6 weeks later🫶🏾.

"good morning" i said.

"morning.. uh where you going ?" my sister asked.

"to the gym with juju. it's been 6 weeks and i gotta start getting my body back right" i said.

"hey pretty girl" kp cooed as she took her out of my arms.

a few minutes later i heard a knock on the door.

"come in" a'ja said and juju walked in. she was wearing her workout attire and her hair was in a bun.

"hey guy" she said kissing my cheek.

"hey girl." they said.

"aww hey big girl" juju said as she picked up journey. she giggled and pinched juju's cheeks making me smile.

"you ready ??" juju asked me.

"yeah i guess" i said exhaling as jackie took her out of juju's arms.

i already know this workout session finna be h*ll. and juju the one who's training me ?? and we all know she hardcore.

"bye baby girl" i said kissing journey's cheek.

"say bye mama" jack said.

"why does it seem like you don't wanna do this ?" juju asked as we walked to her car.

"bcus it's my first day back and i already know you're gonna be hardcore" i said getting into the passenger seat.

"im not that hard baby. be fr" she said laughing.

"you are tho. but im excited to be able to get back in the gym and play basketball" i said and she nodded.

we got to the gym and we stretched first. when i was done we started on the treadmill. and when this thing sped up it wasn't for the weak lol.

we moved on to bench presses. doing 3 sets of 20 cus ofc juju hardcore.

"good job mama" she said high fiving me.

"thank you" i smiled.

after that we did 3 sets of 20 squats, lunges, pushups, mountain climbers, and sit ups.

we spent almost 3 hours at the gym and then we decided to head home.

"how you feel ?" she asked looking at me and then back at the road.

i mugged her and then looked out my window. definitely gonna be sore tomorrow.

"you did so good baby." she said.

"thank you" i mumbled.

we stopped at wingstop to get food and then headed home to shower.

"hey how was your workout ???" a'ja asked.

"h*ll" i mumbled.

"don't worry it's gonna be so worth it when yo body get back right" my sister said and i nodded.

i walked to my room and took a hot shower. after showering i walked back into the kitchen.

"hi baby.. you been good ?" i asked journey as she grabbed my finger and giggled.

"your so perfect my baby" i said.

"rayah said when are you gonna bring the baby to practice ?" juju said.

"probably tomorrow, my first practice back is friday" i said and she nodded.

i just got done being on maternity leave and the team hasn't met journey yet.

"so she's only 6 weeks but it's like she's not gaining weight" a'ja said.

"yeah i took her to the doctor and they mentioned that it was gonna take a little longer for her to actually gain weight" i said.

"she's happy and healthy tho and that's all that matter" juju said and we nodded.

a'ja rocked her back and fourth as she tried to grab one of her wings.

"aht no" i said lightly grabbing her little hand. she stared at me and i saw the little pout.

"aww omg she's about to cry" jack said sadly. her eyes filled with tears and she started crying.

"see you done made my baby cry" juju said making me look at her confused.

"aww no don't cry.. baby you cannot have wings yet" i cooed to her.

"my poor baby. didn't you pump earlier ??" jack asked holding her and i nodded.

"let's go get you sum milk baby girl" jack said.

"crybaby ahh" i said.

"girl don't dtm. you shouldn't have made her cry" kp said.

"all i did was move her hand and tell her she can't eat wings yet" i said.

"well still you made her cry so".

"yall really fake" i said.

"hey mama" I said bending down to kiss her.

"hey can you watch her while i go shower ?" she asked.

"ofc take your time" i told her gently rocking her.

"hi princess" i said making her giggle. i just love her so much. her little giggles, her smile, everything.

i put it on mickey mouse cus she loves it. i watched as she rested her head on my chest and she peacefully watched mickey mouse.

i took some cute photos and videos cus i want her all over my camera roll lol.

"yes please" i said.

"okay i just put them in the oven. i can take her you look exhausted" she said.

"no i got her" i said quickly smacking her hand away.

"dang my bad" she said giggling.

"anyways im gonna bring her to practice tomorrow so the team can't meet her" she said scrolling on her phone and i nodded.

i lightly patted her back cus she just fell asleep. one thing about journey is she gone gts. iktr cus i love me a good ole nap too.
