"Heeseung, we have to talk. Now," Seungwoo said firmly. 

His heart sank. Hana looked up at Seungwoo, confusion flickering in her eyes as she looked between the two of them. 

"How did you get in here?" she asked, her voice a hint accusatory as she looked at both of them again. 

Seungwoo ignored her and walked away, gesturing for Heeseung to follow. Heeseung gave Hana an apologetic smile before following Seungwoo outside, into the cold. 

Or at least, he would have been cold, if he'd been human. 

"You saved her," Seungwoo said flatly. 

"I'm sorry," Heeseung whispered. 

"If you were really sorry, you wouldn't have done that," Seungwoo snapped. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Do you realize how much paperwork you've created for me now? Why did you do it? You've never stepped out of line before." 

"She makes me feel human," Heeseung whispered, the words sounding ridiculous even to himself. 

"But you're not human," Seungwoo said firmly. "And we're not supposed to mess with human lives. You know that." 

He did know that. But that didn't change the fact that he just did. It didn't change the fact that he thought he might do it again, if he could. 

He didn't want her to die. He knew that with absolutely certainty. 

"You can't do things like this again," Seungwoo said firmly. "You could get in big trouble for this alone, you realize that, right?" 

Heeseung nodded, looking at the floor. 

"Because of you, I have so much paperwork, trying to cover this up," Seungwoo grunted. 

Heeseung looked up at him hopefully. "What?" 

"You heard right," Seungwoo grumbled. "This is your first mistake, so I'll do my best to cover it up for now. But you can't be doing things like this again, because next time I won't be able to help. Got it?" 

"Understood," Heeseung said eagerly, letting out a sigh of relief. "I'm going to... go back inside now. And I know my identity has to be kept a secret. I'll try to explain in a way that doesn't reveal anything," he assured him, starting to turn away. 

"Oh, one more thing," Seungwoo said suddenly, stopping him. 

"Yes?" 

"If she ends up being the cause of another incident like this, I'll have to ban you from seeing her again."
