long chapter, sorry :x

*Luke's P.O.V*
One hand on the steering wheel, the other holding Laurel's. This is how we pull out of my parents' garage and head to our first spot: the Opera House.

I glance at Laurel as I drive; she's looking at everything like a baby discovering the world. The admiration on her eyes makes me relax, I was feeling quite nervous with the hole thing.

"Sydney is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to." She tells me, looking through the window.

"I'm glad you like it." I smirk. "I miss, you know, calling it home."

I park the car and walk with her to get the ferry. We board and when it starts moving, Laurel leans on the bars to take a look. The wind is blowing on her hair, she's got a smile on her face, she's beautiful. I silently take a photo of her like that.

It's going to be my wallpaper soon.

I lean by her side and hold her tight against me. Getting near the Opera House Laurel hands her phone to a lady walking her dog.

"Can you take a picture of us, please?" She smiles at the lady, who agrees.

Laurel pulls my shirt, dragging me to a specific spot in front of the Opera House.

"Smile!" She nudges me, resting her head on my chest. I hold her waist and smile at the lady. When it's done Laurel runs towards her, checking the photo.

"Ugh, I look terrible." She rolls her eyes. "Well, nothing some effects won't take care of. Thank you, ma'am."

The woman smiles at us.

"You are one cute couple." She compliments. I look at Laurel and she's already looking at me, embarrassed. We simply smile and thank her, not sure of what else to do.

We walk side by side to the Opera House. I'm able to get inside with my special pass, and when we do, Laurel looks up and spins around, catching sight of everything.

"Wow." That's all she can say. I laugh at her and grab her waist.

"I've performed here before." I shrug. She raises an eyebrow at me and I laugh. "Come here, silly." I raise my phone to take a selfie. Laurel is smiling and I'm kissing her cheek. After that she turns to me and kisses my lips. And I take the photo.

"Send me these." She winks at me, and a foolish smile crosses my face.

Laurel and I walk across the place. She gets her phone and start recording.

"Day 1 in Sydney, take 1" She puts her phone on my face and I move my arm to cover it. "This is shy Luke, or as mr. Hemmings called him, Lewi."

"You thought you were the only one whose father made a nickname to?" I joke and she giggles.

"I'm at Sydney Opera House and it's so beautiful I might die. Luke is the tour guide." She points the camera at me.

I walk ahead of her and point at things as I talk. She stays behind, recording everything. I find a way to sneak in so we can get to the stage. Laurel stands in the middle of it, petrified.

"This is big. Really big. I can only imagine how nervous you might get when you are in a stage like this, with so many people watching you."

Out of the Opera House a few fans stop by. I'm more than happy to talk to them.

At a certain moment in my career, I felt tired about it. But nowadays I'm feeling happy with going out and having people come to me because of my work, and I can't stop wondering if Laurel has something to do with the change, since it started happening when I met her.

However, the most incredible thing happens next.

Laurel asks to one of the fans if she wants her to take the photo, like she did that time in LA. Nevertheless, the girl simply smiles at her and shakes her head.

"I want you to be in the photo, too."

Laurel looks surprised at me and I crack the biggest smile.

"O-okay." She smiles at the girl.

The fan, which then I find out to be named Twyla, asks a couple to take the photo. We all smile.

I talk to the fans for a moment, while Laurel takes a few landscape shots. I'm staring at her when Twyla gets my attention again.

"I ship you two." She hugs me tight, and I hug her back. Oh, how tight I hug her!

Having the fans to approve a relationship helps a lot, more than I thought. And even though Laurel and I are not exactly a couple, it makes me really happy that this important part of me seems to like her as well.

We leave, heading to Harbour Bridge. Laurel takes some spontaneous photos of me and selfies. I grab her hand and smile.

"We're also climbing it."

Her eyes widen and her smile fades away.

"What?" She gasps.

"Relax, I'll catch you if you fall." I smirk, taking her with me.

We dress the special clothes and wait with the rest of the group for the climbing to begin.

"Do I look sassy?" Laurel strikes a ridiculous pose in the blue suit.

"Sassy?" I raise my eyebrows, laughing.

"That word reminds me of Megan." She giggles, tugging her hair behind her ear.

When we start climbing Laurel asks me to go first. I smile and nod.

"Don't worry, I'm here." I tell her.

We slowly climb it and I look down every once in a while to see how Laurel is doing. She's afraid of heights, she told me so once, but apparently everything is under control.

"You're Luke Skywalker... literally, if you know what I mean" She jokes and I can't help rolling my eyes.

"And I thought I was the one with the worst jokes" I laugh.

I get to the top and pull her up, holding her waist. Now our faces are inches from each other. Laurel's hazel eyes are gazing straight into mine, and even though it's pretty windy up here, I doubt that's the reason why I'm shivering.

She then gets on her tiptoes and hesitantly connects our lips. I close my eyes and just allow myself to feel everything. The more I kiss her the more right it seems to be, and at the moment I could care less about kissing her in public.

She pulls away with a shy smile.

"Too bad I don't have my phone right now. The view is... unbelievable." She sighs. I smile at her and run my fingers through her hair.

"It surely is." I wink.

We get down and change our clothes. I look at the screen of my phone to check the time; it's 3pm already.

"There's one more stop on today's tour, and then we're driving back home to have dinner." I tell her as we go to The Rocks.

"This is the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life!" Laurel squeaks as we're standing in the middle of a street. We take some photos and then I take her to see the markets. She gets thrilled, recording everything. She even buys a few things.

It starts getting dark and we head back to the car. Laurel seems exhausted, but more than satisfied.

"Today was the best day ever!" She chuckles, squeezing my hand. "I can't wait to go wherever else you're planing!"

"Is there anywhere you'd like to go?" I ask her as I drive back to my parents'.

"Well..." She begins, combing her hair with her fingers. "There's something, like, I don't know... I've heard McDonald's here are quite different. Oh, and I want to see kangaroos and koalas, obviously!"

I laugh, agreeing. Jesus, she's so adorable!

When we get home I park in the garage and Laurel hops out the car. She follows me as we get inside and find mum and dad sitting on the couch.

"There you are! Dinner is ready, we were waiting for you." Mum and dad smile at us, standing up. We follow them to the dining room. As we eat Laurel talks about everything we did, the smile never leaving her face. So I stop to watch my parents, and they are fascinated by what she says. Actually, I know they are also fascinated by her. Judging by the smile on mum's face and dad's concentrated look, I know they like her.

"And what do you like the most about Sydney so far?" Mum asks her.

"That's hard to say, ma'am. Opera House is wonderful and The Rocks is such a lovely place, but I think I'd have to say the Harbour Bridge." Laurel smiles, glancing at me.

I look down my plate, smirking.

We finish eating and mum starts taking everything to the kitchen.

"Mrs. Hemmings, do you need any help?" Laurel asks mum, gathering my plate and hers and walking to the kitchen.

"It's fine, dear. You and Luke could use some rest. I'm just putting everything on the dishwasher and going to sleep. But please, call me Liz." I hear mum saying.

So Laurel gets out of the kitchen, saying goodnight to my father.

I kiss them goodnight and follow her upstairs. Laurel is opening her bag and taking a towel, along with her gray dress and, uh, underwear. Red underwear. She catches me staring and I clear my throat, blushing.

"I was thinking about taking a shower." She tells me, chuckling.

"May I join you?" I tease, smirking. She smiles, placing a small peck on my lips.

"Not appropriate, Lukey." She mocks, walking to the bathroom of her room, closing the door. I sigh, scratching my nape and heading to my room. I also decide I'm taking a shower so I get everything I need. Within 10 minutes I'm done. I can't stop thinking about Laurel. Silently I get my head off the room to peek around the hall. My parents have already gone to bed, their door is closed.

I look at Laurel's bedroom door, which is now shut as well. I haven't said goodnight yet so I simply walk towards her door, opening it.

Laurel is holding her gray dress, wearing nothing but her red panties.

And by nothing, I really mean it. She's braless.

I stand by the door watching like an idiot. When she finds out she covers her chest with her dress, scared.

"Luke! What the hell are you doing?"

"I just came here to say goodnight. Apparently I got something else, too." I smirk, stepping inside and closing the door behind me.

"Are you nuts?" She questions, pressing her dress tighter against her skin. I get closer, my eyes locked on hers.

"Come on, Laurel. I've seen you like this before. We've been there already."

She blushes at my words, and before I can reach her she turns around so I can't see her bare chest and puts on the dress. So she turns to face me.

"That's better."

"I liked it more without this stupid dress." I pout, grabbing her by the waist and kissing her gently. Laurel's hands wrap around my neck and she lets out a small moan.

Before I can stop myself, the kiss gets more intense. I grab her ass and she bites my bottom lip, making me groan. I lay her in bed and hover on top of her, kissing her jawline and her neck. I cup her breasts and she bites her own lip to suppress a louder moan. So I try to lift her dress up.

And like white on rice, she stops me.

"We can't, Luke." She tells me, out of breath.

I sigh, standing up.

"Sorry."

"You don't need to apologize." She responds, awkwardly. "I'm talking about your parents, actually. They're just across the hall, we can't do this."

I apologize again and when I'm heading back to my room Laurel stands between me and the door, looking at me with a shy smile.

"But we could sleep together, like we did in LA... what do you say?"

I stare at her for a few moments before smiling.

"Like you even need to ask."
