bride:Love at First Fright! It was a spin off of the game Warped Underland. Alice was the bestfriend of the main character and normally overlooked. However, He was Ace's favorite and it wasn't just because he looked like ALICE.

Ace got out of his thoughts and stood up from his bed before walking to his dresser. On top of it was a charm from Rollo Flamm. The dude was....Weird.... But he was an expert in the supernatural, much like Ace's older brother, and gave Ace a warding charm. It was odd timing as well, Epel had been talking about how they got Ace an invite and Rollo was in the room. Once the group had left Rollo handed Ace the charm. He remembered Rollo's words well.

" If you go to that party, be ready to run and carry this with you."

Then the Older boy left. Ace put the item in the pocket of his suit before snatching his WARPED travel console from its charger. He likely would just stay off to the side. He placed it into the large inside pocket of his suit. He also grabbed his phone, Just in case something happened he would need to call his Brother, Blackjack was on a job with Rollo.He opened his room door to see Everyone.

"Finally you're done. Let's go. "

Sebek started marching to the front door. The rest followed, Ace behind them. It was dark as he stepped outside. The moon glowed as Sebek pulled out his phone and switched on the flashlight. He Pulled up the map on his phone and started leading. The cracked sidewalks changed to dirt as they entered the forest. Owls hooted from the branches as they walked soon they heard music and saw light, they sped up as they entered the clearing. All the upperclassmen and Grim were there living it up. Sebek shut off his flashlight and went to talk with Malleus. The others also broke off. As He planned he stood near the exit and pulled out his WARPED travel console (It was so elegantly named.) and started up Phantom Bride: Love at First Fright!

He had started replaying it a week ago, he was now at the part where RHYME, APPLE, KNIGHT, and ALICE were making their way to the wedding to save HADEIN. A Battle sequence started for APPLE. Ace handled it quickly due to experience and soon he was onto the stopping the wedding part. The Ghost Bride was going on a rant before the screen glitched.

L O O K U P

Ace looked up at the party, Epel, Jack, Yuu, Deuce, and Sebek were given a drink.

"DRINK! DRINK! DRINK!"

Cater, Kalim, Floyd, and Lilia chanted. The 5 laughed and drank the concoction. Ace watched as they dropped their cups clutching their heads before they started screaming in pain. Ace watched as they changed.

Deuce's Bones Cracked and his skin melted off as all that was left before Ace's Eyes was a skeleton with glowing eyes and Blue hair.

Next was Jack, The Color drained from his skin as areas flayed off and shadows appeared under his eyes.

Yuu followed. Their eyes flickered many colors as whisps gathered around them and they sprouted flaming ears and a tail.

Then It was Sebek, His nails sharpened as a tail grew and horns sprouted blood spurted.

Epel was last, Ace watched in horror as his teeth fell out and grew back sharper, His ears slightly pointed and one eye a brilliant red.

His friends calmed down and Ace whisperd.

"W-what's going on?"

"Ah! Ace! I Almost forgot about you! Here's your drink!" Cater started running up.

"ALICE RUN!"

Ace looked down and saw the Ghost Bride on his screen. He shook but nodded and turned tail he started to run.

"SEIZE HIM!"

Malleus hollered.

"The Hell is going on!?"

" You can ask your brother and Rollo that later! For now continue straight!"

Ace nodded shakily listening to the Ghost Bride

"Yes, Princess!"

Ace kicked up his speed as he heard Horses galloping behind him and the flap of wings.

"LEFT GO LEFT!"

Ace turned left and a spell was fired at him he tensed while running bracing for impact but nothing happened. His pocket felt hot however. He reached his hand and it was the charm!

"THANK YOU ROLLO!"

"RIGHT!"

"LEFT"

"STRAIGHT"

"RIGHT"

Ace followed Flawlessly as he ran near a river bank. He heard cracking.

He looked down. The ground was crumbling below him. It gave way and he went tumbling down the hill into the rocky river.

"FUCK!"

"ACE! DON"T WORRY I'LL SAVE YOU!"

He opened his squeezed shut eyes. He was in a Cafeteria decorated as a wedding hall.

"Alice you're alright!"

He looked up at the ghost woman.

"P-princess? Where am I?"

"Your in Phantom Bride: Love at First Fright! I- I apologize but you're stuck here until your brother or Rollo find your WARPED Console, But believe me being a Video game ghost is much better than being forcibly turned. It messes with the mind making you loyal."

"GHOST!?"

Ace shot up and ran to the nearest reflective surface, it was a window. He looked at himself, His eyes had little pixel hearts as pupils and he had hair that was so bright it looked like candy.

"W-what happened to me!?"

"You died. On that fall you fell into the river and were washed into a rock head first. I brought your body and Soul here. In a way your dead but alive. The same thing that happens to your friends."

"S-so I'm stuck here?"

"For now, Yes. Fear not! I'll teach you the ropes!"

"I- Ok, That's fine. I'll be totally alright."

Four Days Later in The Living realm

Riddle yawned as he walked past the river. He had to go back to the forest, where they were having a meeting concerning the New members of their undead group. Riddle couldn't help but worry for Ace however. He hadn't been at school for 4 days. Everyone was so jumpy when Riddle brought him up as well. He in all honestly missed the rule breaker. As he walked he saw a red item on the river bank. He walked over and picked it up. It was a WARPED CONSOLE.On it Ace Trappola was written. Riddle debated for a minute but proceeded to walk to the Trappola household. He knocked on the door and Ace's brother opened.

"Hello?"

"Your Blackjack Trappola Yes? This is your brother's I believe, I found it at the river bank."

He handed over the item.

"O-oh? Thank you..."

"How is Ace, He hasn't been at school."

"He's a bit under the weather but fine."

"Oh, well then I wish him a quick recovery, I must be going now."

Riddle left and Black closed the door.

Black walked to the Living room where Rollo sat.

"Release."

Black said as he tossed the Console to the couch. It glowed and Ace appeared.

"So you died."

Rollo coughed. He was having a particularly bad day.

"Yes..."

"Now was it one of the Monsters of the NRC faction?"

"Kinda....I was running from them and the ground broke. I fell into the river....The Princess put my soul and body into my game..."

"Oh Dear.... They really need to stop adding to their faction, Damn Monsters."

"My friends got turned..."

"Ace....Come here."

Black Held Ace, he was corporeal but cold, Rollo joined. You have three days before you need to go to school, I told them you wee sick and would be back on tuesday."

"Ok.."

AT SCHOOL

They all stood in the school cafeteria recounting the events of Halloween to Riddle. Riddle looked Pissed.

"Idiots! The lot of you! You tried to change him forcibly and chaced him off to god knows where! Probably in the River somewhere!"

"The River?" Cater asked.

"Yes! I found His Warped Travel Console on the bank."

"Y-you don't think he's dead do you?"

"I don't know his brother already li-"

"Is that Ace?" Yuu asked.

They turned to see a boy with Candy like Hair enter the Cafeteria. Almost normal Red eyes looked around the room.

"Ace?"

Riddle asked.

""Oh! Riddle senpai! Thank you for returning my Console! I Don't know how I would live without it!"

They couldn't help but wonder what Happened to Ace as the boy walked away.
