*Laurel's P.O.V*

It's been two weeks since I talked to the guys about my possible break. They insisted I should visit them in LA and I was truly looking forward to it; couldn't wait to get the chance to see them all again, especially Luke.

And the day finally comes.

Before I board to the city of dreams, I make a promise to myself. Since the day Austin opened up about his feelings for me I've been extremely confused, whether I should stick with Austin and ignore everything I feel for Luke, or go with my gut and dive inside the whole madness that I know it would be if I chose Luke over Austin.

Of course that, while I say this, I'm hoping that Luke would actually want me. But truth be told: it's not like he seems as interested as Austin.

Either way, my promise is: I'm going to enjoy as much as I can while I am with both of them. I'm not Austin's girlfriend, nor Luke's personal hobby, but I am most definitely going to take all the good things I'm able to when I accompany them. During the past two weeks Austin made me realize I will always have someone to trust, and even though I've kept some distance to respect his feelings and mine as well, I've never felt this happy around him. Now it's time to see how being with Luke for a week makes me feel after all I've been through with Austin.

They make the last call for my flight and I shake my head, shooing the thoughts. Within six hours I'm landing at the LAX and waiting for me there's nothing more nothing less than Jeff, the Wardrobe. He's holding a small white board with my name on it and when I come closer one corner of his mouth curves into a tiny smile.

"Good afternoon, miss. I was told to pick you up, not sure if you remember me." He greets as he grabs my suitcase.

"Yes, I do remember you." I smile. "Hi, Jeff. I didn't know you lived here in LA."

"I didn't use to. I was hired by 5 Seconds of Summer when they were in Charlotte. Apparently they were so satisfied with my job that they asked me to be one of their personal bodyguards, and here I am."

"That is so nice! I'm happy for you."

We get to a black car and he sets my suitcase inside the trunk before hopping inside on the driver's seat, and for the first time I get to personally see Los Angeles. What a blessed place, may I add! It's beautiful, lights everywhere, buildings, there's so much traffic but scratch that; the view from inside the car is amazing!

I can't wait for San Francisco.

Jeff drives me to a fancy neighborhood; only the finest houses I've ever seen through the whole place. He turns left twice and then goes straight down the street to finally turn right and park in front of this beautiful house. Its gates are black but the construction is white. On the front there are perfectly pruned trees and the grass is the greenest. I'm not so sure about the rest of the house yet, but for what I can see right now I know it's the fanciest house - oops, mansion - I've ever been to.

"Do you need any help with carrying your luggage?" Jeff asks me when we are already out of the car. When I'm about to answer the gate makes a sound and opens. Luke is walking towards us with a big smile on his face.

"Don't worry, Jeff. I can help her out." He says. "Thanks for picking her up for me."

"My pleasure, mr. Hemmings." Jeff smiles and gets inside the car. When he's gone I glance at Luke and he does the same. So I push forward and jump on him, wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. Luke hesitates at first but then holds me tight.

"I've missed you!" I admit kissing his cheek dozens of times.

"I've missed you too." He replies, putting me back on the ground. I look at him embarrassed at my own excitement but he simply chuckles. "I carry your bag, please make yourself at home."

I nod and follow him through the gates, then the big garden, until the front door. He pushes it open and I step in, mesmerized. It's even more beautiful on the inside.

"Wow" I whistle.

"Like it?" Luke asks me, leaning his arm on my shoulders.

"Are you kidding me? It's incredible Luke, you've got the greatest taste for decoration, and it's so big!"

Luke laughs, dragging my suitcase to the middle of the hallway.

"Actually I had lots of help. My mom dealt with mostly everything about the decoration. I just managed to find the perfect house."

He guides me upstairs to a large and long corridor. As we walks he shows me the rooms.

"Here there's a bathroom. Right here there's my room. There I've got a movie room. In the end there's my music room. There are three guest rooms, you can choose whichever you'd like." He tells me.

He takes me to each one of them and I end up choosing the one that's closer to his room. It's not the biggest one but since I'm on my own, I don't need so much space.

"I like this one." I tell him, grabbing my suitcase and moaning at the effort to place it on the bed. "It's cozy."

He stares at me, smiling fondly. I do the same, not sure about how long, though. Suddenly he shakes his head and clears his throat.

"Please make yourself at home. If you need anything, please don't hesitate and tell me, okay?" He squeezes my arms lightly.

I gaze into his eyes and gently place my hands in each side of his face. Unsure of my actions I go on my tiptoes and slowly connect my lips to his. He shivers and his hands travel from my arms to my lower back, pulling me closer. When the kiss starts to heat up Luke pulls away, out of breath, giggling embarrassed.

"Sorry." I mutter, ashamed, looking down at my feet. Luke grabs my chin and pull it up so I can look at him. When I do, he's smiling down at me, swiftly leaning down to place a peck on my lips.

"Today the boys will come over to see you." He tells me, leaving the room. "Calum lives just across the street, he's showing up soon."

"Oh, where?" I ask, heading towards the window and pulling the curtains aside to look through it. I catch sight of a house just as big as Luke's, its walls made of beige bricks and grey roof. Luke ends up telling me that Calum's place is exactly the one I'm looking at.

I gather my hair together in a bun and start walking around my room. It has its own bathroom, hot tub and all. I'm definitely using it later. Then I observe all the details on the walls, ceiling and floor.

"Laurel, do you want to shower or something?" Luke suddenly shows up at the bathroom door, making me jump in surprise. I turn to face him and he's leaning on the doorframe, shirtless. I need all my self control not to blush right now.

"Actually that would be a good idea." I smile, so Luke vanishes and reappears with a white towel on his hands. "Here, in case you didn't bring yours."

"Thanks."

He leaves closing the room's door and I undress, getting inside the shower. I need to be quick now since the guys are coming, so I finish showering in less than 15 minutes and pick comfy clothes. I end up wearing a grey dress that actually looks like a big shirt, comb my hair, spray my perfume because I can't be without it and open the door.

I hear laughter downstairs. I look from up the corridor and see Calum sitting on Luke's couch, with a beer on his hands. I rush down and walk towards him.

"Hi, Calum." I greet, smiling as he looks over his shoulder. He jumps off the couch and comes to hug me.

"How are you?" He asks, squeezing me.

"I'm great. What about yourself?" I giggle.

"I'm good, thanks. How was the flight?"

I sit on the couch with Calum talking until Luke finally decides to join us. He sits next to me but refuses to let any part of our bodies touch each other's. I wonder why. About half an hour later, Michael arrives with Ashton and a woman, who I find out later to be Ashton's girlfriend.

We all sit together drinking, laughing and eating nachos. At a certain moment Ashton starts talking about KFC, and his three best friends roll their eyes.

"Not again" Luke jokes, hiding his face on my shoulder, and I giggle.

"Stop it, be polite and listen" I playfully grab his nose between my index and middle fingers.

Michael suggests we start playing videogames and they turn on the Xbox to start playing. I ask them to play as well when they switch it to Red Dead Redemption.

"You are actually pretty good at this, miss" Michael says. Luke wraps his arm around my neck and pulls me closer to kiss my cheek.

"I agree." He says against my skin and I shiver.

We stay at Luke's living room until midnight. When Calum, Michael, Ashton and his girlfriend leave, Luke and I are alone again. Even though I know I'm welcome, I can't help but feel like I'm bothering. I stand up and take the nachos bowl to the kitchen. After that I throw the bottles of beer away. I turn on the faucet and start washing the dirty bowl.

"What are you doing?" I hear Luke inquiring behind me.

"Washing the bowl?" I chuckle. Suddenly I feel Luke's hands on my hips, gently pushing me aside.

"You don't have to, there's a dishwasher, see?"

He takes the bowl from my hands, open the dishwasher which is under the counter, and tosses it inside. I roll my eyes and dry my hands on my dress, yawning.

"Tired?" He asks, kissing my forehead.

"A little." I sleeply smile at him.

He grabs my hand and guides me upstairs until we get to my room. I hug him and kiss him quick.

"Goodnight" I smile.

"Goodnight, beautiful. Tomorrow I'm gonna take you to a tour around LA." He bites on his lip ring and winks. I giggle.

"I can't wait."
