It's true he couldn't prove that the crumb was fake, so he tried to explain.

"Dino, what I'm about to tell you might sound insane, but it is 100% true."

"WHAT, THAT YOU'RE A MURDERER?!"

"..."

Socks paused for a moment considering what Dino had just said, and responded with,

"It wasn't on purpose, but somet-"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT WASN'T ON PURPOSE?! YOU CAN'T KILL SOMEONE ON ACCIDENT!"

"CAN I JUST SPEAK AND EXPLAIN!?!"

"N,-"

He stopped mid sentence and noticed how Sock's eye had turned black when he had last blinked. This is what he wanted to say, wasn't it?

"Umm.. Socks?"

"WHAT?"

Socks was clearly very angry, but Dino still wanted to know what the heck was going on.

"Your eye.. it's.. black.."

"WELL IF YOU WOULD LISTEN, I COULD'VE TOLD YOU ABOUT THAT!"

"Well, then tell me now."

Socks sighed, and explained.

"Last night, my eye turned black like it is now. Then this black, thick liquid came rolling down my cheek from my eye. My spit also turned black. I think it has to do with the medicine I had yesterday because enderman bites don't do this! And neither do blazes."

"And that is all you remember?"

"Yep. Nothing else."

"Well, so you don't 'accidentally' kill anyone else, I think you should go in the jail until this stuff goes away."

"Good idea.. I never wanted to do that to Muffin in the first place, let alone think about doing that."

The two of them started to leave when Socks froze mid step. He heard voices coming from the corners of the room. Is this a side effect?! This didn't happen last night! They were saying,

"He knows to much, kill him before he tells everyone."

They sounded grim and raspy, and they sounded like they had experience with this. Socks didn't listen and kept walking, but at a faster pace.

"If he tells everyone else, they will hate you forever. You have to do it for your own good."

Socks still tried to ignore them.

"Quick, EXECUTE HIM! GET REVENGE FOR ALL THE WRONGDOINGS HE HAS DONE TO YOU!"

Socks stopped in thought. Why are these voices here? And why do they want me to kill Dino?!

"If he tells everyone else, think about what would happen to you. What would happen if you were gone from this world. What would your friends do if they figured out that their closest friend.. was a monster."

Socks thought for a moment more. What would happen?

"Ay, Socks are.. you okay?"

Dino realized that Socks wasn't behind him, but didn't bother to turn around just yet. Then as soon as Dino finished his sentence, a black tentacle with a piercing end missed his head by an inch. It was impaled into the wall with what seemed to be a lot of force. Dino was shocked by what just happened and stared at the tentacle. Then, he slowly turned around. Standing behind him was Socks, but it wasn't really him anymore.

Both of his eyes were black, and both of his pupils were slits, and red. His mouth was shaped into a viscous smile, and his teeth were as sharp at knifes. His fingers were pointed, and the same black liquid from before ran up his arms to his elbows. In the middle of his suit was a mouth with a piercing tougue, just like in the footage. It had monstrous, sharp teeth too. Dino then glanced back up to his face, Socks was making eye contact with him. And, something Dino didn't see before, was a symbol on Sock's cheek. It looked like an X with an extra line in the middle. Socks creepily said in a low, echoing voice,

"I can't let you go telling everyone just yet."

Dino tried to run, but couldn't. He had locked the door when they came in so no one could come in when talking about the murder with Socks, just in case others actually knew about this place. Dino tried to unlock it, and he did. But as Dino was about to open the door, a tentacle punched through the lock, and the door was broken. He clearly wants to make this as scary as it can be. Socks then slowly started to approach Dino. His mouth was still in the same shape it was in before, it hadn't moved.

"PLEASE! LET ME GO!"

"Why would I? If I let you go, everyone would know I'm a monster. And it's not even my fault. WHEN YOU THINK IT IS! IT'S MEME'S FAULT FOR TELLING M-"

Socks stopped mid sentence. Dino had now just noticed that Sock's teeth never moved, and that every time he spoke a red light came from his mouth as well. His lips only ever moved to close his mouth, to frown, and to make a smile. They also only moved when he was talking. But Socks paused because he seemed to be in thought.

"It"s.. Meme's fault.. it's Meme's fault.. it's Meme's fault!!"

As Socks was talking to himself, Dino heard all of it and escaped as quietly as he could since the Monster seemed to be in a trance. Dino then booked it back to where everyone usually is. As he was doing this, Socks transformed back into himself. He then saw the dents in the walls. What did I do?! He then heard Dino's footsteps coming from outside. Socks ran as fast as he could towards Dino, saying as best as he could,

"DINO! DINO PLEASE! WHATEVER I DID, I DIDN'T MEAN IT!"
