------------------------------
The next day, the twins were sitting in the lunch room, sharing food while reading the novel they had gotten the day before.
"Hello prince and princess!" Someone shouted, causing Arita and Kaida to flinch, swiftly grabbing onto each other's hands.
"Our fault." She whispered, just loud enough for Kaida to hear.
Kaida looked up, holding her hand tightly, seeing the blond haired fool that bothered them almost every week, saying he was trying to get them out of their shell, he does a terrible job at it, it's obvious that the word 'princess' is something that causes Arita to think of their father. And the word 'prince' reminds him of their mother.
"Please go away Tamaki." He said, looking at him through emotionless eyes.
Tamaki placed his hand to his chest, making a dramatic pose. "How hurtful, your words put daggers in my heart!"
"Are you done eating, Arita?"
"Yes." Her voice was barely a whisper.
"Then let's go." Kaida helped his sister up and led her out of the lunch room passing a sobbing Tamaki on the way, leading her outside, where they sat under the tree, letting her head lean on his shoulder as he opened the novel to the page they were on.
After a while, the bell rang, signifying the end of lunch. The two got up and headed back to their classroom, sitting in their seats, watching as the teacher walked in the room.
After classes that day, the two got ready to leave, starting to Head out when they were confronted by the other twins.
"What do you want?" Kaida asked.
"We want you two to go to the host club!" Koaru exclaimed.
"Now, we don't usually offer our services to princess's like Arita here, we could find something for you." Hikaru said.
Arita's hand moved to Kaida's when she heard the word princess. "Please don't say that word around her." He said, his usual emotionless voice had a hint of protectiveness.
The twins seemed taken aback, and Kaida pulled Arita past them, and he headed out of the school, only to be confronted by the one and only Tamaki.
"We're only trying to help you two out of your shells, the world's not as scary as you think it is!"
"If only you knew..." Kaida said under his breath. "We have to go." He turned to leave, "Mother and Father are expecting us."
"Of course." Arita whispered, letting her brother lead her out of the school.
"Wait! Please, just come to the host club!" Tamaki shouted behind them.
The twins didn't respond, instead they walked out of the school and headed inside their limo, heading home.
When they got home, they entered the house.
"Your parents will get you later." The maid said, pity in her voice.
The twins just walked past her and headed up to their room, silently sitting on their bed until their mother came in for Kaida.
~Kaida's POV~
--Mention of Blood--
"Now... Now my prince, why don't we... We have a little *hic* fun?" Kaida's mother asked, holding a knife in her hand.
Kaida flinched at the venom in her voice when she said prince, he stood still as she lunged towards him, ripping off his jacket and pulling open his shirt, seeing the bandages and smiling.
"Aww, looks like you've... You've bandaged yourself up!" She let out a high pitched laugh, bringing the knife down on his side, causing Kaida to let out a shout of pain.
After a couple slashes of the knife, he could feel blood running down his chest. A couple tears ran down his cheeks. He suddenly felt a sharp pain on his neck, and felt blood run down from his neck to his chest.
"Oh dear, that one may of been a bit... Bit *hic* risky!" But don't worry. I...I wouldn't hurt that pretty little face of yours. Now get out of my sight."
"Yes mother." That earned another slice to his chest.
"Don't you call me that... You disgrace." She slurred.
Kaida nodded and walked out of the room, hurrying to the other one, where his sister was. When he entered, he found her on the bed, some cuts on her bruised and scarred stomach, there were also some scars on her neck, and she was staring blankly at the ceiling, her cheeks wet from the tears falling from her eyes.
"Let's get you washed up." He muttered.
--Section over--
After the bath, Kaida wrapped his sister's wounds, making sure to be careful not to hurt her. After she was bandaged up, he rewrapped his, adding some to his neck, looking at himself in the mirror. "I hope I can cover this up with my uniform tomorrow..." He muttered. He walked out of the bathroom and grabbed his and Arita's pajama's and walked back into the bathroom, where she hadn't moved from the edge of the bathtub.
After he changed, and helped Arita in her nightgown, he led her to the bed, tucking her under the covers and getting on his side of the bed, again grabbing not her hand.
"Our fault." She whispered.
"Quiet. It wasn't our fault, Arita, now sleep. Tomorrow will be better." He said this to her every night, it seemed to calm her down a bit, like expected, her hand relaxed around his and her breathing slowed.
After a while, Kaida fell asleep too.
The next morning, the two were woken up by one of the servants.
"Your parents went on a business trip, they should be back in a week." She said.
Kaida couldn't help but feel relived. They didn't have to worry about any abuse for a week. But, that means it will be extra painful when they get back.
"Arita, wake up. It's time for school." He whispered, nudging his sister awake.
She blinked open her eyes, and sat up, rubbing them.
"Your uniforms are over by the dresser. Breakfast will be ready for you when you come downstairs."
"Thank you." The twins said together.
When she left, the twins got out of bed, undressing from their pajamas. When they got it off, their bandages were soaked in blood, but luckily, none of it had gotten to their pajamas.
"Come here, I need to change your bandages."
Arita looked at him, getting out of bed slowly and headed over to him.
Kaida went into the bathroom and grabbed some bandages. Slipping off Arita's nightgown, he started to unravel the blood stained bandages and rewrapped the wounds with new ones, making sure to carefully wrap her neck, as to not hurt her.
After he finished with her, he sent her off to get changed, and started to do himself. When he was finished, he walked out of the bathroom and changed into his uniform, buttoning up his shirt. He slipped on his jacket and walked back into the bathroom, grabbing his tie and tiring it around his neck, looking at himself in the mirror.
"The collar's not big enough." He muttered. He could still see his bandages just above his collar, though, it wasn't much, it was still enough for even a dimwit like Tamaki to notice.
"Kaida. My bandages can be seen." Arita said, standing in the doorway.
"Mine too. Let's just be careful today." He said, walking over to her and grasping her hand. "Shall we head downstairs?"
Arita nodded and Kaida headed downstairs.
A while after he got settled, Arita was sliding in her seat next to his, looking around at the table.
"Where's Mother and Father?"
"They're on a business trip, they won't be home for a week."
Arita made a sound of agnolwdgement, and they started to eat, leaving for school after they had finished.
