(Monster au)

Toms pov:

familiar music blasted through the speakers.
I tuned my guitar to a similar style and instantly matched the beat. Murmuring the lyrics until the chorus where I yelled out the lyrics.
I didnt care if I was interrupting the others with it. What could they be doing thats so important?
I kept going until the final note and smiled to myself.
I had a mini Happy moment and laughed. I placed my guitar on the side of my bed, and left the room to go down stairs. Soon I was greeted by an asleep Matt and an Edd making himself a sandwich. He turned to me and grinned.
"You sure are getting more confident with those songs aren't you?" He said. With a hint of pride in his eyes. Well it was almost impossible to see due to how they glowed green. You see all the household were weird creatures. More like monsters. One a vampire, one an angel on a monster and there was another who was a devil. But he left.
Matt stirred and looked up. "What's up guys?"
Edd and I looked at him and laughed.
"Wanna go out for food?"
He nods furiously and jumps up. Straightening his hair and grabbing a lilac hoodie and hat.
I laughed again as Edd copied in a mocking manner.

Soon we were all outside with everything we needed. I shivered as the cold air hit my arms. The sleeves of my hoodie were torn from my many random shifts where I had literally no control.
We headed to the car and all climbed in. I always sat in the back. Even if I could sit in the front. Well not when Im driving but you know.
And we set off.

All of us got out the car. I was last again. We made our way to the nearest fast food place for Edd and I. Matt would have to go and commit a crime. Murder to be exact. So he could eat.
I waved good bye to Matt before I walked into some one. A girl. She was quite tall and seemingly uncomfortable.
I backed away slowly. "Uh sorry miss.  Didn't mean to walk into you." she looked up and shrugged.
"Eh its okay. Especially if its a guy as hot as you." She winked at the end and I felt very uncomfortable.  I saw Matt watching. He seemed content on getting her now. I nodded to him and smiled at her.
"Wanna hang out?" I asked. Trying not to be that obvious.
She smirked. "Sure. Whats your name?"
"Im Tom."
"Hot. Im Nevaeh."
I laughed slightly and both of us made our way into the nearest park. It was oldy silent and if I wasn't used to it by now it could even be unsettling. Nevaeh gripped onto my arm and I slightly squeezed in to comfort her. She looked at me and smiled as we neared a bench.
Matt was behind us. I picked the bench most in the dark and alone... She wouldn't see it coming....
Bam.
Matt leaped out from behind us. Giving me a shock aswell.
Nevaeh screamed and kicked about until his fangs met her throat and he bit down. I watched in slight horror. He wouldn't need to feed for a few days after this. Meaning a happier Matt but a scarred me.

Soon she stopped flailing and went limp. I started to leave before Matt glared up at me. His eyes glowing red. He wasn't full...
I yelped as he leapt at me. I clawed him off and began to sprint. Matt chased after me. Almost catching up.
Soon I felt my body change and then I was on all fours.  Charcoal claws scraping the dirt underneath me. My tail whipping Matt's face if he got to close. Soon we were in the streets.
People freaked out at the sight of a purple monster and a Vampire fighting. I bet they havent actually saw one of either before. Unless they read alot of fiction novels.
So soon there was a lot of commotion.
In the end Matt had tired out and was lying on the floor. Despite my instinct to run I sat around him. Keeping him safe from the curious on lookers. Some little kids were playing around my tail. I let them as they weren't hurting anyone. Soon teenagers were posing for selfies beside me. I just growled a bit. And then adults were there. Trying to take Matt. I growled at them loud and clear when they reached for him. They always flinched away. I kept glaring at the parents who looked very judgemental. So what if their kids wanted to stroke the big fluffy monster? I don't bite. Hard. Well not hard enough to draw blood. Maybe. I lifted one claw filled hand? Or paw I dont know. And let it sit on Matts side. He would stay here even if it meant we didn't go home. I lifted my head a bit and saw a familiar brunette. Edd. He ran over and I let him curl up next to matt and I. The other adults were confused.  Some even jealous. Edd looked at Matt.
"Im guessing he tired himself out? "
I nodded. The worst thing about being monster was you couldn't speak. Only growl bark and whine.

Later on the crowds started to fade away. Only the adults concerned for Matt and Edd were remaining. I let them get closer. Flicking my tail so symbolise Permission being granted. One of them crouched beside the now sleeping edd and wiped the hair away from his face. He looked at me and smiled. Knowing I was keeping them safe. I nodded to him and looked up at the other people.  One crouched infront of me. I let it carefully stroke my face. I made a slight purring noise. One or two of the others were filming it. Well now Ima be an internet star. The purple monster! Saving two people from other people since what ever day it was. Edd stirred.
The people soon started the questions.
"What is that thing?" "Is it real?"
Edd looked at me and ruffled my fur.
"Yes he is real. And I think hes a.... What do you call it... Søtvier? I think. A lilac søtvier to be exact. Yeah thats it."
"A lilac Søtvier hm? If translated into english means lilac nightshade... And that is... A very rare creature believed to be a myth. . no one has really saw it before properly. How long have you had him?"
"I wouldn't say we have him.  he lives beside us... And we've had him half our lives.. And Im 28 right now.. So more than 14 years."
"According to the legends the søtvier can take any form to protect themselves as camouflage. "
"That is true.. Would you like to see it?"
The person nodded.
Edd turned to me and nodded carefully. I blinked and stood up. A young woman running to Matts side to drag him up a little bit.
I soon let myself change back. Before I was sitting there. Half form. I still cant talk but I can do anything else.
Everyone was shocked.
"Ive saw some one like that before... Was that him?!"
Edd shrugged.
I smirked. Probably was you know.
I allowed myself to shift to human form and cleared my throat. I soon made my way to Matts still exhausted body and took it from the lady. She looked at me carefully and then asked something that shattered me.
"Are you sure hes not gonna kill this poor man?"
I carefully placed Matt down and growled a long loud way. Shifting back and soon prowling around her. Continuing the growl. Edd rushed over. "Tom calm down!"
I glared at him for a second before closing in on the woman. She was utterly scared and started to tremble. I slowly let my growl turn into a snarl and showed her my set of sharp teeth. They were perfect for killing and tearing meat. I flexed my claws and headed even closer. Soon I would leap in for the kill. The woman obviously knew this as she began to freak out. Edd began to stride towards me and pull on my tail. I growled very loudly and flicked my tail. Sending hin flying into another direction. The woman started to plead. "Please dont... Please dont kill me.. I have a family.  Children and a husband... I cant die..  They need Me." My ears flicked up and i lifted my head. I leapt at her. Grasping her arm. The right one to be exact. I shook her and caused Edd to run over and leap at me. Causing me to let go but taking a chunk of the womans arm with me. I smirked behind the flesh I held and I knew she could see it. Edd reached for it to hopefully give her a chance to recover. But I had already swallowed. Snapping at his hand even though he would only want to help. Soon Edd had dragged me to the floor by gripping onto my horns and pulling me down with force.
I lay down as Edd soon let go and ran to the woman. Getting the others to call and ambulance.
"Hes never did this before... Why now?" he seemed to say to himself over and over again.
I started to pant. It was getting warm. Then I realised what was going on. Thick leathery wings covered me. I couldn't see but I heard sirens and police men yelling at someone to back away from the 'thing.' that word hurt me to hear. I started to slowly get up. My legs shaking from not using them. The were numb. I stumbled as I slowly made my way out of the wing fortress.  I never did look at who it was. I only stumbled forward and stared at the police. Holding in a snarl. Edd was being held back by one and Matt was being stared at my some sort of scientist. I slowly made my way over to the force and sat before them. Keeping my head high to show I was the superior race here. One of the force pulled out a chunk of meat and I immediately was alert. Food always tricked a monster or animal. They slowly took it to the container Matt was lying in. They placed it beside him to see what I do. I slowly got up and, still staring at the force, made my way over and swifly swallowed it. Then the doors slammed shut. Damn it. It was a trick. I yowled and leapt at the door. Scraping at it and howling. I started to wreck the place. Spilling containers and tearing papers. The vehicle wasn't moving and soon the door flew open and two limp bodies were thrown in. Both with wings. One angel and one devil. The people outside stared at me and the mess. Before I knew it a sharp pain hit my thigh.  Dart guns always catch them don't they...

I woke up when the vehicle was moving I had my tail wrapped around Matt. Who seemed to be snuggled into my fur. He was cold. And I was warm. Oh well. I yawned and stood up. Walking matt. I lifted him up carefully between my jaws and carried him to the others. Laying him beside them. I stared at the surroundings. So clean and organised. I growled to myself as the sharp pain of hunger hit me. I clawed at the walls and rammed into the door. Waking up the three almost human people.  I flinched as an ice cold hand gripped my shoulder. I swung my head up and saw a familiar face. But not familiar? I let my one eye soften.
He was the one that left.
