"No!"

"Baby please, we have to do this. Now is not the time to protest!"

"No! Lulu not here so I not perform!"

The entirety of NCT were preparing for an NCT Nation concert.

Every member from every subunit was here, and they were set to go on stage in less than thirty minutes.

However, Hendery was little.

And boy was he angry.

"Hendery...please...just finish getting ready and we can talk about this after!"

"No! Leave me alone!"

Ten stood inside of Hendery's dressing room, trying to console him.

The little had a tough time ever since one of his caregivers left.

Not being able to see Lucas physically was hard on him. Hendery is a very clingy little, and he was missing his most important person.

Some of the others came in, wanting to help.

"Hendery, can we talk?", Xiaojun asked.

"Why?"

"Because...", Chenle started, "I feel like we need to."

Hendery turned to face them.

"Why Lulu not here?", he asked.

"Baby, sometimes people leave because they have to. But...that doesn't mean you'll never see him again. You talk to him all the time.", Ten said.

"But...Lulu said he be here today! Why he lie to me Tennie?"

Ten hugged him, and relieved a tight hug back.

"I don't know baby."

"But look on the bright side...you have us!", WinWin said, holding hands with Kun and Yangyang.

Hendery sat down in his chair.

"He not want me anymore. A-and that why he not come. That why he left too! To get away from me..."

The little began to cry, instantly being hugged by the other members of WayV, Chenle, and Jisung (who somehow got convinced to come in there).

"Hey hey, don't cry. And don't believe that stuff. He wanted you. He fought to stay with us for you.", YangYang told him.

"You sure?", Little Hendery said through tears.

"We are.", Jisung added, "We wouldn't lie to you."

Hendery wiped his eyes.

"You wouldn't lie to me? But...you did!"

"When?", Ten asked.

"When I came home from the dance hall! I ask where Lulu went, because I want play games wiv him! And you say he went to store! But he never come back!"

The members looked at one another.

"You lie! You just want me to go dance! I not want to dance! Not without Lulu!", he cried louder.

He covered his face.

"What do we do?", Kun asked, "He is very upset."

"And where the hell is Lucas? He knows Hendery was counting on him today.", Chenle also asked.

"I don't know. But Hendery is refusing to perform without him and we have a little over twenty minutes to show time.", WinWin answered.

The members tried to think.

Meanwhile, a few blocks down the road.

A certain person was waiting in traffic to reach the venue.

"Come on, come on...", Lucas said, tapping the wheel of his car, "I'm gonna be late!"

His phone rang, and he picked if up quickly.

"Hello?"

"Where in the h, e, double hockey sticks are you?!", Ten yelled.

"Stuck in traffic. I'm a few blocks down."

"Lucas we are in deep crap over here. Hendery is little."

"Oh no..."

"And even worse. He is refusing to perform without you here! We have twenty minutes until time!"

"I don't know what to do man! I'm stuck in traffic and we don't seem to be moving."

"Figure something out please! We need him for this. And he needs you."

Ten hung up the phone.

Lucas sat there, looking at the cars ahead.

"He needs me...my baby needs me..."

He unbuckled his seat belt, opened the door of his car and got out.

Spotting a man on the sidewalk, he walked over to him.

"Excuse me sir, how much to watch my car for a few hours?"

The man looked him up and down.

"One thousand."

"Got it."

Lucas pulled out all of the money in his wallet.

"I'll give you an extra one thousand when I get back. Thank you sir!"

He handed the man the money and ran off towards the venue.

Hendery was being hugged by Ten and Jisung, as he kept crying.

Time was counting down and it was almost fifteen minutes to show time.

When hope was almost lost, the dressing room door flew open.

"Baby boy! I'm here!"

Hendery looked up to see Lucas.

The little stood up, and the tears continued to pour as he ran into his caregivers arms.

"Lulu!", he cried.

"I'm so sorry i'm late baby. But you know I wouldn't miss this."

"I-i thought you not want see me anymore."

Lucas pulled away from the hug.

"Baby boy, I would never not want to see you. You've been everything to me since the day you first showed up."

Hendery wiped his eyes again.

"Oh my poor baby. I never meant to make cry. I'm so sorry for everything. But look. And listen very closely."

Hendery looked into his eyes.

"I've made a decision. A very big one. But after today, I'm ready to deal with any consequences."

"What decision Lulu?"

Everyone listened in.

"I'm coming back and staying. I found a house out here...not too far from the company."

Hendery's eyes widened.

"You...you stay Lulu?"

"Yes...I'm staying."

Everyone cheered, piling onto Lucas.

Hendery kissed all over his face.

"Now, don't you have a show to do?", Lucas said from under the members.

Hendery stood up.

"Yes! We do show! For Lulu!"

The members clap, and push Hendery to finish his outfit.

Lucas was dragged off by Chenle, who showed him off to the other members.

Soon, it was showtime.

As everyone walked out on stage, Hendery looked out at the audience.

Sitting in the front row, was Lucas. A smile plastered on his face.

Just seeing his caregiver there, Hendery knew it would all be okay.

He didn't have to cry anymore.

He didn't have to be sad.

Because where he was now, he was with family.

He was with, after all the time, all of NCT.
