"This stupid stakeout is boring as fuck, Jungkook." Namjoon yawns, "Must we do it?"

"Look hyung, if we catch those bastards mugging people, we can bring it in front of the eyes of the public. Who would believe something like this happens near the richest neighborhood of Seoul? If someone gets mugged, I'll record it while you call the police, okay? Then later I'll put it on my YouTube channel." Jungkook says looking hopeful.

"Why do you even do this, Jungkook?" The elder asks him, "I mean your gaming and roast videos are top notch and you are quite popular. Why do you suddenly need to drop a video from time to time that unravels some dark stuff that too sometimes involving those rich and higher ups? You remember the last time when you did it, those goons were trying to trace JK and you had to stop uploading videos for a month."

"Look hyung, as long as I have you, I have nothing to worry about." Jungkook says with satisfaction in his voice, "You're like a computer wizard and its because of you that I'm still safe. Because of you, I know I can upload whatever the fuck I want and expose the bad people without getting exposed myself."

"But if you don't do all this and just focus on your gaming and roast videos, you'd be able to enjoy the fame you have properly. You don't have to hide behind a mask and a stage name. You can also do a face reveal then."

"My thoughts differ from you, hyung. I'm popular and influential. If I show something serious in my videos from time to time rather than just gaming or roasting, the concerned people will notice and maybe the situation would get better. Plus stopping now makes no sense. I have enough enemies already who will come at me once I do a face reveal. They wouldn't care less even if I stopped exposing people." Jungkook says self righteously.

"Oh Jungkook, what am I going to do with you?" Namjoon shakes his head while Jungkook makes a baby face and holds Namjoon's face in his hands before squealing, "Just stay by my side, hyungie. Jungkookie is safe with Joonie hyung and JK trusts you a lot."

"Shut up." Namjoon pushes the younger away as he feels embarrassed while the younger starts laughing.

"Stop acting like a fucking five year old, you idiot." Namjoon glares at the ravenette while the other male pretends to be scared before the both of them burst into laughter.

The duo sits in their car until it gets dark. Its been a while since they came here and they saw nothing. Namjoon even suggested that they should go back but Jungkook is adamant. He is sure that something like this happens around here because one of his fans had emailed him, telling him how he got mugged in this area. If the duo is lucky, they would probably catch the thugs red handed.

Taehyung sighs as he finishes putting some clothes and other stuff in a bag. His parents have instructed him to go to his brother's house because they had to leave for a mission in some other country urgently. Neither he nor his parents know when they would be back so they asked him to go to their elder son's place. Taehyung happily agreed because why would he want to miss an opportunity to spend time with Jin?

Even though he is excited to go to Jin's place, he doesn't know how to reach there. He tried contacting Jin but he didn't answer. Maybe he is busy with shooting and stuff. So Taehyung decides to go there by himself.

I'm nineteen years old already. I can do this. Its not a big deal anyway. I just have to reach his house.

With that thought in mind, Taehyung exits his house and takes a cab to the subway station. When he reaches the subway station, he takes a train to Hannam-dong, it's one of the richest neighborhoods in Seoul. Most of the popular celebrities live there. He wonders if JK also lives there. After all he is a big fan of him. With that thought, he opens YouTube on his phone and watches the latest video uploaded by his favorite Youtuber.

The train stops at several stations and finally Taehyung reaches his destination.

Jungkook opens his eyes when he feels been shaken violently. "Jungkook, wake up!" He hears Namjoon shouting. He slowly looks towards the older who has a furious expression on his face.

"What the heck, hyung. Can't you be more gentle?"

"As if you deserve it." Namjoon glares at him before shoving the camera in the younger's hand, "You brought me to do this stupid stake out and then you fall asleep? Just look outside the fucking window. Our target is right in front of us."

Jungkook looks outside and sees two men standing a few meters away from his car with their backs facing him. He can also see one of the men holding a small boy up by his collar but since they are a bit far away, Jungkook can't see their faces clearly.

He gets out of the car and walks a little closer to the scene. He focuses his camera towards the men while Namjoon stands by his side watching the drama with a pair of binoculars. "Jungkook! Do you see that?" Namjoon says with an audible gasp.

"I'm still fixing this camera, hyung." The ravenette mutters annoyingly. He quickly positions his camera in such a way that everything is clearly visible and recorded.

"Yah! Why don't you have any money with you, you little piece of shit?" One of the men roars.

"I think he's lying. " The other man says.

"Let's teach him a lesson." The man holding the boy by the collar punches him.

"Hyung, call the police. I'm starting the recording." Jungkook says and Namjoon nods before walking away to do as told by the younger.

"Won't you give us your watch?" The goons snatch away the watch the boy is wearing harshly and push him away. As the boy falls down on the floor, the men start kicking him.

"P-Please... I-I don't h-have any money. I j-just have some for t-the b-bus. Take i-it away i-if you w-want." The boy cries desperately while getting beaten. It is really difficult for Jungkook to just stand there and watch the horrible scene. He can't look at the scene anymore. He feels as if he is a terrible human being for not doing anything.

I think I should have gone instead of waiting for some random boy to get beaten like that.

But then would that change anything? It would only risk Jungkook's identity. He does not want a lot of people to know him. He doesn't want people to know Jeon Jungkook. He wants people to know JK, a faceless Youtuber who makes a lot of gaming and roast videos along with videos that expose the things not many people know about.

"I called the police." Namjoon comes back. He looks at the younger male who looks at the scene with eyes full of pity.

"Jungkook-" Namjoon is about to say something but stops when he sees the ravenette turning the camera off.

"I can't just stand here and watch, hyung." He says as he shoves the camera in Namjoon's hands before running towards the goons.

Namjoon's eyes widen. He quickly runs behind his friend. Jungkook reaches the scene and harshly pulls one of the men away.

"Hey you shithead!" Jungkook yells, "Why the fuck are you fighting a person who is weak. You can't go around flaunting your stupid masculinity just because you beat someone who is weaker than you."

"You know you just invited yourself to your own funeral, kid." The other man says.

"Let's see whose funeral it is then, shall we?" Jungkook mocks the men clearly making them angrier than they already are.

"Do you want to take his place?" One of the men says. Jungkook tilts his head, "I don't know. It seems like you both definitely want to take his place."

"Well, this kid on the floor really seems useless." Says a goon, "This guy pretending to be all strong and mighty looks wealthy though."

"And you both look like some load of garbage." Jungkook provokes them further.

"Shut up!" Both the men yell together.

"Pants down, you bastards." It's Namjoon's turn to mock them as he helps the injured boy get back on his feet.

The men have had enough. One of them moves forward trying to hold Namjoon so that he can't help the other boy but the ravenette pulls him by his jacket and kicks him hard making the man fall down on the ground.

Where am I supposed to go?

Taehyung thinks to himself as he sits on a bench at the subway station. He doesn't know where his brother lives. He couldn't get hold of Jin yet. He tries to call his parents and his brother again and again but none of them answer his calls. Are they really so busy?

He sighs and decides to walk around for a while. He doesn't have a choice. He even tried searching the location where Jin lives on the internet but such information is not available on Google. It just said that the actor lives somewhere in Hannam-dong, which is something Taehyung already knows. He wishes that he knew one of Jin's friends.

He walks on the street carrying his bag on his shoulder. Does he look like a homeless person right now? He keeps walking thinking about his life, college and his new friend, Jimin. A smile makes its way when he thinks about the life he is living right now. He is not totally fine. But there seems to be hope for him now.

Lost in his thoughts, Taehyung doesn't realize where he is walking. He comes back to reality when he hears someone yelling and some people crying as if they are in pain. His heart beat fastens. He is scared. The alley is dark. Are there some kind of thugs here? Is this the part where he gets kidnapped?

Although he is quite scared, he still follows the sound. He reaches a park where he sees a horrible scene. There is Jeon Jungkook, the most feared guy of his college, beating the shit out of two men.

"If," kick "I see you," another kick, "doing this shit again" a kick to another guy, "I swear I'll fucking kill you." The ravenette screams at the two men. Taehyung sees blood. Both the men and Jungkook are bleeding. Taehyung feels sick at the sight. But he knows now is not the time. He needs to stop Jungkook before he kills the men. So without thinking Taehyung jumps between the three people who are fighting.

"Yah! Who the fuck are you?" A man yells as he tries to stand up. Taehyung gulps trying to calm himself down. The men are injured and Taehyung stopped Jungkook from beating them further so they wouldn't do anything to him, right?

Wrong.

"Kim fucking Taehyung!" Jungkook yells, "What is your stupid ass doing here?"

Saying Taehyung is scared is an understatement. He is horrified at the moment. The rage he sees in the eyes of his senior is something that is enough to make him run away. But his feet are stuck on the ground. He cannot move even though he knows he should probably get away if he doesn't want to get himself killed.

"T-They will d-die." He stutters, "P-Please don't k-kill them."

"You gotta be kidding me. Do you even know who the fuck are they?" Taehyung flinches as he gets shouted at. Then he sees a sudden change in Jungkook's expression. The anger is replaced by something else that is unknown to Taehyung. "Taehyung! Move." The ravenette yells but the younger can't make sense of the situation anymore.

"Move you fucking idiot." Jungkook yells again and this time, Taehyung wants to but it seems as if his legs are glued to the ground and then it all happens in a very short time. He is suddenly held by his waist and flipped around such that he is standing in Jungkook's place while the latter is in his. The ravenette holds the blonde boy close to himself as he screams in pain and agony.

Taehyung tries to see what happened. The sight of a smirking man standing with a knife with blood on it is enough for Taehyung to realize what just happened.

Heyya lovely people! How are y'all doing? Was this chapter intense? Well, it was necessary so you all could understand Jungkook better just like you got to know a bit about Taehyung through his diary entry.

I also want to say that you guys may notice that the hair colors of the boys in the pictures that I use in the chapters at times don't match with the hair color I described for the characters in the book. I post the pictures if I see them doing something similar in the pic to what is described in the book or because the photos are good. I want y'all to remember that in this book Jungkook has raven hair, Jimin has pink hair and Taehyung has blonde hair as of now. Please don't get confused because of the pictures.
