Chapter 4

Second chapter of the day! Hope you all enjoy and had an awesome Christmas!!

~Kaida's POV~
After school that day, the twins decided to head to the library to search for a new book.

"How about this one?" Kaida asked, holding up another mystery novel. "It's about mass murder."

"We just read a mystery novel." Arita responded blandly. "I was thinking a Sci-Fi." She grabbed a book from the shelf and showed him it. "It's about people with wings."

Kaida nodded, putting the mystery book back. "Let's get that one."

The two walked over to the librarian and checked out the book. Kaida placed the book in his bag and walked out of the library besides Arita. As they were walking down the hallway, two pairs of hands grabbed onto them, casing both of to jump in fear.

"Did we scare you?" Two voices asked.

"Of course not." Arita and Kaida replied, looking back at the two with identical emotionless faces.

"What do you want?" Kaida asked.

"We want you two to come to the host club! We think it would be a great experience for you two." Hikaru exclaimed with a smile.

"We'll pass." Arita said. "I don't see the appeal of having boys hand out fake love." she turned away. "Not when that...word... Is used." She added that part in a whisper, only loud enough for Kaida to hear.

"Now if you'll excuse us. We'll be heading off." Kaida said, grabbing onto Arita's hand and walking away beside her.

"Please at least give the host club a try." Koaru pleaded.

"No. The girls who fall for your tricks are foolish and idiotic." Arita told him, staring blankly ahead of her.

Kaida heard Hikaru scoff. "They're worse than we were, I don't think this game will have a winner."

"Hikaru!" Kaoru exclaimed. "Don't say that, everyone has a chance!"

"Not these two. Their world seems smaller than ours was." His voice started to fade, he must be walking away. "If you ask me, the prince and princess can stay the way they are for all I care."

~Kaoru's POV~

"Hikaru!" Kaoru exclaimed. "Don't say that, everyone has a chance!" He looked at his brother, watching as he turned around and started to walk away.

"Not these two. Their world seems smaller than ours was." He stopped, "If you ask me, the prince and princess can stay the was they are for all I care."

Kaoru saw the two in front of him flinch, and watch their hands tighten around each other's.

"Our fault..." Arita's voice drifted into his ears.

"Your fault?" Koaru asked, turning away from Hikaru and taking a step towards the two. "What do you-"

"It's none of your business." Kaida said, turning and looking at Koaru with an unreadable expression on his face, even though it was mostly blank, there was a hint of some emotion on his face. He moved his head in a way that Koaru could see the bandages on his neck, but before he could say something, the two walked off and headed out of the school.

"You coming, Kaoru?" Hikaru called out.

"Yeah." Kaoru said, a bit distracted. He turned back and followed Hikaru to music room #3

"You look like you've seen a ghost." Hikaru observed.

"The Sukejuro twins, there's something up with them."

"Of course there is. They're creepy and anti-social, have been since last year."

"No... That's not it. Those bandages they had on their necks were not a fashion sense."

"What do you mean?"

The two entered the club room, seeing the hosts already in there.

"Are they with you two?" Tamaki asked, coming up to them with sparkles around him.

"No." Hikaru said. "They aren't coming."

"Aw, Ari-chan and Kai-chan aren't coming?" A child-like blond boy, Honey said. "That's too bad."

"Yeah." A tall man with black hair, Mori, agreed.

"Did they happen to say why?" Kyoya asked, pushing up his glasses.

"I don't even see why we need them in the club. I mean, we have a wait list of all these guys begging to join. So why just let these two in so easily?" Hikaru asked.

The sparkles around Tamaki had faded, and he became serious. "There's something about those two that I want to uncover. I've been noticing things about them when I pass them in the hallways and when I talk to them. In a way, they're like you before you two opened up. But, something's different about them."

"Senpai?" Haruhi asked. "What are you talking about?"

"Haven't you noticed how Arita acts whenever the word princess is said around her?" Tamaki asked.

"Wow. So you're smarter than you look boss." The twins said.

"But..." Kaoru started. "When Hikaru called both of them prince and princess, I noticed that both of them flinched. And Arita said something. 'Our fault'."

"I have a feeling something is going on that we don't know of." Tamaki muttered. "Maybe it has something to do with that happened last year..."

"I presume you're right for once." Kyoya said, drawing the attention to himself. "In a way, I observed the same things you did. That's why I've already made a plan."

"One step ahead of all of us, as always Kyoya-Senpai." Haruhi muttered, unamused.

"I try." Kyoya said with a smirk.

~Kaida's POV~
When the two got home, they went directly upstairs, Arita got on the bed and watched as Kaida walked over to their dresser, opening up their sock drawer and taking something out, a sleek gray laptop and a pair of earbuds.

Every time their parents left, it was a time for the two to relax. Be worry free, and able to do their own thing. Kaida walked over to the bed and laid down on his stomach, Arita doing the same next to him, her arm brushing his, she grabbed the left earbud and stuck it in his ear while he grabbed the right one, plugging the earbuds into the laptop.

Kaida pulled up their music album, and pressed play, music entering their ears, relaxing them both.

After a couple songs, Kaida looked over at Arita, seeing that instead of the usual blank look on her face, there was a small hint of a smile, and her eyes were closed peacefully, her head resting on her arm.

Suddenly the doorbell went off, alerting both of the twins. Kaida paused the music and took the earbud out of his ear, Arita did the same. Cautiously, they walked out of the room and went to the outlook over the stairs. It was at an angel that anyone who was at the door couldn't see them, but the twins could see everything that was happening below them.

"May I ask who you are?" The head servant, Miyu, asked, looking at a girl who seemed a couple years older than the twins.

"Oh, of course. I'm the new maid, I'm Suko Kimi."

"Oh, of course, we were notified by your arrival, let me give you a tour of the house."

"Thank you."

"It's my pleasure."
