Silver walked into the throne room where Malifica, Malleus, Sebek, and Lilia waited.

"Good afternoon Queen Malifica, Prince Malleus, Father, Sebek."

"Ah, Good afternoon Silver. Mallus, Vanrouge, Zigvolt, your dismissed."

"Yes My lady"

Lilia and Sebek left.

"Yes, Grandmother."

Malleus left and the doors slammed shut.

"Silver."

"Yes, my lady?"

"I have a mission. Its of the most importance."

"What is it?"

"The guards are wary of you and your heritage, To gain their approval they demanded that you handle the infestation of wolves in the Castle forest."

"I can handle that."

"Good, Do be safe, Lilia would start a war should you get hurt."

"I will. I must pack for tonight then."

"Yes, you must."

"I bid farewell My Queen. May you prosper."

"You as well, Child of Man."

Silver exited the throne room and walked off to his room in the castle. He stayed in the Cottage mainly but did have one on castle grounds. He pulled out his light bag, he placed a few snacks that wouldn't attract wildlife in, Some Instant Coffee, Water, a small pot, a Hunting Knife, bandages, Antiseptic, and a flare gun. It would signal the Queen of something were amis. He walked to his closet and changed before grabbing a book and sitting down to read a book. He had time to waste. The light from his window shifted as the sun set, Meals were brought and soon it was time to go. Silver double checked his gear and left his room, locking it. He crept to the doors to the training grounds that backed up to the forest, a flimsy fence separating them. He opened the gate and stepped into the forest.

It was dark, concentrating magic into his palm he created a ball of light that flew beside him, he pulled up his hood. His feet hit the dirt bath giving off dull thumps. He scanned the area hand at his sword. He would first try and convince the wolves to leave but if necessary, he would kill them. He got deeper into the forest and saw a person standing there.

"Hello?"

"Ah, Human, you did come, I was hoping you would."

"Who are you? Why are you here?"

"Who I am isn't important as for why I'm here, well... You are a human and the closest to Lord Malleus...It simply is unnatural and I need to correct it so, that means your death."

"My death? Ho-"

Growling was heard from right beside him. Silver turned, There was a Hall Hound pack. It wasn't a wolf in the woods, it was hell hounds.. They were a beast you should never take on alone. Silver turned tail and ran. The Hounds were on his tail. He skidded around trees, dirt kicking up as he raced for the gate. Just as it was insight the hounds pounced and started to bite and claw.

"AGH!"

They tore off his bag as Silver tried to crawl away. Silver protected his face. His eyes fluttered around as it saw the flare gun hanging from his bag. He uncovered his face and shot the gun off. At the sight of an opening the Hounds attacked his face. His eyes squeezed shut and he passed out in pain.

He came too after what felt moments.

"Am I in the Infirmary?"

Silver sat up and looked around.

"Good you're up."

Silver turned it was Malifica

"Queen Malifica? Why am I here?"

"Do you seriously not remember?"

Silver shook his head. Malifica sighed.

"You were mauled by wolves in the woods, Dose that jog your memory"

It in fact did.

"It wasn't Wolves."

The woman looked shocked.

"It wasn't?"

"No, it was Hell Hounds, Someone's Familiars.they were trying to kill me."

Malifica clicked her tongue.

"Of course I was him... Now onto your condition. Your body has been healed but your face....It's permanently scarred. Here."

She soumand him to a mirror. Silver looked at himself and screeched.

"M-my face!"

It had a large scar taking up half of it, It looked like Vines with how it spread.

"Yes, I fear that it will not disappear. If you so wish I have a mask for you to wear. Think of it as a gift"

"Dose my father know of this."

"No, he doesn't, I know you would wish to tell him yourself"

Silver let out a breath.

"I'll take the mask."

"Very well, here is your mask."

She handed it over and Silver looked at it. It was of a woman, she looked very sad. It was oddly beautiful. Silver slipped it on.

"You look dashing. Noe come on lets get you to your room."

Silver nodded and she helped him up walking him back to his room. He fell into his bed once the queen left and he fell asleep.

The next day he was in the common area filling out his report when Sebek, Lilia, and Malleus came in.

"Silver, how did your mission go?"

"It could have been better."

Silver didn't look up from his papers.

'We got you some Risotto, You must be famished."

Malleus said. Silver finally looked up his masked face on display.

"S-silver? What's with the mask?"

Sebek asked. The mask terrified him.

"Thank you for the food."

Silver took it from Lilia and slightly lifted up his mask before eating.

The Risotto was amazing, It was Lilia's only (Edible) Specialty."
