The second evening of the fest passes by quickly. Everyone has been busy in making the show a grand success and that's what happened. The reactions of most people when they found out that Taehyung is V was amazing. They were happy and some people, specially girls literally started fangirling over him. The number of followers on his Instagram has increased tremendously in these two days and it can be easily said that Taehyung will soon be one of the most popular students in university, just like Jungkook, Namjoon and Hoseok. Well, Jungkook and him being so close acts like a catalyst in the situation. He remembers some people saying-

"Besides being absolutely gorgeous, he is so damn talented as well."

"I had this intuition that Kim Taehyung would be V, not that I'm complaining."

"He is the love of my life."

"Seems like it's time to move on from Jungkook."

"Would he mind taking a picture with me?"

"His voice is so deep and velvety."

"I hope he still continues to work at the broadcasting club even after the fest."

"I'm addicted to his voice."

"We need to decide a fandom name and design light sticks too."

"I thought he was a shy guy but he is totally a daddy material on the stage."

The last statement made Taehyung laugh when he heard it. He isn't a daddy material. Well, between him and Jungkook, everyone knows who will be the daddy and who will be the baby boy. Taehyung gets shy at his own thoughts.

It's almost midnight when the show comes to an end. Everyone decides to go home and rest as the last day of fest is still remaining. When Taehyung went to change and collect his stuff earlier, he met Baekhyun. They had a talk and Baekhyun told him that he is actually gay. He told him that during his school years, he was bullied a lot as he was the typical of nerd.

He was very happy when he got out of school as he wouldn't have to face his bullies anymore but when he entered the university, he found out that they were here as well. Baekhyun told him that his bullies were none other than Taemin and his friends. He didn't want to be bullied further and if they found out that he is gay, they would treat him even more horribly. They didn't leave him be in the university too. They always made him stick around with them and do things for them like running errands and stuff.

He even told Taehyung the reason why Jungkook dislikes him so much. He told him that when Jimin asked Taemin if they could take the next step in their relationship and Taemin yelled at him saying he was just an experiment and nothing else, it was Baekhyun who recorded that video. He was forced to do so. When Jungkook found out about it, he yelled at Baekhyun a lot and even punched him for this. But when he told the ravenette why he did it, Jungkook threatened Taemin to not bother both Jimin and Baekhyun and Taemin had to stay away because no one dares to mess with Jeon Jungkook.

Jungkook helped him but that doesn't mean he had forgiven him for what he did with Jimin. Baekhyun even told Taehyung that he had to pretend to be with Taeyeon because Taemin and his friends got suspicious but soon he realized how wrong he was and he stopped it after apologizing to Taeyeon. He told Taehyung that it's Chanyeol that he loves but he begged him to not tell anyone about it. Taehyung felt bad for him and promised him that his secret is safe with him.

Taehyung waits for Jungkook on a bench in university lawn thinking about whatever Baekhyun told him. The ravenette had promised him to give a ride home and asked him to wait here as he had to check some things in the broadcasting room before that. Taehyung wonders how everyone he met has their own stories. Himself included. By just looking at a person, we can't tell how they really feel. For example, Jimin is a very fun loving person, but he has his story too with a sad part in it.

"Taehyung, let's go home." He hears Jungkook's voice. He gets up and instantly smiles at him. Jungkook opens his arms and Taehyung quickly walks into them. He wraps his arms around Jungkook's waist and places his head on his chest. He feels good like this.

"You were amazing today, baby. I'm so proud of you." Jungkook whispers in his ears softly and runs his hand through his soft hair. Taehyung smiles.

"Thank you."

"And you have no right to look so good. You don't know how hard it is for me to control the urge of just walking up on the stage, pulling you towards me and kissing you hard." Jungkook's voice sends a shiver down his body.

"It was so hard to control myself when I saw people ogling at your body." Jungkook says. Taehyung looks into his eyes, his chin still pressed against the ravenette's chest, "You were doing the same thing, Kookie. Don't think I didn't notice you."

"Yes, I was and I admit that. Only I can stare at your body like that, baby. I can't have anyone eyeing something that is mine." Jungkook's words excite Taehyung. I am Jungkook's? He can't help buy feel giddy.

"But you said you were noticing me too." The ravenette smirks making Taehyung blush.

"You are so handsome. How can I ever resist?" He says and hides his face in the ravenette's chest. Jungkook's chest vibrates due to laughter. He can't believe this is happening with him. Taehyung is in his arms right now and they are talking so comfortably without worrying about anything. The sweet talks, the hugs, the kisses, everything feels so right and normal with Taehyung and he absolutely loves this feeling.

They stay in each other's embrace for a while but when Jungkook's phone rings, he lets go of Taehyung. He pulls his phone out and when he sees the caller id, his face turns serious. He slides the answer button and speaks on the phone, "Do you know what time is it? It's past twelve. This better be important or else I'm hanging up." Jungkook's voice sounds irritated. Taehyung wonders who is he talking to.

"No, listen to me. Don't fucking do it. I have better things to do than dealing with your shit." Now Jungkook sounds clearly angry. After a long pause, the ravenette yells on his phone, "No, shut the fuck up. I'm not interested in your bullshit. Go find someone else. Since you are so good at finding replacements, it won't be so hard."

"No, don't!" Jungkook shouts and Taehyung flinches. Taehyung doesn't like loud voices. More than not liking them, he is scared of them and Jungkook can clearly sees fear in the younger's eyes. He feels bad. He doesn't want Taehyung to see his angry and aggressive self. So he puts a hand on the speaker to cover it and says in a soft voice, "Hey Tae, I need to sort some shit out. Can you wait for me in the car, please? I'll be back soon."

Taehyung immediately nods. He doesn't want to see the ravenette angry either. Heck, he doesn't want him to be angry in the first place but he knows he shouldn't meddle in between.

Jungkook gives him the keys of his car and mouths a 'don't worry'. Taehyung nods and walks away. He wonders what made the ravenette so angry.

Once he is in the parking lot, he hears footsteps approaching him. His heart starts beating faster. The parking lot is dimly lit and he can't see who it is. Most students went home already. Is it Jungkook? He wonders and turns around but then he sees three guys approaching him. He doesn't know them. He has never seen them and seeing them walking in his direction makes him nervous.

"Hi, Taehyung!" The guy in the middle greets him with a smile. But Taehyung knows that it is not a friendly smile. He knows how to differentiate between a friendly and a non-friendly gesture. The smile creeps him out.

"H-Hi." He says in a small voice.

"Are you going home?" The guy asks.

"Umm... yeah."

"Should I drop you?" The guy asks sweetly but Taehyung can feel nothing sweet and friendly in his attitude.

"No, its okay. I can go on my own." Taehyung says, hoping that this would be the end of their conversation.

"Going alone at night is not safe, Taehyung. Specially for a pretty boy like you." The guy's friend speaks up.

"Yeah, you don't know when a murderer or a rapist would jump on you. There's no humanity left in people these days." The other friend says. Taehyung gulps. He knows that humanity is on a brink of extinction. He knows it better than most people out there because he has felt like that and seen it himself. He suffered for six years because of that. And these guys in front of him don't look like nice people.

"I'll m-manage." He says, staring at the floor. He does not have the courage to look at those boys.

"Come on, we're just trying to be friendly here." The first guy says.

"I appreciate your efforts but I can go home alone. I don't want to waste your time. It's pretty late already." Taehyung says and forces a smile. He doesn't want to sound rude because that could make the situation even worse. He wants Jungkook to come quickly.

When the boys say nothing, Taehyung bows a little and starts walking away. When he starts thinking that everything is okay now, he feels a strong tug at his hoodie. He gasps as he is pulled back. He is forcefully turned around. He yelps when he sees the three boys standing so close to him. One of the guy grabs his hoodie from around his neck and pulls him closer to his face. Taehyung can smell alcohol on him. The anger in his eyes makes Taehyung scared. He feels like crying as soon as he realizes that he is not safe. The aura of these three boys screams 'danger'.

"You slut! What do you think of yourself, huh?" The boy grabbing his hoodie yells. Taehyung flinches at the sudden loud voice.

"I-I didn't d-do a-anything." He manages to say. He tries to hold the guy's hand and free himself but the other guy is way stronger than he is.

Jungkook! Where are you?

"You didn't do anything? Oh please, don't act so innocent. Everyone knows that you seduced Jungkook so that you could become the announcer at the fest. Everyone knows that you are whoring around with him to gain popularity." The guy's friend says.

"I d-din't." Taehyung tries to say but he feels like he can't breathe. He didn't do anything with Jungkook to get the position of an announcer. It was the broadcasting club that approached him first.

"We worked so fucking hard. We applied for the auditions and waited hours for our turn but we got rejected because you came into the picture." The guy who was holding his hoodie punches him hard across his face. The impact of the punch was so strong that Taehyung stumbles backwards, wincing in pain. Tears stream down his eyes. All he can think about is Jungkook. He wants Jungkook to come here and save him. He also hates how weak he is that he has to depend on someone else for his safety.

"What did you even do to get that position, huh? Did you suck Jungkook's dick? Because otherwise you can't be what you are. There are many people who are way better than you, fag." The guy punches him again, this times in the stomach. Taehyung screams in pain, clutching his stomach. He feels like he cannot stand anymore. Breathing is already difficult.

The other guy kicks him now and Taehyung falls down. "If you didn't show up, deserving people like us would have got a chance." The guy yells at Taehyung who is lying on the floor, almost lifeless. He doesn't even have the strength to resist or speak. He can't. He is having a hard time breathing, let alone speak.

"P-Please, d-don't." He tries again, but it seems like the boys are not in the right state of their minds.

"Just quit the broadcasting club." One of the three boys says, as he grabs Taehyung's throat and tries to choke him.

"All the popularity you have is because of Jungkook. Don't think so highly of yourself because you are nothing but a fucking whore." Taehyung can't even make out who is speaking now. His eyes are blurry. He desperately hits the ground next to him. He needs air. He needs to breathe.

Before falling into darkness, he hears a scream, "Taehyung!" and he knows who it is.

In a short while, the boys are thrown away from him. A very familiar pair of arms are wrapped around him. He slowly opens his eyes, "K-Kookie." That's all Taehyung manages to say, before everything turns black.
