Jungkook slowly opens his eyes. The room is completely dark. Where am I? He wonders as he sits up. He quickly switches on the bedside lamp and then the realization hits him. He is in Taehyung's house. Since it was raining heavily last night, Seokjin had insisted him to stay.

(Flashback)

"I think I should go, hyung." Jungkook says to Seokjin who is busy cooking something in the kitchen.

"No, don't even think of it. It's raining so heavily. It's that time of the year when a lot of accidents take place. I can't let you leave." Seokjin says sternly.

"Oh, but it's getting late."

"Just stay the night. Besides I'm making ramen. No one says no to ramen. Specially when it's made by Kim Seokjin." Jin says proudly making the younger laugh.

"Okay. But isn't Taehyung going to eat?"

"He will. I'll wake him up and make him eat." Jin says as he places two bowls of ramen on the dining table.

"Why? He can eat himself. I'll call him." Jungkook says. He just wants to help as he feels completely useless at the moment and he doesn't want to seem like a free loader.

"No, don't. I'll do that later. You should eat your food before it gets cold." Jin says as he sits down and begins eating himself. Jungkook does the same.

"You're such a caring brother." The ravenette says.

"You don't even know me."

"Well, I do."

"I mean that you don't know Taehyung's Jin hyung. Maybe you know the actor Kim Seokjin."

"Right, but he has answered your phone a few times when we were together so I could easily guess." Jungkook says.

"Oh, then I'll tell you what." Jin glares at his guest, "The other day when you were with Taehyung at a nearby convince store, you called him stupid and I heard that. How is he stupid? He is experiencing all this for the first time."

"What do you mean by that?" Jungkook is confused. He doesn't understand whatever Jin is telling him about his brother.

"You don't need to know." Jin sighs, "And I'm sorry I snapped at you like that but you see, I'm a little protective towards my brother. It's just he's gone through a lot and he has anxiety issues. I guess you must have noticed by now. He isn't a very confident person. He told me how you taunt him at times but he's also praised you a couple of times. Seeing that you helped him today, I know one thing for sure."

"What is that?" Jungkook asks softly. He never expected someone to praise him. Well, besides his mom, friends and Jimin. Getting to know that Taehyung praised him is weird, after all the times he teased him and made fun of him. It's not his intention to do so but he can't help it. He just needs his fair share of fun and he is used to his habits.

"You're not a bad person. Your bad boy personality is just a mask." Jin says and Jungkook knows that the elder is right.

"Uh..."

"It's okay if you don't wanna talk about it. I just want to really thank you for being there for Taehyung when I wasn't there." Jin says.

"Oh, it's not a problem. We're f-friends and what happened at the convenience store won't happen again." He says. Jin smiles at him and shows him the guest room which Jungkook could use.

(Flashback ends)

Jungkook enters the washroom to get freshened up. A thousand thoughts come to his mind all at once. He is genuinely very curious about Kim Taehyung now. It seems as if the blonde boy is a mystery that he needs to solve.

After a few minutes, he enters the kitchen and sees the Kim brothers bickering about something. "Taehyung-ah, that is the wrong way to make cereals." Jin says snatching the bottle of milk away from his brother.

"But hyung, I added milk in the bowl. I just need to put the cereal now, right?" Taehyung says with an annoyed expression on his face.

"No, you don't put cereal in milk. You put milk in cereal." Jin says loudly and Taehyung pouts.

"But I saw dad make it the way I'm making." The younger argues.

"Dad burns the kitchen down when he tries to cook something and you're like him so please get your ass away from the counter. Let me be in charge of food here." Jin says pushing Taehyung away gently.

"I'll tell mom you don't let me cook."

"Oh, go ahead. We both know what she's going to say." Jin says with a smirk and Taehyung huffs. He moves towards the exit of the kitchen where he sees Jungkook standing. He looks at him with his big doe eyes.

"Why are you here?" He asks.

"Is that the way you talk to someone who helped you?" Jin says and Taehyung rolls his eyes skyward.

"It was raining so Jin hyung asked me to stay." Jungkook says and Taehyung nods.

"I went to sleep early. I hope my brother didn't annoy you much. Sometimes he's so extra." Taehyung moves closer to the raven head and whispers in his ear. The two boys laugh while Jin looks at them questioningly.

"Okay, both of you can eat now. I made some sandwiches too. I'll leave now." Jin says as he hurries out of the kitchen.

"Where's he going?" Jungkook asks Taehyung.

"He has a photo shoot." Taehyung says shrugging.

The two of them quickly finish their breakfast and Jungkook offers that they could go together to the university in his car to which Taehyung quickly agrees. They first go to Jungkook's place where he quickly changes his clothes while Taehyung waits in the car. Then they drive towards their university while listening to their favorite songs.

"None of the people who auditioned to be the announcer are good enough, Jungkook." Jaehyun says shaking his head. At the moment, the broadcasting club members are having a meeting as they have to choose an announcer for the university fest. But apparently no one is good enough.

"Second that. Most of the people auditioned because we have some hot people in the broadcasting club and they want to work with them." Yerin says making everyone laugh.

"I have an idea though." Soobin says.

"What is it?" Jungkook asks.

"Instead of choosing from auditions, should we just appoint someone to do it? Someone who we know is good? It doesn't matter if that person did not audition. We can just talk to them." Soobin suggests.

"Good idea." Jaehyun agrees with him.

"Yes, we can get someone who can converse well and if that person looks good too, then our work will be a lot easier as many people would want to attend the fest for them." Yerin says happily.

"So do you guys have someone in mind?" Jungkook asks.

"I don't know. We can get Lisa or Taemin?" Jaehyun asks.

"Taemin is an asshole." Jungkook says shaking his head.

"Then Min Yoongi? He is from our university itself." Soobin suggests.

"He won't do that. He's a celebrity, dude. It would be so hard to get him. Maybe it would require a lot of money too to get him work with us and we don't have that kind of budget. Did you forget what happened last year when we tried to get him?" Jungkook says holding his head. They have a lot of work to do but they still don't have an announcer.

"Let's pick someone new. It's not necessary if they are popular or not. Let's just pick someone good. Someone who doesn't have an attitude problem and listens to us." Jaehyun says.

"We're still getting a good looking person, right?" Yerin asks sheepishly.

"Well, if they are good at the main skill then why not? After all, they can attract more people." Soobin says.

"Then I know a person who can do that." Yerin says and the three boys ask her simultaneously, "Who?"

"Kim Taehyung."

Jimin runs towards his friend and hugs him tightly. "I'm so happy, Taehyung."

"What happened, Jimin?" Taehyung asks hugging him back.

"I auditioned for contemporary dance for the university fest and guess what, I got selected!" The pink haired boy squeals happily.

"Wow, I'm so happy for you, Jiminie. I'll come to watch you."

"Obviously, you have to." Jimin says and puts an arm across his friend's shoulder, "Have you decided what you want to participate in?"

"Umm... Do I have to?"

"Heck yeah! Do you even know how crazy good this whole fest thing is?" Jimin says and then he crosses his arms across his chest. "You are participating and that's final."

"But I'm not good at anything." Taehyung whines.

"But you're good at music. You're handsome. You can even be a model, you know. I'm sure they haven't chosen the face of the fest yet." Jimin says.

"Shut up, Jimin." Taehyung rolls his eyes.

"But it's true." Jimin pouts.

As they continue arguing about it, they see a pretty girl walking towards them. "Hi Jimin! Hey Taehyung!" She greets them with a smile. Taehyung looks at Jimin who is smiling at the girl, meaning that he knows her but Taehyung definitely doesn't and he wonders how she knows his name.

"Hey Yerin! What's up?" Jimin asks her.

"Don't ask me. We have so much to prepare for before the fest starts and Jungkook is going crazy, yelling at every member of the club. It's really tiring." She sighs.

"Well that's so... Jungkook." Jimin says and the two of them laugh while Taehyung just smiles a little.

"Oh, I almost forgot what I came here for." Yerin says and turns to Taehyung, "Hey, can you come with me to the broadcasting room?"

"W-Why?" Taehyung is suddenly nervous.

"Umm... I can't really say that here. Can you please come with me?" She asks him politely. Taehyung looks at Jimin who gives him a reassuring nod.

"Don't worry, Tae. Jungkook would be there. You'll be fine." Jimin whispers in the blonde boy's ear as he pulls him in a quick hug.

"That's what I'm worried about." Taehyung mutters.

"Did you say something?" Yerin asks.

"Nothing. Let's go." He forces a smile and follows her to the broadcasting room.
