Neil opens the door with extra key.. he walks inside the mansion only to find the mansion all dark.. he turns the lights on when his eyes fell on the sofa where his love was sleeping in uncomfortable position. Neil shook his head and took small steps towards her.

Neil kept his things on table and bending down to Avni's level kissed her forehead. He then starts caressing Avni's cheek.

Neil then carefully picks avni up in his arms. As he picked avni, she opened her eyes and blinking her eyes looks at Neil. Neil smiles at her.

Avni : husband.. when did you come?

Neil : just while ago.. and love what am I seeing? Why are you sleeping uncomfortably in hall? Didn't I warn you not to wait for me? Why don't you listen to me?

Avni : ACP Neil khanna stop scolding and put me down.

Neil making faces puts her down.

Avni : Neil you fresh up while i get dinner reheated for you.

Neil : love did you have your dinner?

Avni : nope.. I was waiting for you then didn't knew when I slept in hall.

Neil : not worry.. we will have dinner together.. you reheat the food while i will wash my face and hands.

Avni nodded her head and made her way to kitchen whereas Neil went to his room..

Avni starts reheating food and laid it on dining table. She then sat down waiting for Neil who joined a minute later..

Neil took his seat and looks at avni who got to from her chair and starts serving him.. he smiles as she severed him.

Neil : where is your plate love?

He asked Avni as he didn't see another plate. Avni giving him smile moves the chair to back and settled comfortable in Neil's lap making him shiva but eventually he smiled at her act.

Avni : this is my plate husband.

Neil : I'm loving this..

He said gesturing their position making avni blush but she avoided looking at him and starts feeding him.

They both fed each other.. in between Neil apologies to Avni who got confused.

Avni : husband why are you saying sorry?

Neil : I didn't pay attention when we met today...

Avni immediately understood what he was talking about it.

Avni : Neil you were doing your duty... I don't want you sorry.. it's okay.. hmm..

Neil : are you not angry with me then?

Avni : who said I was angry with you in first place?

Neil : no one told me but I thought you were angry the way ignored you..

Avni : Neil I'm not angry with you.. okay.. leave all these.. what made you come late today?

Neil : remember the accident happened today na.. I got busy investigating his case..

Avni nodded her head feeding the last bite to him.. she took tissue and wiped his lips who did same to hers.. avni got down his lips and collected the plates.. she went to kitchen followed by Neil who stood behind her..

AvNeil walks to their room. Neil took his change and moves to washroom meanwhile avni took her shopping out to show Neil.. she kept the bags on bed and sat on her side.. she took her phone out and scrolled through few apps when she heard washroom door click.

She lifts her head up and saw Neil.. she passed him smile who throwing towel on couch walks near bed.

Neil: love what is all these?

Avni : shopping bags Neil..

Neil : I can see that but why have you kept it on bed?

Avni : I want to show what I have brought.. come sit..

Neil shaking his head sat on his side while avni starts showing Neil what she shopped all day with Meher.. Neil with smile took interest knowing what avni has brought.. his fell on one particular bag which avni hasn't showed him yet.

Neil : love what is in that bag? You didn't show me.

Avni follows his gaze and saw the bag which Neil was talking about.

Avni : oh this bag.. this bag for Juhi baby.. Meher brought these..

Neil : oh is that so.. show me what you guys brought?

Avni nodded her head took the bag and showed.. Neil seeing baby clothes went aww.. he looks at avni who was showing him the dress..

Neil : by the love... you are practicing to buy baby clothes.. am I right?

Avni snapping her head immediately understood what he said.. she blushingly slaps his arms making him laugh..

Avni : Neil..

Neil . What Neil? I didn't say anything wrong..

Avni shook her head and kept the all the bags on couch.. she avoided looking at Neil after that.. she went back to bed and saw Neil laying down on his stomach.. she smiles slips beside him  under the duvet. As she got inside Neil flips his position and opens his eyes for avni who comes into his arms and snuggles..

Avni : Neil can I ask you something?

Neil : hmm!

Avni : have ever thought being parent? I mean...

Neil looks at her..

Neil : what do you mean by that love?

Avni : I mean to say.. is do you want baby boy or girl?

Neil : it doesn't matter it is boy or girl.. all it matters to me is that baby is symbol of our love. Why do your ask that?

Avni then narrates her conversation with Meher..

Neil: she loves baby truly.. but that doesn't mean we will rush.. we can plan baby after few years..

Avni : yeah.

Neil : sleep now.. you look tired too.

Avni : good night Neil.

Neil : good night love..

Neil kissed her cheek and starts caressing her hairs till she was faster sleep. Neil smiles and closed his eyes too..

Next three day were hectic for AvNeil's as they both were working individual cases. They hardly got any time for themselves..

It was another day where Neil woke up early in the morning.. he kissing Avni's cheek went to fresh up... Neil completing his morning routines comes out of the washroom and saw avni awake...

Neil : good morning love!

Avni : good morning Neil..

Avni climbs down the bed and walks to cupboard. She took her clothes out and went to fresh not before kissing Neil's cheek who smiled at her..

Neil ruffling his hair went got ready and took his things keeping it on bed. He then pulling the drawer side took a file out.. he starts reading the file and at the same time his phone rang..

Neil closed the file and picks his phone up from side table.. he saw Neela calling him.

Neil : Hello Neela maa!

Neela : hello Neil..how are you?

Neil : I'm fine maa..how are you?

Neela: I'm good Neil.. I have called to know can you and avni come to Metha mansion at night..

Neil : is everything okay maa?

Neela : yes everything is all good.. we miss you both.. can you both make it?

Neil : maa we will come..

Neela : thank you Neil.. I'll see you home then.

Neil : okay! Bye maa!

Neil ended the call and kept his phone back on side when he heard Avni's voice.

Avni : whose call was it?

Neil : Neela maa.. she asked if we could come to Metha mansion.

Avni nodded her head moves to dressing table to get ready..

AvNeil after breakfast went to police station.

Neil was working in his cabin with dd when he heard some voices out of his cabin.. he looks dd who looks confuse too.

Neil : go and check who is shouting outside.

Dd nodded his head went out only to rush back into Neil's cabin.

Neil : why did you come back dd? Who is shouting outside?

Dd : Neil sir.... woh..

Neil : dd stop stammering and who is shouting outside?

Dd composed himself and fiddling with his fingers looks at Neil.

Dd : Neil sir... why don't you come outside and see what is happening out?

Neil gave look to dd but nodding his head moves out to see crowed there..

Neil : what the hell is happening here?

His loud voice made everyone startled and shock.. everyone turns to Neil and bowed their head down..

Neil walks to them..

Neil : what is happening here? Who is shouting?

Neil said looking at them but he didn't find the person who shouting in the police station.. one of the constables pulls the person front of Neil who dared to shout loudly in police station making Neil confuse..

Neil : who the hell he is? And why is he shouting?

Constable : sir he is drunk and creating scene here... we tried stopping him but he didn't... sorry sir..

Neil : escort him to his house.. once he is in sense then I'll have word with him.

The constable nodded his head and took the drunken man away. Neil shook his head and told everyone to get back to work.

Neil : dd where is avni?

Dd : sir Bhabhi and suhneria are investigating one of the case..

Neil : okay.. come into my cabin..

Dd nodding his head followed Neil to Neil's cabin...

Neil sat on his chair and looks at dd who to give him update about the case.

Dd : Neil sir............................

Neil : this will help us to reach to main culprit.. he never had enemy or rivals in business world but still someone tried killing him.. it can be a family member or something else... did you get any information from his family?

Dd : sir they didn't disclosed anything... they thought any such thing could happen..

Neil : life is unpredictable Dd.. listen to me.. three days back I went to his office where I had kept eyes on few employers.. I'm sending you their name with photo.. I want every single details of them on my desk. Is that clear..

Dd : yes sir!

Neil took his phone out and looks at dd.

Neil : I'm sending you email.. their photos will be on mail. Check it and get print out.

Dd nodded his head left the cabin..

Neil sending the email to dd thought of something. He called Prakash then Ashish to know if they knew this person but he got negative reply from both of them.

Neil kept his phone on the desk and tried recalling the person's dead body.. the accident was horrible that wouldn't get away from his head. Neil palmed his face...

He removes his palm as he heard his name being called out.. he looks front of him and saw worried avni.. he tried composing himself..

Neil : love.. when did you come back?

Avni : Neil what's wrong?

Neil took glass of water and gulps it down.. he then kept the glass down looking at avni..

Neil : love.. I'm fine.. I'm just worried about the case.. leave about me.. what is progress the case you're working on?

Avni pulls the chair and sat down.

Avni : progress is good Neil.. investigations is still going on..

Neil nodded his head.

Neil : where did you go? I heard you went out.

Avni : I went out to find clue.. luckily we got one... I have sent to lab but let's see what's the result..

Neil : that's good.. you don't stress.. case will be solved soon when you're working so hard..

Avni : what is your progress?

Neil : still joining the points together..

Avni : Neil.. I can help you if you want..

Neil : no love.. I can't trouble you more.. you have another case responsibility.. I can't give you more work.

Avni tried explaining Neil but dd comes disturbing them.. dd gave the print out to Neil.

Dd : sir these are the pictures that you have sent on email..

Neil : good..

He checks the photos.

Neil : I want few constables with you to find the details of them..

Dd: okay sir!

Neil gave the photos back to dd. Dd giving smile to avni left the cabin.

In Metha mansion.

Neela and dayavnti prepared dinner for AvNeil and was sitting in hall.. and out of nowhere aman pops out scarring dayavnti..

Aman burst out laughing seeing dayavnti face.. Neela slapped aman shoulder.

Aman : Dadi you got scared... hawww..

Dayavnti: you wait and watch.. no food for you..

Aman's eyes popped out hearing dayavnti.. he fake cried looking at Neela.

Aman : maa you don't give me food to eat.. I'll die like that..

Neela slaps her head seeing his drama.

Neela : what should I do with this boy? Aman keep your mouth shut.. don't mutter  nonsense..

Aman cried louder wanting both ladies to bang their head.. to both ladies door bell rang.. Aman jumped from sofa and ran to open the door. Soon as he opened the door he stares the person before jumping on the person making everyone shock..

Aman : diiiiiiiiiiiiiiii I missed you so muchhhhhh...

Yes they were none than AvNeil who came to Metha mansion right after work and informing swetha.

Neil shockingly stares at aman but smiles seeing his love for avni..

Avni pushed aman glared him making him mutter something which Neil heard it..

Aman : uff....ladydon is back..

Neil suppress his laugh hearing aman.

Avni : what kind behaviour is this aman?

Aman : sorry Di..

Neela and dayavnti comes there and welcomes both of them.. Neil and avni hugs them and comes inside..

They all were settled in hall... Neela brought water for them.

Avni : maa where is papa?

Neela : he should be coming home..

Avni nodded her head and drank the water. They all were gossiping when Ashish made his entry.. AvNeil greeted him.. Ashish excusing himself went to fresh up.
