"bae wya ?" i said walking into her apartment.

"bathroom im almost done" she said back and i walked into the kitchen and sat down.

jada is now 6 months and she has a doctors appointment to check on baby bean. a few minutes later she walked out making me giggle cus she has a little waddle now.

"sb get this baby out of me already" she said making me laugh.

"sorry i took so long, my hair would not cooperate" she said.

"you good. you ready ?" i asked and she nodded. i grabbed my phone and keys and we walked to my car. i opened the door for her and she thanked me.

"omg i look huge" she whined.

"you think you look huge now, just wait until you're 8-9 months" i said making her mug me.

"you're not helping" she said making me laugh.

"my bad" i said.

"so how we feeling tho ?" i asked resting my hand on her stomach.

"okay, it's just the lack of energy" she said and i nodded.

once we got there we signed in and then a few minutes later they called her name so we went to the room they led us too.

"so how far are we mama ?" she asked.

"6 months and i feel like im about to pop" she said exhaling.

"okay let's here little baby's heartbeat shall we" she said as jada laid back. she put the gel on her stomach and then we looked at the screen.

"heartbeat is super strong and the baby is healthy. definitely ready to get out of there lol." nurse jackson said.

"also you're six months so that means we know the gender.. would you like to know or put it in a envelope ???" she asked.

jada looked over at me making me smile and shake my head.

"it's up to you baby" i said.

"idk i kind of wanna do a gender reveal i think it will be so fun but ion think i can wait any longer" she said.

"okay how about we get it in a envelope and we can open it your sister jack and a'ja and the team" i said and she smiled.

"ouu i love that idea. okay" jada replied.

"okay we're gonna get it in an envelope please" she said and the nurse nodded.

she wiped the gel of her stomach and we waited for her to come back.

"so what are we hoping for ??" i asked.

"i mean i kind of do want a girl. cus like a mini me would be so cute, but i always thought about wanting to be a boy mom so either or is fine" she said and i nodded.

"what about you ?" she asked.

"either or is okay. im gonna spoil em either way so it don't really matter" i said making her laugh. a few minutes later she came back with the envelope.

"thank you so much" jada said.

"ofc! i hope you continue to have a safe pregnancy and i'll see you back in 2 weeks" she said and we nodded.

after leaving we headed to chipotle cus we were both craving a chipotle bowl. jada put on baby oil making me shake my head.

"what ?" she asked.

"you been putting that on since you woke up this morning" i said.

"yeah cus i don't want stretch marks" she said and i nodded.

"are you nervous ?" i asked.

"yess about the birthing part. i always thought about being a mom but i never thought about the actual birthing part".

"im pushing a actual human being out of my vagina. it's all sinking in now" she said.

"you're gonna be amazing mama. and besides even if when it feels like someone's driving a bus through your private it's for a good cause and you got so many people that's gonna be there for you" i said making her eyes widen.

"you're no help bro" she said laughing.

i laughed and shook my head. now that i think about it this kind of makes me rethink wanting to have kids lol.

"omg you have  gotten so big" jack said.

"thank you so much i appreciate it" i said smiling.

"girl stop yk what i mean. you got that pregnancy glow girl" she said making me giggle.

"thank you" i smiled.

"we got food for baby bean" my sister said making me smile and clap.

"aww omg look at your bump" she cooed.

"how we feeling boo ?" a'ja asked me.

"um im ready to get this baby tf out of me but other than that im doing good" i smiled.

"ohh and we got the gender" juju said.

"omg what is it ????" they all asked together excitedly.

"lol we don't know yet we got it in a envelope so we could open with you guys and the team" i said and they nodded.

"I GOT CAKE" rayah yelled.

"but it's not just any cake" she added.

"then what is it ?" i asked.

"so me and talia know the gender and we got the baby's gender color inside of the cake. you and juju are gonna use wine glasses to figure out if the icing is pink for a girl or blue for a boy" she said making me smile.

"aww i love that idea" i said clapping.

i fixed my hair & lashes just cus ik we're gonna take pictures & i want them to be cute.

"okay everyone gather around" talia said. the team gathered around along with kels, jack, and a'ja. they handed us a wine glass.

"okay you ready ??" i asked and she nodded.

"close your eyes" rian said.

"1,2,3 we said shoving the glasses into the cake"

"lord im sked. okay you ready to see ??" i asked and i could hear her say yes.

"on three.. 1,2,3" the team counted down.

we opened and looked down where we saw pink icing.

"omg it's a baby girl" i said happily juju and i hugged each other.

"aww these pics came out so cute" my sister said.

"aww i can't wait to make her a mini jersey" malia said.

"are you gonna have a baby shower ?" ag asked.

"probably not" i said shrugging.

"and you are. you never have nothing for this darn baby" ken said making me laugh.

"we got it all under control" kate said.

"the cake is really good too" kiki said licking the icing from her fingers.

"omg" i said laughing.

"okay picture time" coach said.

we took a group photo and i got one individually with all the girls.

"as soon as you announce to the world im posting this" malia said.

we spent the rest of the night talking about baby girl and basketball season. the girls do have a game against ucla in a couple of days.
