Taehyung looks at Jungkook talking to the police officer. He is giving him an explanation of what happened here. The two goons glare at Taehyung from the police car making him scared.

It's okay Tae, they are handcuffed and police is here too. You're safe.

The blonde boy keeps his hand on his heart and takes deep breaths to process whatever happened a while ago. He looks at Jungkook who has his one hand holding his other arm because it is bleeding. Taehyung can see the pain in the eyes of the older as he tries to maintain his calm and talk to the police officer.

"And what is that person doing here?" The police officer asks looking at Taehyung. The blonde boy gulps, not knowing what to say.

"He just came five minutes before you, officer. I don't think he knows much of the story." Jungkook says glaring at the younger, making him feel smaller.

"Okay, I get it. I'm really glad you helped us catch these goons." The officer says pointing towards his car, "I'll get going now. You should come to the police station tomorrow so that your statement can be recorded. Where is the victim again?"

"Oh, that boy was badly beaten up. My friend took him to the hospital." The ravenette says and the officer nods.

"I'll go take his statement too. Thank you again." The officer says to Jungkook and then turns to Taehyung, "Hey kid, you need to come to the police station too. Drop by tomorrow."

"W-Why m-me? I didn't do an-anything." Taehyung says and the officer laughs.

"Its protocol. Come by tomorrow. I'll take my leave now." The officer says to the two boys and leaves. Now with the police gone, Taehyung is alone with Jungkook and he is really scared. The ravenette turns around and the blonde boy wonders if he should run away. So that's what he does. He slings his bag on his shoulder and starts walking away, hoping that Jungkook doesn't call him back.

"Hey you! Who said you could leave?" The raven haired male says in a cold voice and Taehyung slowly turns around.

"Get back here." Taehyung quickly walks over to Jungkook as he hears his commanding voice. When the boys are close enough, the younger boy notices the elder's hands. They are bruised with blood on them. The older of the two winces in pain as he slowly removes his hoodie. Taehyung closes his eyes at that.

Why is he removing his clothes in front of me?

"No need to close your eyes. I'm not going to do a fucking strip tease for you." The ravenette says in an annoyed voice. Taehyung opens his eyes and notices that Jungkook is wearing a plain t-shirt underneath. He looks at the elder's arm. It has a cut with blood oozing out of it. Taehyung panics.

"J-Jungkook, you need to see a d-doctor." He says in a low voice. He doesn't realize when his hand reaches for Jungkook's arm and he caresses the area near his wound.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Taehyung flinches and moves his hand away.

"You need to go to the hospital." Taehyung says trying to make his voice sound firm, "You're hurt and your arm is bleeding."

"I'd like to thank a certain blonde boy for that." The ravenette says sarcastically.

"I'm sorry." Taehyung looks down. He knows it's his fault.

"You're sorry? If a mere word like sorry was enough, then why would we need the police and the law?" Jungkook snaps suddenly.

"I-I know i-it's my fault." Taehyung says with tears threatening to fall from his eyes, "If I hadn't in-interrupted, you wouldn't h-have to t-take the kn-knife instead of m-me." He somehow manages to finish the sentence.

"I'm glad to know that you're not that dumb. At least you know its your fault." Jungkook says.

"Can I do s-something for you?" Taehyung asks. He feels really guilty at the moment. He heard Jungkook's conversation with the police officer earlier. He got to know that Jungkook was just helping a boy who had been mugged and injured a while ago. He beat those men in self defense because they tried to mess with him too. Since Taehyung didn't realize the actual situation earlier and jumped thinking that Jungkook was causing trouble again, he feels very guilty right now.

"Yes, you can." Jungkook says and moves closer to the younger. He grabs the blonde boy's collar. Taehyung's breath hitches. He is scared. He feels suffocated as memories from his past start resurfacing. The ravenette grits his teeth, "Stop meddling with my business and stay the fuck away from me."

"I-I w-will." Taehyung says and a few drops of tears fall from his eyes. How he wishes some miracle to happen and Jungkook to calm down.

"Oh my fucking God!" The ravenette exclaims as he harshly pushes the blonde boy away from him, "Why the fuck are you crying now? Are you a two year old?"

That does not help at all. Taehyung sobs. He feels helpless. He can stand not having friends because he has never had friends before he met Jimin. But he cannot watch people hating him. He's seen a lot of hatred before. Many people have been rude to him in the past. Why do people always treat him like he's not some human being but a football that can be kicked around all the time?

"Look, stop crying." Jungkook says trying to calm himself down a little. He doesn't like people crying around him.

"For God's sake, Taehyung, stop crying. People will misunderstand." He tries again, this time holding the younger by his shoulder. But his words have no effect on the other. He thinks for a moment what he should do. An idea suddenly pops in his mind and he holds the younger by his hand and starts walking.

Taehyung looks at him in confusion and asks the other, "W-Where are y-you taking m-me?" Jungkook doesn't answer and keeps pulling the younger with him. After almost three minutes of dragging and being dragged, they reach a convenience store. Taehyung's eyes are filled with confusion but he dares not speak a word.

Jungkook goes inside the store and comes back after five minutes while Taehyung keeps wondering what is he doing here with a dangerous guy like Jungkook. But then he convinces himself thinking that he is in public and people would help him out if Jungkook decides to yell at Taehyung, hit him or kill him.

"Here." A cold coffee with icecream suddenly appears in front of Taehyung. He looks at it with a confused expression and sees Jungkook holding it. "Take it." The older says as he stares at the younger, noticing his every move. Taehyung sniffles as he wonders if it would be a good decision to take it. His brother had told him not to accept anything to eat or drink from strangers and Jungkook is practically a stranger. They have just interacted twice before this and that wasn't a very happy meeting.

"God! You test my patience, Tae." The ravenette says as he brings the straw of the cold coffee close to the blonde boy's lips. Taehyung feels weird as he notices some people looking at them so he quickly takes the cold coffee in his own hands.

Did he poison it? He wonders.

"I did not poison it, Tae." Jungkook says as he laughs.

"Did I say that aloud?" Taehyung asks in an embarrassed tone and the older nods while chuckling.

"Did you not buy one for yourself?" The younger boy asks and Jungkook just shakes his head before taking a seat on a nearby table. Taehyung wonders if he should go and sit next to him. Of course he should because Jungkook bought this drink for him and he cannot just walk away with that. But also Jungkook's suddenly calm demeanor worries Taehyung.

"Aren't you sitting?" The elder's voice makes Taehyung sit down quickly. He keeps sipping at his drink quietly just like a toddler when it is given a bottle of milk. He watches Jungkook taking out an antiseptic liquid and pouring it on a cotton ball.

"Why did you buy this for me?" Taehyung asks as he cannot contain his curiosity.

"I needed to make a crying kid shut up." Says the ravenette coldly of course making the younger sad. "I had to buy some ointments and bandages so I thought I might as well bring you here and bribe you so that you keep quiet."

Taehyung decides to keep quiet. He doesn't want to annoy the ravenette further because he wishes to live longer.

"Why are you here anyway?" Jungkook asks.

"Huh?"

"What are you doing here? Do you live around here?"

"Uh... no. My hyung does." Taehyung says.

"Hyung? You have an elder brother?"

"I do."

"Oh? I never thought you were the kind to have siblings." The ravenette says as he applies some ointment on his knuckles.

"W-Why?" Taehyung is curious once again.

"I don't know. You just look like the pampered single child of the house." Jungkook shrugs. He used the right word. Taehyung is pampered and spoilt a lot by his family but its because he didn't spend a lot of time with them in the past and they want to make up for that time.

"No, I have a brother. He is five years older than me." Taehyung says in a quiet voice.

"Then you must be like the little daughter of your house." Jungkook prompts.

"What makes you think that?" Taehyung asks with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Well, your aura screams that I'm a cute little princess who can get into trouble easily." The ravenette laughs.

What? Cute? Did I just say he's cute? I must have lost my mind after this shitty day. Jungkook thinks to himself.

"It's not like that." Taehyung glares at Jungkook, a cute pout adores his face which ruins all his efforts of trying to look angry.

"Then what is it like?" Jungkook is having a good time irritating the younger but they are interrupted as Taehyung's phone rings.

"Hyung!" He squeals happily as he answers his phone and Jungkook wonders if he is looking at the same guy who was crying not too long ago.

"You called me, Taehyung-ah?" Jin asks from the other side of the phone.

"Yes, hyung. Mom and dad are going out for a few days so they told me to go to your place. But I didn't know your exact address so I called you to ask that." Taehyung explains.

"Okay I'll come home and pick you up." Jin says.

"No, I'm not at h-home." Taehyung says suddenly feeling shy for some unknown reason.

"Then where are you? Tell me so I can pick you up."

"I'm in Hannam-dong itself. But this area is..." Taehyung looks around as he doesn't know where he is.

"Where are you, Taehyung?" His brother asks with concern.

"I-I don't k-know, hyung." He says suddenly feeling like a loser.

"Its okay, Taetae. Just ask someone around." His brother says calmly and Taehyung looks towards Jungkook who is already looking at him with an amused expression.

"J-Jungkook, d-do you know where are we?" He asks and sees the ravenette burst into laughter.

"God! You're really stupid. Can't you read the board?" He says as he laughs. Taehyung feels bad again. Jin hears that on the other end and he furiously shouts, "Yah, Taehyung-ah! Who is that idiot you are hanging out with? How dare he call you stupid?"

"I-it's okay, hyung."

"No, its not." Jin yells, "I am going to kick that boy's ass when I get there. Now tell me where are you?"

Taehyung tells Jin the exact location and Jin hangs up promising his brother that he would be there soon.

"I'm leaving." Jungkook says while getting up and starts walking away without even looking at the younger. The ravenette had received a text from Namjoon saying that the boy who got beaten up is okay and that they should meet up to discuss about the video.

"B-Bye." Taehyung says from behind but he doubts if his voice reached Jungkook as he is too far gone.
