i finished moving my stuff into my dorm room apartment. i transferred to usc because i needed a fresh start. i feel like this is gonna be good for me and my mental health.

today is my first official practice with the team. im excited because i love meeting new people and i hope it goes well. i felt my phone vibrate and it was from an unknown number so i already knew it was from mikey.

he keep texting me from text now, and im getting a new number tomorrow as we speak so surprise h**. ionk why he think sh** sweet cus it ain't. its salty asf and he better leave me alone for i embarrass his bum a**.

i took the time to unpack since i have an hour until practice so i unpacked and then got my canvas set up. and honestly im super excited.

it's been 45 minutes and practice starts in 15 so i grabbed my gym bag and headed to my car. i pulled up to the gym and took a deep breath before walking in.

"so guys today our new recruit will be joining us for her first practice with us." coach said.

"everyone welcome jada williams" she said and i smiled walking in. they all clapped which this means its a good sign that they might except me.

"omg another beast ?? yup" kiki said.

"we are so happy to have you jada" coach said.

"thank you coach g and for picking me up i really needed this fresh start" i said.

"okay everyone take the time to get to know her and vice versa so we can start building this team chemistry" coach said.

"okay so tell us about yourself jada" aaliyah said.

"well my name is jada obviously lol. im 5'8. i absolutely love to eat if it ain't no food i don't want it" i said.

"PERIOD. just our type girl" juju said.

"im from kansas city and im super outgoing. i love making tiktoks or what not & i transferred from the university of arizona" i said.

"we love a outgoing person. omg i love tiktoks too we're gonna be besties" dominique said.

they told me about themselves and then we started practicing so we could learn each others strengths and weaknesses and build that team chemistry.

i love it here already. not that i didn't love arizona but their different. they make any and everything fun and i love fun and they are always laughing.

after practice i headed into the locker room. they were just talking about random things and i was in my own little bubble.

"jada you wanna go out and eat with us ??" juju asked.

"omg yes i love food" i said happily.

"omg same" ken said making me giggle.

"so why'd you leave arizona if you don't mind me asking" jazzy asked.

"you nosey asf jazz im sure she does mind" aaliyah said.

"lol it's okay i don't mind." i said.

"well 2 months ago i caught my bf of 3 years cheating on me" i said.

"mikey right ??" kiki asked and i nodded.

"i never liked him anyways. cus why you shooting at folks vehicles for ?? with 5 people inside like where is your decency for the human life ??" rayah said.

"but i caught him cheating it really hurt me. like i fell into a deep depression & going back to arizona it just didn't feel like home anymore."

"i needed a fresh start so i transferred" i said.

"i say we jump him" aaliyah said.

"we ride at dawn bout our jada boo" kiki said making me smile. i love the little nick name and they showing how much they love me already and its vice versa.

"he fumble real bad" dominique said.

"period" i said laughing.

we found a table and sat down and everyone was looking at the menu tryna see what to order. i sat by the window and jada sat beside me.

"hey im sorry about your ex. he ain't deserve you anyway if he couldn't see how beautiful and caring you are" i said to her.

"thank you juju.. that means so much" she said smiling.

"make him thank you love him, take his money then you dip on niggas" kiki sang.

"girl shut up cus you do love him. you so tender about him its ridiculous" i said making everyone laugh.

"yeah cus what you over here being messy for ?" she said.

"yeah he would beat yo a** if he heard you sang that" jazz said.

"she know she just trolling" aaliyah said.

"so jada tell us" rayah smirked making us laugh.

"it's been 2 months, you should've f***** his hb after 2 days but we don't wait for NB so have you found anyone new ??" rayah asked.

"no but one of his hb did try to talk to me. i couldn't tho like i could never hurt him the way he hurt me" jada said.

"aww.. see and that right there he took advantage of that good heart" dominique said.

"exactly. but now that i think about it i should've let him hit right in that nigga apartment but hey i'm better than that" jada said making us hype her up.

"oh you way better than me. i would've been posted up with the homie 2 days later h*ll nb gaf about you or how you feel" kiki said.

"man yall h*ll on wheels" jada said laughing.

"ain't they tho" i said shaking my head.

we ordered and 5 minutes later our food came. we recorded cus girl math period & then we starting bigging our backs lol.

"i want one of yours" i said taking a fry making her look at me.

"what you gotta share don't be stingy" i said making her giggle.

"you gotta pretty smile" i told her. i could see her cheeks heat up, she most definitely blushing.

"thank you girl" she said and i nodded.

we continued to talk about random things while we ate. team bonding at a restaurant will never get old.. we all big & we all love to eat so it's the perfect team bonding experience.
