~Arita's POV~
When Arita opened her eyes, she was met with bright lights. She immediately closed her eyes and slowly opened them again, feeling her eyes adjust. When they did, she saw that she was in a hospital room, she sat up, gasping in pain as she did so and laying her head back down, looking around the room by moving her head around on her pillow. It was a white room, to her left, there was a window, large and letting in some sun. To her left, there was a curtain, and she assumed another bed was behind it. That's when it hit her.

"Kaida?!" She asked out loud, her voice horse and she let out a cough.

"Don't worry.... I'm here..."  A horse voice responded.

Arita reached over and opened the curtain, making sure she could see Kaida, feeling herself relax a bit more, "Where are we?"

"You're in one of the Ootori hospitals." A new voice, a familiar one, said and Arita looked towards the door, seeing Kyoya with some others.

"What are you guys doing here?" Kaida asked.

"We're here to see that you're okay." Hikaru started.

"What were you thinking not telling anybody?" Kaoru asked.

Arita turned her head away from them, instead looking out the window.

The next voice was Tamaki's, "How long?" He asked, his voice was low, soft, comforting.

The twins were quiet for a moment, then they both replied at the same time. "A year."

"That long?" Haruhi exclaimed loudly. "Why didn't you tell anyone?!"

The two flinched at his shouting.

"We didn't know how to." Kaida replied.

"That's no excuse." Haruhi told them both, his eyes narrowed.

"Mr. Ootori, if you would, I would like a word." A nurse said, walking up to the group, she looked at the rest of the group, "You're welcome to hear this too."

"Of course."

~Kyoya's POV~
He was led a bit further down the hall, the other's following, when they were a fair distance away the nurse turned to look at them, her face grim.

"Like you asked us to Mr. Ootori, we took a rape kit For Miss Sukejuro." She paused. "The result came up positive." Her voice was almost a whisper.

The whole host club looked at the nurse with wide eyes, in shock.

"No way." Haruhi muttered, her hands close to her mouth and her eyes wide, Kyoya watched as Tamaki placed a hand on her shoulder, comfortingly.

"What else have you found?" Kyoya asked, his voice almost cracking.

"Both have suffered some flesh injuries, Arita has suffered intense bruising from what we assume to be physical assault, kicking and punching are what they're most likely from. Kaida mostly suffered from knife wounds, some deep, some shallow. But both have stuffed an immense amount of emotional abuse as well as physical."

After she finished, the host club just stared at her in shock.

"Why?" Honey muttered. "Why would Ari-chan and Kai-chan go through all that without telling anyone." He asked.

"That explains the sudden attitude change." Hikaru commented softly.

"How long until they'll be able to leave?" Tamaki asked.

"I would say a week or two." The nurse said, "But even after their discharged they'll need to go to therapy, to help heal their emotional state."

Kyoya nodded, understanding.

"But for now, it's best to let them rest and heal."

The host club all understood that was a nice way of her telling them to leave, so the said their goodbyes and headed out of the hospital.

~Arita's POV~
Two weeks later, the twins were up and about, their emotional state has become much better, and they even managed to pull a few pranks on the nurses once in a while, and the host club had come to visit them regularly, along with Tamaki who begged them to join the host club once they return back to school.

"Hey Kaida, I was thinking that we could actually join the host club." Arita said, sitting on the edge of her bed.

"Really?" Kaida asked. "What about when they use the 'p' word?"

Arita looked at him, "You mean princess?" She asked. The word still made her uneasy, but after not hearing it for a week, she's been able to get better with it. "Maybe hearing Tamaki slip up and say it has helped me to. Hearing the word and having nothing come after, I guess it's helped."

Kaida looked at her. A smile on his face, the two have been doing that more lately, smiling. "Then I think joining the club is a wonderful idea!"

Arita smiled. "Then when they visit again, I'll tell them!"

Kaida looked at her, smiling at her enthusiasm.

In just the span of a week, the two had almost gotten back to normal, in their attitude it's just like they were a year ago, but if someone really looked in their eyes, they would see that there were some hidden emotions that they were suppressing.

A couple of hours later, it was visiting hours and the hosts had come in the room, smiles on all of their faces.

"Hey you two!" Tamaki exclaimed happily. "Merry Christmas Eve!"

The twins looked at him, They had completely forgotten it was Christmas Eve, they didn't have a calendar in the room.

"Really, it's Christmas Eve already?" Kaida asked.

"Of course it is!" Kaoru exclaimed, looking at Kaida with fond eyes. In the past two weeks, Koaru and Kaida had gotten close, he had even visited without the club, those times Arita had pretended to be taking a nap, though she heard their conversations. It was obvious that they were closer than just being friends.

"I have some good news." Kyoya said. "I was just informed that you two can leave today."

The twins perked up when Kyoya said that. "Wait, are you serious?" They asked together.

"He's right!" Tamaki exclaimed.

"I'm glad you'll be getting discharged today." Haruhi said. "It'll be nice to have you guys back."

The twins smiled, "We've been thinking." Kaida started.

"And we've decided." Arita continued.

"To join the host club!" They exclaimed together.

Tamaki looked at them in some shock, after a second, sparkles seemed to fly around him and he embraced the two, squealing like a little kid. "Yay! I have another daughter and a new son!" He exclaimed.

"Another daughter?" Arita asked, feeling Tamaki freeze up.

"Um... Well."

"I don't see why we should still hide it from them Senpai. They'll find out sooner or later." Haruhi said. Then she looked at the twins, a soft smile on her face. "You see, I'm actually a girl."

The twins looked at her, some shock on their faces as they stared at Haruhi. After a minute, they recovered, small smiles appearing on their faces. "That's good to know." Kaida said.

"Well, I think we should leave and let them get ready to go." Kyoya said, "We'll be out in the waiting room."

The twins smiled and watched as they left, and about a minute later, two nurses walked in and helped them get ready to leave.
