Eliza woke up early, brushed her teeth and got dressed an hour before the school opened. She couldn't wait for school today. For today was her sixteenth birthday! And for her sixteenth birthday she'd get to find out who her soulmate it! The person she's meant to be with for the rest of her life! The thought of it made her blush and smile. She pictured the man, handsome, and maybe rich if she was lucky. She laughed, knowing she didn't need money to be happy. (Her family was wealthy, so it didn't quite matter the wealth of her future husband.)

She wore a pink crop top hoodie, with jeans. Today was Wednesday, and she always wore pink on Wednesdays! (It was a tradition at her school, one of the school colors was pink.) She put her laptop and headphones in her backpack, along with notebooks and pencils. She looked down at her ring finger, seeing the red string of fate. Eliza looked at it, examining it. It was a deep red, tied around her finger. It was weird because she couldn't really feel it. Eliza was determined to follow it, where ever it led to. She went into the bathroom, and brushed her hair. Her hair was long and deep brown. Eliza always thought of putting streaks in it, but her family wouldn't like that very much. After she did her hair, she went into the living room to see what her siblings were doing. Eliza has three younger sisters, Caroline, who is 14, Tamara who is 12, and Isabella, who is only 6. Her mother was going to have another baby soon, and Eliza couldn't wait. Her father, of course, wanted a boy, and her mother didn't care what the gender was.

Eliza sat down in front of the TV, where all her other siblings were accept Isabella. Isabella was still sleeping, thank goodness. Her sisters were still in their pajamas, but she didn't mind. They all watched some TV game show. It was kind of a blur to Eliza, she couldn't wait until she could get to school!
