To say Jungkook is scared is an understatement. He is terrified. He now wonders if following the gang here was a good idea or not. But then even if he hadn't followed the gang members, Jimin would still be here and Yoongi and Baekhyun would still have followed him. He needs to thinks what he should do fast because these people look really dangerous.

The two men standing behind Yoongi and Baekhyun have their guns pointed at their heads and Jungkook wonders if the safety is turned on or not.

"I asked who the fuck you are and how did you even reach this place?" Lee yells, clearly pissed off as the situation is not in his favor.

"Let's say, your minions didn't exactly do a good job at securing this place." Jungkook smirks.

"I'll show you what my minions can do." Lee says and signals the men behind him yelling, "Catch him too." Three men dash towards Jungkook. When the first man approaches him, Jungkook just punches him hard, making him fall on the ground. The other two charge at him and he bends down to duck and he grabs hold of a man by his knees and makes him fall on the ground. He then places his foot on the man's chest and presses it hard so that he can't get up.

When the last man approaches him, he simply puts two fingers in his eyes making him yell in pain. His eyes then fall on the first guy who is trying to get up. Jungkook looks at the man beneath him and sees a gun tucked in his pants. He quickly bends down to take it but when the man tries to resist, he twists his hand with one hand and uses the other to grab the gun. He then shoots the first man in his foot making him fall down. Yes, Jungkook knows how to use a gun. Belonging to such a rich and renowned family, Jungkook has learned all kinds of skills possible.

"What the fuck are you all doing, catch him." Ahn yells at the top of his lungs but that's when they hear an announcement. "This is the special force. We have surrounded this building and you won't be able to leave Ahn. It's better that you all surrender."

Ahn, Lee and the other two men that came for the deal lose their minds. They start grabbing everything and dash towards the exist, pulling Yoongi, Baekhyun and Jimin along with them while Jungkook still fights the men off that try to come closer to him.

But as soon as they leave the rooftop, they come back. Jungkook and Namjoon wonder what happened but then they see police officers with guns in their hands cornering them.

"Are you all fucking useless? Don't you know what you all are supposed to do?" Lee shouts at his men who attack the police officers. It's like hell broke at that moment. Gun shots and screams are heard everywhere. Jungkook looks in Jimin's direction and sees how scared he is. He dashes towards him but one of the men holding him shoots Jungkook in his knees.

"Don't you dare take a step closer." Jungkook stumbles and falls down on the floor. Pain rushes through his body and he screams, unable to take it.

"Hyung!" Jimin sobbs. Jungkook looks at him and gulps. So now his brother knows too that he is JK.

Another man from the gang approaches Jungkook and before he can even register what's happening, his mask is taken off. Everyone's eyes fall on him and they gasp. They all know who Jeon Jungkook is. The heir of the Jeon Corporation, son of Jeon Sunje, Jeon Jungkook is a well known person. Even though he didn't want it, he is popular.

"Oh, seems like we have a good bait to lure Jeon Sungje here. We can get hold of his son again." Ahn says and signals his men to catch him but a police officer shoots the gangster before they can touch Jungkook.

Jungkook tries to get up but he falls down again. A man approaches him and tries to hold him. When Jungkook resists, the man presses his injured area harshly to make him weak. He closes his eyes in pain and hears Jimin crying out his name.

He takes a deep breath and opens his eyes. He knows he can't be weak right now. He tries to push the man away but soon he sees the man being hit with a brick on the head. The man shouts holding his head and before he can do anything, he is shoved away from Jungkook. The ravenette looks at the person who saved him and he is shocked to see it's Taehyung.

Tears fall down his eyes. "Tae!" Jungkook says in vulnerable voice.

"A-Are you o-okay, K-Kookie. We... we have called the am-ambulance. They'll be h-here any minute. You'll... you'll be okay." Taehyung touches Jungkook's face with his shaking hands.

"I'll be fine, b-baby. It's just my leg. It didn't h-hit me at any crucial place." Jungkook says. Taehyung quickly nods and wraps his hands around the ravenette's waist. He buries his face in his chest.

When Hoseok had called the police, he had come near the building to guide the officers. Taehyung had seen him and he insisted to go there because he was worried for everyone. But when the police officers and Hoseok told him not to go there, he started looking for an opportunity to sneak in.

Hoseok had gone a little far away to call someone and that's when Taehyung slipped inside the building. He was glad that the police didn't see him because they were busy shouting orders at each other.

"Hyung!" A loud screams makes everyone look up and they see Jimin hanging from the rooftop. After all the chaos that is happening, Ahn and Lee decided that it is because of Jimin and they ordered their men to drop him from the building and get rid of him.

"H-Hyung, please s-save me." Jimin cries. His hands shake terribly as he asks his brother for help. He recognized Jungkook's voice early and that's how he realized that JK is actually Jungkook. He was hopeful too that he would be saved but now he is scared. Jungkook's breath is stuck in his throat. Looking at his brother in such a condition, he tries to get up to help him somehow. But he can't because he is shot and it hurts. Taehyung looks at the scene in front of him with horror filled eyes.

Yoongi and Baekhyun cannot move as well because they have guns pointed at their heads. The police is helpless too because the lives of Baekhyun and Yoongi are at risk and Jungkook has been shot already.

"Tae, listen to me. Y-You are the closest to Jimin right now. Just g-go and p-pull him up, okay?" Jungkook says, cupping Taehyung's face and making him look in his eyes.

"B-But-"

"I know you are scared. But you can do it, baby. You can save your best friend and my brother. Just try." Jungkook almost begs and Taehyung nods. He quickly gets up and rushes towards Jimin.

"Take a step further boy and we'll shoot you." A man shouts at him. Taehyung flinches and looks at his surroundings. His eyes widen when he sees what's happening. Yoongi and Baekhyun's lives are in danger as well because all the gang members have to do is pull the trigger. He had not paid much attention earlier because his mind was occupied by his friends and Jungkook but now that he has seen what's going on, he is scared and unable to move.

The memories of six years ago come back to him all at once as he sees the face of two men he definitely remembers he has seen before. Those two men who are shouting orders at the other gang members were the ones that had tortured him. He remembers getting beaten up so much that he would faint. He remembers crying to sleep. He remembers how they would bang his head in the wall or make cuts on his body. He remembers himself lying in a pool of blood and nobody even cared to treat his wounds. They left him hungry and vulnerable.

Tears start welling up in Taehyung's eyes and he suddenly can't breath anymore. His legs shake before he falls down on the ground. His eyes are closed and he is breathing heavily.

He is having a panic attack.

"Taehyung!" Jungkook shouts, knowing what is happening to the younger and as much as he is worried for Taehyung, he is also worried for his brother who is hanging from the rooftop right now.

Taehyung is a sobbing mess. He is sitting like a ball as his body shakes violently. He cannot think about anything other than what happened six years ago. He is falling into darkness.

When Namjoon sees no other option, he hides the camera among the stack of bricks and rushes towards Jimin but as soon he reaches, Jimin's hand slips.

But Namjoon is quick enough to bend down, his body half hanging from the rooftop. He grabs Jimin's hand quickly. Jimin looks at him with teary eyes but Namjoon gives him a confident smile, as if telling him that everything would be fine.

They hear a lot of commotion in the background but none of them pay attention. Jimin doesn't because he can't see as he is still hanging in the air and Namjoon doesn't because if he loses his focus, he might lose Jimin.

The elder's hand shakes. He wonders if he would be able to hold Jimin any longer. His arm might fall off. He tries to pull the younger up but it's too hard.

"L-Leave my hand, h-hyung." Jimin sobs as he feels his own hands can't take his weight anymore. He's been hanging like that for a while now.

"No." Namjoon shouts.

"Please, h-hyung. It... h-hurts a l-lot."

"Jimin-ah, you're going to be fine. Just hang in there a bit longer, okay?" Namjoon's eyes tear up as well.

"I l-love y-you, hyung. You've been a great f-friend to me. And tell J-Jungkook hyung that I love him a l-lot too. I can never forget w-what all he has done for me and m-my mom. Please t-take care of my mom. Tell Yoongi hyung that... I l-loved every moment that I spent with him and tell T-Taehyung that he will always b-be my b-best friend. I love Hobi hyung too and thank A-Ami noona for the amazing food she m-made for me. And... and tell Baekhyun that I... that I forgive him." Jimin says in a broken voice.

"Nothing's gonna happen to you, Chim." Namjoon cries.

"Goodbye, hyung." Jimin smiles at him faintly and then he starts jerking his hand to set himself free.

"JIMIN! NO!" Namjoon shouts, trying to hold the younger in place but he can't do anything anymore. Jimin leaves his hand and Namjoon sees his friend falling off the building while screaming his lungs out.

Oh God! This chapter made me feel so many emotions. I was on a verge of crying. Maybe I shouldn't have listened to 'Your Eyes Tell' while writing this chapter🥺

Since I want things to be normal between Taekook soon, here's another chapter and this is the last one with the gangster drama. I promise.
