It's 1 AM and the house is quiet now. Since it is raining heavily again, the boys decided to stay at Namjoon's house. Jimin went to Namjoon's room earlier to sleep along with Taehyung. Namjoon took the sleeping bag in the same room while Jungkook and Hoseok stayed in the living room.

Taehyung is wide awake. He cannot fall asleep. A thousand thoughts cross his mind. He sighs and gets up to walk out of the room. Although he did not drink as much alcohol as others, he still feels a little dizzy. He even tried some soju. Maybe that's why he feels like that.

When he enters the living room, he sees Hoseok sleeping on the couch while Jungkook is flopped on the bean bag with his eyes closed. A smile makes its way on the blonde boy's face. Apart from the little argument he had with Jungkook, he thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent there. He felt a little closer to Namjoon and Hoseok too. Maybe I can have friends after all.

He slides the balcony door open and steps out, closing the door as slowly as possible. He doesn't want the other two males to wake up because of him. He stares at the city view ahead. It feels so good to see such a mesmerizing view in front of him. The cool air touches his skin and a few drops of water land on him as the overhead shade does not do a very good job against the heavy rain.

He doesn't realize how long he keeps standing there when feels someone's presence beside him. He turns to his side and sees the ravenette standing close to him. "Why aren't you sleeping?" Jungkook asks.

"I couldn't fall asleep." He replies in a low voice.

"Why?"

"I was just lost in thoughts. I guess I couldn't sleep because of that." Taehyung says. He had been thinking a lot about his life and how it took a good turn. He had also been thinking about the possible relationship that could be between Jimin and the other three boys.

"Oh, so did you have fun tonight?" The ravenette asks.

"I did. It was my first time."

"There are a lot of first times for you these days. Am I right, Kim Taehyung?" Ravenette teases him. Taehyung wonders why the ravenette always talks to him as if he is either a kid or a dumb boy.

"Are you lost, baby girl?" Jungkook smirks at the blonde boy making him snap out of his thoughts.

"B-Baby g-girl? I'm not a baby girl."

"What? Didn't you get the reference? Sure you are innocent as hell. Don't worry, I'll call you baby boy from now if you're uncomfortable with baby girl." Jungkook laughs clearly pissing the younger off. Of course he did not know what reference the older is talking about but by the tone he just used, it doesn't really sound like an innocent reference.

"Shut up." Taehyung glares at the ravenette and the other decides that he should not push the younger further if he doesn't want to get snapped at again.

"Okay, fine. I was just kidding anyway." The ravenette sighs. Taehyung doesn't say anything after that and continues staring at the rain. He extends his palm out in the rain and smiles when the rain drops fall on his skin. He is in his own little world as he enjoys the rain, unaware of the fact that a certain ravenette is closely observing him with a smile on his lips. He is so pretty. Is it even possible for a human to look that good? Okay Jungkook, why do you always think like that when you're around him?

"Hey, remove your hand. You don't wanna catch a cold." Jungkook says and holds the blonde boy's hand as he pulls it away from the rain. His action was completely unintentional. He doesn't even know how his hand reached the younger's and when he held it. But he likes the feeling of holding Taehyung's small hand in his. His hand is so soft.

Taehyung's heart thumps in his chest. A shiver runs down his body as soon as he feels the ravenette's touch. He looks at the older who is already staring at him. Jungkook takes a handkerchief out of his pocket and slowly starts wiping off the blonde boy's hand. He knows that the little amount of water won't make the other fall sick but he is doing this so he can hold his hand a while longer. He likes being close to Taehyung.

"I-It's fine. You don't need to do it for me." Taehyung says in a small voice but he does not pull his hand back either. After a few seconds, Jungkook is done wiping the other's hand and because he does not want to make the situation awkward for the both of them, he leaves his hand. The blonde boy starts missing his touch almost immediately.

"All done." Jungkook smiles. He is glad that it is dark right now because he doesn't want Taehyung to see him blushing.

"So tell me, how was your first drinking experience?" The ravenette asks. He feels like he needs to talk to the younger.

"It was okay, I guess." Taehyung says and when Jungkook doesn't say anything after that, he decides to say what he wanted to for so long, "But I don't know why do you care so much?"

Jungkook looks confused so Taehyung continues, "Like one day, you're right there with me... h-helping me get through my p-panic attack and the next day, you decide to act like an asshole. As if that moment didn't mean anything to you. Okay it may not mean anything to you because I was the one who needed help and not you. B-But can you just be nice to me for once? What did I ever do to you that you keep taunting me like that? I have enough shits to deal with so please don't add more to it. I'm a h-human and I f-feel b-bad, you know?"

Taehyung ends up in tears. He hates the fact that he gets so emotional sometimes but this one thing had been bugging him for a while now and he really wanted to talk to the ravenette about it.

On the other hand, Jungkook is rendered speechless. He didn't know that his mere words affected the younger like this. He has anxiety issues, you idiot. Why did you have to act like a dumbass? Jungkook mentally curses himself. He looks at the younger boy whose eyes are full of tears. Taehyung furiously rubs his eyes, not wanting to cry in front of the ravenette. He doesn't want to seem weak in front of him but Jungkook had already seen him in one of his weakest moments.

"Hey, don't rub your eyes like that. It's not good for your eyes." Jungkook says and gently grabs Taehyung's hand. He removes it away from his face and then he cups his cheeks. He gently wipes his tears using him thumbs. While Jungkook does so, Taehyung is once again confused by his sweet gestures.

"I'm sorry." Jungkook blurts out. He said it in such a low voice that if Taehyung wasn't standing so close to him and if it wasn't as quiet as it is right now, maybe Taehyung wouldn't have heard him.

As the blonde boy continues to stare at him, the older boy asks, "Do you know what am I?"  Taehyung slowly shakes his head.

"I'm a jerk." Jungkook says. Taehyung looks at him with a confused expression.

"You know what else am I?" The ravenette asks as his thumbs make circular patterns on the cheeks of the younger. "What?" Taehyung asks in a small voice.

"An egoist dumbass who keeps forgetting that he doesn't really want to hurt you."

"Why d-did you h-hurt me then? I thought we kind of became f-friends yesterday. You even kept my panic attack a secret. I was s-so happy." Taehyung sniffles and Jungkook can't help but find this act adorable.

"I'm sorry. I just say whatever comes to my mind without thinking sometimes. It's just fun teasing people but I'm really sorry I didn't realize that I was going overboard. I'll try to be good to you, Tae. I promise. Please don't be angry with me and stop crying, hmm?" Jungkook's honey coated voice once again makes Taehyung's heart melt.

"So can we be... friends?" Taehyung asks instead of replying to the ravenette. Jungkook wasn't expecting this question. He thought that Taehyung would just tell him to mind his own business. But here he is asking him to be friends with him and who is he to decline? Taehyung is someone he finds really pretty and adorable. He feels calm whenever they are together. He can't just decline the offer, right?

"Sure." Jungkook smiles at him making the other smile as well. "So did you forgive me?" He asks the younger.

"You know what am I?" Taehyung asks instead and Jungkook raises his eyebrows in response.

"I'm a boy with a big heart. I don't hold grudges. So I forgive you, Kookie." Taehyung says smiling brightly.

Kookie? Did he just call me Kookie? Jungkook is screaming inwardly. He slightly blushed at the nickname and again, he is glad that it is dark and the other boy cannot see him. He doesn't know why he feels this way around the younger but he is not complaining because he likes this feeling a lot. Well, he would like it more if Taehyung felt like that too but they just became friends and there is no need to rush.

"What are you thinking, Kookie?" Taehyung asks.

"Nothing. Thanks for your forgiveness, your highness." Jungkook bows making Taehyung giggle. The ravenette likes the sound of it and smiles himself.

"Alright Tae, since we are friends, can I tell you something?" He asks.

"Yeah."

"Take the position of the announcer at the broadcasting club." Jungkook says. Taehyung gulps. The nervousness just came back.

"Jungkook, I don't think-"

The older boy cuts him off, "Tae, you should do it. People die to be a part of the broadcasting club. You should grab an opportunity when you get it and not let it go. So many people will know you then. They will love you because I know you'll do great."

"Jungkook is right, Tae." They hear Jimin's voice. He is standing near the door with his arms wrapped around himself, slightly rubbing his body to keep himself warm.

"Eavesdropping is not good, Chim." Jungkook sighs.

"Sorry, I had to go to the bathroom but then I saw that Taehyung was missing and I kind of panicked so I came here to check." The pink haired boy says.

"How long have you been standing there?" Taehyung asks, moving closer to his friend. He is happy to know that Jimin was concerned about him.

"Oh I just came when you were forgiving him for whatever stupidity he did." Jimin says earning a glare from Jungkook.

"Oh." Taehyung just looks down, feeling shy.

"But seriously Tae, you should try being an announcer. You'll have a huge fan following in the university then." Jimin says.

"But I'm not good enough." Taehyung says with a sigh.

"Jungkook here will help you. They train the new members. Right, hyung?" Jimin looks at Jungkook who nods.

"Yes, I'll be there to help you. I even trained Soobin and look how good he is. You don't have to worry about anything, Tae. We'll take care of you." Jungkook says. Taehyung thinks about it for a while as being a member of the broadcasting club is a very good opportunity indeed. It's okay. Maybe I can do it. Jungkook will be there too and I think I should believe him. If I do it, then maybe mom, dad and Jin hyung would feel proud of me.

"Taehyung?" Jimin and Jungkook call him at the same time. The blonde boy looks at them and says, "I'll do it."
