In Bangalore!

Neil was sleeping with smile on his face when his phone rang breaking his sleep.. he groaned and stirred in sleep... he stretched his left hand and got hold of his phone..

He brought close to his ears and spoke in tired and sleepy voice.

Neil : hello....

Neil slowly opens his eyes not hearing anything.. he brought the phone front of his eyes and got surprised seeing the caller Id.. bright smile appeared on his face.. he immediately ended the call..

He sat up leaning his head to headboard while dialling the same number for video call.. soon as he saw her face he starts smiling more widely..

Neil : good morning avni..

Avni : good morning Neil.. slept well!

Neil : I was still sleeping..

Avni : did I disturb you?

Neil : you can never disturb me.. I'm happy you disturbed my sleep... you look so fresh in the morning..

He diss looking at her who was getting ready for work.. avni smiles at him.

Avni : and you look my sleepy boy.. what have you done to yourself? Look at your messy hair.. your sleepy eyes.. this is not my boy.. is it..

Neil : my boy...

He said with with smirk making avni smirk too..

Avni : aren't you my boy like I'm your girl? Ain't you?

Neil : yes I'm your boy.. I miss you hugging you..

Avni : only few more weeks then we will be together..

Neil : I can't wait for that..

Avni : I know.. acha Neil fresh up then call me later..

Neil : okay love you.. bye!

Avni : love you too. Bye!

Neil ended the call and ruffling his hair got down the bed keeping his phone side..

He walks to cupboard and opens it.. he took his towel and clothes out. He walks to washroom to fresh up.

After half an hour later Neil comes out after freshening up while ruffling his hair..

He first got ready before calling avni.. he quickly got ready.. after getting ready he settled on bed and took his phone and saw the battery low..

Neil : oh shit. I have to charge this now..

He pulls the side drawer and took the charger out. He plugged his phone to changer and smiles remembering last night conversation with avni about their marriage.

Flashback..

Last night after tiring day Neil comes back to hotel in middle of night.. he was opening his room  door when his phone rang.. he was going to pick it but thought to get inside first then picking the call up knowing it could be avni calling him this time.

Neil quickly opens the door and got inside the his room.. he kept his things on bed and settled on left side of bed taking his phone out from his pocket..

He smiled seeing the video call.. they have promised to call each other on video rather normal call.. Neil immediately called her back and smiled seeing her smiling face...  her one smile took all his tiredness away..

Neil kept his phone on table fixing it carefully he could see her face clear..

Neil : hey!

Avni : hello Neil.. did you just come home  right now?

Neil : yes..

He replied taking out his shoes still looking on the camera..

Avni : this late.. did you tire yourself again?

Neil: what can I do? There was lots of work in police station.. I'm charge of this case so all work is load on me..

Avni : I can understand.. why don't you take shower and sleep.. you look very tired.. if you tired then we will talk tomorrow night..

Neil : no.. I'm not sleepy.. we will talk till late.. I can't sleepy without talking to you..leave about my sleep.. how was your day?  You didn't call in day time?  Were you busy?

Avni : I wasn't busy but I was working.. I couldn't get time out to call you but it's okay na.. now we will talk like every night..

Neil : yes.. if you don't mind could you wait for few minutes.. I'll be back from washroom..

Avni immediately laughed knowing what he meant but Neil ignoring her laugh got up and moves to washroom..

Neil soon back and sat back down smiling at her..

Avni : shall we continue with our talks..

Neil : oh yess..

Neil took the phone on his hand and laid down on bed spreading his legs out on bed covering with duvet..

Even avni was lying down on her bed..

Neil : now continue..

He said with giggle making her giggle too..

Avni : swetha mom called me today.. she was asking about when are we coming back?

Neil : oh acha.. I would be finished by few more weeks..

Avni : even I will be.. Neil can your believe it we will be husband and wife once we return back to Mumbai.. our marriage functions will starts.. I still can't believe it I proposed you..

Neil smiles but giggled at the end making her confuse..

Avni : why are you laughing so much? Did I say something funny?

Neil controls his laugh and looks at her face which was turning red due to anger as he was laughing at  her..

Neil : sorry baba.. don't get angry.. I'm not making fun of you.. but the proposal things made me laugh... you know that proposal was best moment of my life.. that day I got to knew there was someone who loved so unconditionally and she only belongs to me.. that was happy days for us.. we have realised how much importance our presence values for each other in our lives.. I can  never forget the way you proposed me..i can't tell you how much happy I was that time.. I really love you...

Avni was  in tears hearing him but she quickly wiped it before he could notice it..

Neil : why are you crying now? My words wasn't even emotional.. you know naaa what you mean to me.. tears doesn't suit.. leave the past and let's continue about our marriage.. how does my girl wants her marriage to be like? Do you have any special dream on your marriage...

Avni : I have always dreamed about my wedding to be grand ... I don't have other dream expect having grand wedding....

Neil : oh that's good.. if you want to grand wedding then it will be..

Like this continued talking until avni heard Neil snoring over the call.. she smiles seeing him sleeping.. she kissed her phone and muttered..

Avni : good night Neil..

Flashback ends..

Neil was thinking about last night when his phone rang.. he shook his head and picked the phone to see Meher calling him..

Neil : good morning Meher!

Meher : good morning Bhai.. did you get my message?

Neil : your message.. no I didn't. What's the message about?

Meher : I'll send it again.. actually in Mumbai we are preparing for your and Bhabhi wedding.. I have sent you few cards sample.. will you check it and tell me which you liked it.. I have sent Bhabhi too..

Neil : already preparation is going on.. don't worry I'll check it and message you back..

Meher : okay Bhai! I'll call you later.. bye!

Neil : bye..

Neil ended the call when his phone rang again with Avni's number flashing on the screen..

Neil : hello madam!

Avni : hello Neil! Did you received Meher message?

Neil : I got call from her.. she sent card pictures.. did you select it?

Avni : I really loved the last one.. what about you?

Neil : tell Meher the last one then..

Avni : but your choice?

Neil : your choice or mine is same thing.. text her back.. okay!

Avni : okay...

Neil : now I'm leaving for work as you are leaving too.. so we will talk in night..

Avni : yes! Bye Neil!

Neil : bye avni!

Neil ended the call and took car keys and his wallet shoving into his pockets..

He locking the his room door left the hotel..

In Mumbai at khanna house!

Both family was gathered up in khanna house.. Meher was waiting for Neil's or Avni's message when her phone beeped with message.. she opens it and saw Avni's message...

Meher : Bhabhi selected the card.. she loves the last one..

Ashish : what about Neil? What did he say?

Meher : Bhabhi replies back that even Bhai liked the last one..

Prakash: both have same taste.. this one is final..

All nodded their head..

In Delhi!
Avni was working in cabin when she heard knock .. she lifts her gaze and allows the person in.

Avni : Come in!

Avni looks at the  person and got surprised seeing Juhi and vidyut there...

She got up and moves to them.. she hugged vidyut then Juhi..

Avni : what a pleasant surprise? How did you both come here? I mean how did you knew I was here?

Vidyut : I called Neela aunty last night.. she told me you're in Delhi and Neil is Bangalore.. why didn't you inform us?

Avni : sorry it slipped out of my head.. I'm happy to see you both here.. how are you both?

Juhi : prefect avni.. we have some good news for you!

Avni : good news..

She looks at them when something clicked her head..

Avni : really?

Juhi : yes..

Avni : oh my god.. vidyut you're going to be father.. congrats guys.. congrats Juhi..

Avni hugs both of them and congratulated them once again..

Avni : I'm really happy for you both but vidyut you're really fast.. I mean it's hasn't been year of your marriage and you both are going to be parents..

Avni said with teasing smile on her face making Juhi blush while vidyut looked there and there.. Avni burst into laugh seeing their faces..

This short update.. third attempt I was able to write this much..

First attempt deleted around 400+words..

Second attempt deleted around 1600+ words..

Now this I have difficulty wrote this chapter..
