Next morning in khanna house!

Neil was sleeping with smile playing on his lips when his phone rang breaking his sleep.. with his closed eyes he stretched his hand and grabbed the phone from bed side table and kept behind his ears..

Neil : hello..

As he spoke  in sleepy voice he heard chuckle from other side. His sleep immediately flew away and sat on bed and brought phone front of eyes and his eyes widened open  seeing the caller Id..

Neil: Av....ni..

He stammered before picking the call up!

Neil : hello avni!

Avni : good morning Neil! Are you still sleeping?

Neil : good morning avni! No I was getting ready. Why you thought I was still sleeping?

Avni : I thought you would be sleeping because you went home late last night.

Neil : no I'm woken hour back..

Avni : okay! I called you to inform that I'm not coming station today.

Neil : why? You missed yesterday too!

Avni : I have taken day off for another two days ..

Neil : what! But why? What will I do there? I will miss you there.. can't you join for me back.

Avni : I can't Neil.. try to understand.. I'll join back after two days.. and you won't miss me because we are meeting in room after dinner. Right!

Neil : but.

Avni : no but.

Neil : hmm! But honestly I'll miss you there..

Avni : even I'll miss you. Acha maa is calling me so I'm going down ... bye love you!

Neil : bye! Love you too!

Neil hanged the phone and kept it on table and stood up. He walks to his cupboard and took his towel out and his uniform.

He then walks to washroom to fresh up.

While other side in Metha house.

Avni ending Neil'a call went down and saw Neela in kitchen making something..

Avni : maa did you call me?

Neela : yes.. i did.. since you're at home for next two days.. so I'm thinking to teach you how to cook.

Avni : cooking.. but I know how to cook.

Neela : yes I know you do but you need to learn more recipes.. this will be helpful in your in-laws house.. now don't think to much and pass yogurt ftom fridge.

Avni nodded her head and moves towards fridge and took yogurt and gave to Neela...

After passing yogurt to Neela avni stood next to Neela and watched her how she was cooking. Though she knows how to cook food but her mother stood in kitchen and watched her..

In khanna house.

Neil walks down the stairs fixing his watch on his wrist.. as he was walking down he heard some voices which made him look up and saw Meher and ananya having fun in hall with Bebe and Prakash. As usually swetha was in kitchen which made him sigh.

Neil walks to them and wished them good morning.

Neil : good morning! What's so funny?

Ananya and Meher looks at Neil and yelled his name making Neil palm his both ears and glaring at his sister who have him sheepish smile..

Neil : oh god.. why you both scream so much? My ears.. but why did you scream? It's only me not my ghost..

He said glaring both of them who stood up and walked to Neil and took him to side hug from either side.. Neil got confused by their behaviour..

Neil : did I miss something?

Ananya: no Bhai.. we are very happy!

Meher : yes Bhai very happy..

Neil : happy? Why so happy? Mind sharing reason behind your happy face?

Meher : Bhai.. you don't believe it.. but..

Ananya : no Meher you can't tell Bhai.. I'll tell him.. Bhai.. me and Meher is happy.. because..

Neil : because..

Meher : because..

Ananya: because.. Bhai you are getting married..

Neil : married.. what?

His eyes widen open hearing about his married.. he didn't even tell anyone about Avni's proposal last night then how can he get married... his mind was so confused right now..

Neil composed himself and looks at Bebe and Prakash who was smiling too..

Neil : wait up.. my wedding how? Who with? I'm so confused.. don't tell me you fixed my marriage with someone.. if yes then cancel it.. i won't marry any other girl..

Bebe : why so tillu? She is perfect you.. she likes you..

Neil : huh? When did she even see me? How can she agree to marry me? I don't even know her.

Prakash : it doesn't matter if you don't know her.. she knows you.. you will know once you marry her.. you marrying her.. that's it..

Neil : no.. I won't marry anyone..

Bebe : why?

At the same swetha comes out of kitchen and saw them.. she moves to them and got confused seeing Neil angry face and others smiling at Neil..

Swetha : what's happening here?

All looks at swetha ...

Neil : mom..how could you fix my marriage with someone who i don't even know?

Swetha : huh? What are you saying Neil? When did this happen? Bebe Prakash ji!

Neil : mom you don't know..

Swetha : no... but will you tell what are you saying..

Bebe : swetha don't ask tillu.. I'll tell you.. Neil is getting married...

Swetha : what? With who?

Bebe shook her head hearing swetha scream and looks at Prakash who shook his head too.

Bebe : stop shouting swetha... Neil has doesn't love anyone so I fixed his marriage with someone...

Neil : stop.. Bebe.. you can't fix my marriage with anyone... who said I don't love anyone.. I love avni.. always love her... Avni is my girlfriend... you can't make me marry any girl..only avni can be daughter-in-law of khanna..

As he said about avni bebe, Prakash Meher and Ananya had bright smile on their faces as they made Neil spit out.. only swetha who was shocked hearing Neil but she was happy too for her son..

Neil looks at them and saw them smiling.. he recalled what he spoke.. he immediately looked away and muttering some curse for himself..

Prakash : Neil.. what did you say? Avni is your girlfriend? Our avni? But didn't you both decided to move on.. didn't you ?

Neil : dad.. can I explain.

Prakash nodded his head.. all settled down in hall and their eyes on Neil who was gulping his saliva in fear...

Prakash : Neil.. come on  when did avni become your girlfriend?

Neil looks up and saw them curiously looking at him...

Neil : yesterday.. she proposed me last night..

He kept simple while his family was shocked and smiling.. as he said it he was squeezed by Meher and Ananya who hugged him tightly...

Ananya/ Maher : congrats Bhai!

Both of them moved away from Neil. One by one his family congratulated him..Neil looks at his family and saw them smiling..

Neil : are you guys happy?

Bebe : very happy tillu.. but I'm angry with you!

Neil : why Bebe? Now what did I do?

Bebe : why didn't you tell me this before? What shall I tell my friend? I can't even reject her..  I asked her daughter hand for you..

Neil : Bebe. You don't petty about that. I'll speak to you friend.. but I'm not marrying any other girl. I'll marry avni only.

Bebe burst into laugh along with Prakash and his both sisters making Neil and swetha confuse..

Neil : Bebe why you laughing so much?

Ananya : Bhai you didn't understand.. Bebe is joking.  There is no another girl.. no marriage fix.. actually me and Meher noticed ring in your hand as you walked down..  I had slight idea off it so I made this plan..

Neil shockingly looks at her..

Neil : seriously ananya..

Ananya : sorry Bhai!

Neil : it's okay. I forgive you this time but next time don't repeat this mistake again..

Ananya nodded her head.. all sighed and walks to breakfast table.. all were having their breakfast when ananya spoke gaining others attention..

Ananya : Bhai when are you taking me out?

Neil : Very soon!

Ananya : Bhai can you take leave in this week as next week I have to go back..

Neil : why this early? Won't stay with us?

Ananya : sorry Bhai.. I can't leave my studies for too long..

Neil : hmm..

Neil ( povs) avni is on holiday.. today is right time take them out.. even avni can join us.. first I have ask sir for my leave... That's good idea..

Neil : ananya Meher get ready around 12.. I'll take half day leave and take you both out..

Ananya : really Bhai.. Bhai can....

Neil : what you want Ananya?

Ananya : I mean.. can avni bhabhi join us.. I mean I can spend some time with her before leaving..

Neil got happy that he didn't even realise what Ananya called Avni as.. Neil hiding his smile quickly and looks at her..

Neil : but.. how can she come?

Meher : please Bhai..

Neil : okay.. I'll ask her.. happy..

Ananya/ Meher : thank you Bhai..

Neil smiles and continued eating his food..

After breakfast Neil left for police station..

At police station Neil was sitting in his cabin and thinking about last night with Avni.. a smile appeared on his face.. he took his phone out and dialled Avni's number.

Avni : hello Neil!

Neil : hey avni! Are you free right now?

Avni : yes why?

Neil : could you come to khanna house. I'll meet you there..

Avni : Khanna house why?

Neil : don't ask too much questions. Please come there..

Avni : okay.

Neil : I'll call you later then. Bye!

He  ended call and went to see commissioner sir.. he took half day leave.

After few hours later Neil left police station..

In khanna house..

Meher and ananya was sitting in hall.. elders went out so only girls at home. Both of them were talking when Ananya told Meher something..

Meher: but ananya..

Ananya: Meher lets have fun..

That the same time they heard car horn which was Neil's car.. both girls smiled looking at the door..

Neil walks in and saw them..

Neil : why aren't you guys ready?

Meher : Bhai we are waiting for you and Di to come.

Neil nodded his head..

Neil : why don't you get ready before avni comes?

Ananya : okay Bhai.. Meher lets go!

She dragged Meher with her while Neil went to his room to change.

After half an hour later all comes down and sat down waiting for avni as Neil told them that avni would be coming to khanna house..

Neil was sitting between his both sisters and talking to them when door bell rang..

Before Neil could get Meher rush to door and opens.. she smiled seeing avni there..

Meher: hey Di. Come in!

Avni passing smile to Meher comes in but seeing Neil sitting close to a girl who came to her house a week before.. she recalled how Neela said about them pairing up.. she fisted her hand and walks to them with fake smile..

Meher : Bhai di is here..

Neil looks up and saw avni.. he smiles but avni ignored him and was glaring ananya who was smirking seeing Avni's expression...

Neil stood up and moved to hug avni but stopped as he felt hand holding him back.. he turns and saw ananya holding his hand... avni angrily looks at them and marched to them pulling Neil's hand and coming front of him.. she glares ananya...

Avni : who are you?

Meher was smiling while Neil was confused but his soon his head strikes and got to knew about her being jealous...

Ananya : me.. are you asking me?

Avni : yes you.. who are you?

Neil comes in between before anything could happen.. by now he guessed it's ananya plan ...

Neil : avni.. I'll tell you who she is..

Avni : you stay out of this.. I'm talking to her.. how she hold you like that.. in my house I didn't say anything but today I won't stop..she is the same girl right who your parents wanted you to marry.. right but sorry.. Neil is mine.. he can't marry you...

As she angrily said it she heard her laughing which made her confuse while Neil slapped his head...

Ananya moves to Neil and side hugged him..

Ananya : Bhai... sorry but I wanted to see Bhabhi reaction..

AvNeil: Bhabhi!

Both of them said it at the same time and looked at each other..

Ananya : yes Bhabhi.. you both are official in relation then avni is my Bhabhi right and Bhabhi.. Neil Bhai is my bother..

Avni looks at Neil who answer who nodded his head.. avni felt guilty for shouting at her.. she immediately said sorry but Ananya hugged her saying it's okay...

Neil : okay guys should we leave now..

Meher : yes!

All then moved to out of khanna house and settled in Neil's car.. Neil took driver seat beside him was avni. Meher and ananya at backseat.. Neil starts driving and asked where they want to go.

Girls said shopping so Neil drove to mall.
