A/n: Got my second Butter card😌

(In case someone is wondering, my previous username was unolocachica. It was because I used to like Spanish culture a lot but didn't know much about it. I recently took Spanish classes and realized that it was grammatically wrong so I changed it to hershey_y. I'm embarrassed because of my lack of knowledge back then. I'm sorry)

Taehyung runs through the hallway towards the locker room. It is 5:30 PM in the evening. The fest would start in an hour. Taehyung needs to get ready so he hurriedly walks towards the locker room to collect some things that he needs first.

The entire university is decorated so beautifully, as if there is a big festival going on. The grounds are full of game stalls, food stalls, photo booths etc. There's a big stage where the dance group, the modelling club, the drama club and the music club would be performing. For the last night of the fest, which will be the day after tomorrow, Suga would be performing as a grand finale act.

There is also a lot of hype about 'V'. People are very excited to know who V is and it is safe to say that V has the attention of more than 25,000 students on campus. Taehyung is very nervous. The broadcasting club has put up posters to create more hype about V and again, that does not help Taehyung at all with his anxiety.

What if people hate him once they come to know that Taehyung is V? What if people think he is not as good as they think? There are a lot of what ifs going through his mind right now.

Once he reaches the locker room, he opens his locker to take out the shoes he is planning to wear. He also takes out a small make up kit. He will be wearing designer shirt with black skinny jeans. The outfit was recommended to him by Jin the previous night and he can't wait to wear it and click pictures.

When he takes everything that he needs, he is about to leave but stops when he hears faint voices. His eyebrows furrow in confusion and even when he knows that he shouldn't be following voices like that, those voices seem to have a magnetic effect in them and Taehyung just curiously follows.

He stands outside one of the stalls of the changing room because the voices are coming from inside it. "But Chanyeol, we need to get out of here before anyone sees us... or hears us." His eyes widen when he realizes that the voice is Baekhyun's. What is Baekhyun doing with Chanyeol inside the same stall?

"Oh baby, we still have time. You just need to keep your voice down." Chanyeol says and Taehyung can't believe what he is hearing. Baby? Are they really talking about that?

He then hears Baekhyun moan Chanyeol's name and suddenly Taehyung can't take it anymore. He takes a deep breath to calm his confused self down and turns around to leave. He starts walking out quickly but he closes the door a little too loudly, making the two boys inside the stall scared.

Chanyeol quickly opens the door and they peep out to see Taehyung running away. Taehyung doesn't know that they have seen him. Baekhyun is kind of happy that it was just Taehyung and not anyone else but he also knows that he has a lot of explaining to do to his friend.

Taehyung keeps running towards the broadcasting room. His mind is occupied with whatever he heard earlier. Wasn't Baekhyun supposed to be straight? Didn't he date Taeyeon earlier? Then why was he making out with Chanyeol inside the changing room?

He soon reaches the broadcasting room. The male members are all there, ready for the show. Jaehyun discusses about the script one last time with Taehyung and then everyone leaves the room to do a final check up.

Taehyung sighs and sits on Jungkook's chair for a while. Whatever he just heard is keeping his mind occupied and he knows it isn't good. He has an event to focus on.

"Taehyung? Baby, you're still not ready?" He turns his head to look at Jungkook when he hears his voice. Taehyung's jaw drops when he sees Jungkook. He looks so hot in his plain white t-shirt and blue ripped jeans along with a white shirt over it.

Jungkook smirks looking at Taehyung's reaction. He can clearly see that the boy is impressed by his appearance and he likes it.

"Take a picture, Tae. It would last longer." Jungkook teases and Taehyung quickly looks away.

"Why aren't you ready yet?" Jungkook asks him as he takes a seat besides the younger. Taehyung doesn't say anything but keeps looking down, thinking hard. He knows he shouldn't be thinking too much about it. It isn't even his matter but since he considers Baekhyun a very good friend, he kind of feels deceived. He wonders why his friend didn't tell him. But then again, maybe he didn't want to come out just yet?

"Tae, what are you thinking about? Is everything okay?" Jungkook asks. He just got a little worried because of the younger's silence.

"I'm fine." Taehyung says, in a mere whisper and Jungkook knows that it's not true. But it also seems like Taehyung doesn't want to talk about it just yet and Jungkook is no one to force him.

"Okay. I think you should get ready. The event will start soon." Jungkook says, lovingly running his hand through the younger's hair. Taehyung smiles a bit when Jungkook's face comes closer to his. The ravenette smiles at him too before giving him a peck on his lips.

Taehyung and Jungkook have kissed each other many times now but still the way Taehyung blushes every time, it's like it's still their first time and Jungkook feels proud of himself that only he can make him feel like that.

Their sweet moment is interrupted by a knock, followed by the door of the room flying open. They see a panting Baekhyun standing there with a blank expression on his face.

"Taehyung, can we talk?" He asks. Taehyung looks at Jungkook who shrugs and says, "It's your choice, Tae. Do you want me to leave?"

"No." Taehyung says and wraps his hand around Jungkook's quickly. He turns towards Baekhyun and says, "Let's talk later, Baekhyun. The event is about to start and I didn't even get ready yet."

Baekhyun nods as he understands. He looks at Jungkook who is already digging holes in his body with his intense stare. He quickly bows at him and leaves the room.

Jungkook turns to Taehyung and places his hand on his shoulder, "You should get ready, Tae." Taehyung nods and walks to one of the rooms that has been converted into a green room. He quickly gets changed and when he thinks he looks good enough and is about to leave the room, Yerin barges in with Ami at her side.

"What the hell, Yerin? You just barged in without even knocking. What if I were naked?" Taehyung shrieks with his hands covering his already clothed chest while the two girls laugh.

"Don't worry, Mr. Kim. You are fully dressed and look really hot in that outfit." Yerin winks at him while Taehyung glares at her.

"Why are you here anyway?" He asks.

"Since we're revealing who V is today, don't you think you should look good? Now don't get me wrong, you look beyond handsome right now and I'm pretty sure Jungkook will die the moment he sees you. But I also think we need to give some touch ups to your face because there will be a lot of lights and cameras. And my friend, Ami, here will help you with that." Yerin explains. Taehyung just nods as he tries to hide the evident blush on his face. He thinks he should let Ami help him because he doesn't have confidence in his makeup skills yet.

"Since you two know each other so I don't think there should be a problem. I'll see you two later." With that, Yerin walks out of the room.

"Hi, Taehyung!"

"Hi, noona." Taehyung smiles at Ami.

"Since we don't have much time, why don't you sit down so we can get started?" Taehyung complies to what she said and soon enough, Ami starts working on his face.

"So what kind of reaction do you expect from people?" She asks as she puts some eyeshadow on him.

"I don't know. I just hope it's a positive one."

"Don't worry. It will be." She says and continues her work. Ami is one of the few people who knows about Taehyung being V. Jungkook had told his friends, Namjoon and Hoseok and Hoseok couldn't contain himself and told Ami about it. But she promised him that she wouldn't tell about this to anyone and she won't until it gets disclosed today. Ami graduated from this very university last year and she still has friends here. So she offered to help Taehyung. Also her dad's restaurant is one of the caterers for the fest.

"Noona, can I ask you something? It's not about the fest." Taehyung asks nervously.

"Sure."

"Do you think it's too soon to... fall in l-love?"

Ami looks at him through the mirror and smiles, "You love Jungkook?"

"I think so. But is it too soon?" Taehyung asks but he doesn't want her to say yes. He has been feeling all kinds of emotions when he is with Jungkook. He feels happy and Jungkook gives him happiness. A year ago from today, if he thought about happiness, he never believed he would feel it. But now he is with Jungkook, the boy who makes him feel loved and cared for. He makes him feel precious, like he is the most important person in the world. He listens to him as if each word that Taehyung says is of utmost importance. He knows he is in love with Jungkook and he knows Jungkook likes him too. But he doesn't know if the ravenette loves him or not and the thought of him not feeling the same way makes him sad.

"If you're certain that you love him, then you shouldn't think if it's too soon or not, Tae." Ami tells him while patting his shoulder.

"But what if he doesn't feel the same way?"

"You wouldn't know unless you talk to him. But I'll tell you honestly, even though I haven't know Jungkook personally for long, I did know him since the day he entered the university. He never dated anyone before. My friend tried to win over him like many others and she got rejected too. But the way Jungkook is around you, he wouldn't be like that if he didn't feel the same way as you." Ami's words make Taehyung feel relieved.

"Thanks for listening, noona." He smiles at her.

"You don't need to thanke me. Now get ready to go backstage. Jungkook is going to have a hard time because of you." She winks teasingly while Taehyung turns red again.

"The moment you all were waiting for since so long is finally here." Jungkook says excitedly in the mic.

"Let's welcome, the announcer of the Seoul University Annual Fest 2021, give it up for V!" As soon as Jungkook says that, the crowd cheers loudly. Everyone is very excited to see V.

Taehyung, on the other hand, takes a deep breath. His heartbeat is going wild. People at the backstage cheer for him too, to make him feel better and confident. He places his hand above his chest and taps at it twice.

You'll be fine, Taehyung. You can do it.

After saying the words of encouragement to himself, he steps on the stage. The spotlight falls on him and he here the crowd gasp.
