Chapter 2

Gajeel's POV

I smile down at Levy as she smiles at me.

"Mind if I sit with ya?"

"Of course not! Come sit! We have a lot of chatting to do," Levy tells me as I sit next to her.

"Yeah I know. So how's life in heaven," I ask her.

"It's fair. I have friends and everyone likes me. What about living in hell," she ask me.

"I don't usually go 'round hell. With the reputation José made for me and me not belonging there. I just usually stay in my room," I explain to her.

"Oh ok...."

There is a comfortable silence that floats 'round us as we just chill. Lev leans against my shoulder and I wrap my arm 'round her and pulls her close. After some time, Levy speaks up.

"Hey Gajeel?"

"Yeah."

"Why does your heart seem to be glowing a bit red around it," she ask me.

I look at her in confusion. Her own heart is white, but it seems ya be glowing blue 'round it.

"I could ask ya the same. Though yer heart is glowing a blue color, not red," I tell her.

"Hmmm....I wonder why," she muse.

"Maybe 'cause we are soulmates," I say. "It's just a guess. But when I see other angels and demons hearts they're not glowing like yers is," I tell her.

"That seems the most logical theory and only theory," Levy says. "Maybe our library has something on that. I'll tell you when I figure something out. Also, you can see souls," she says.

"Yeah. I think that hafta do with somthin' 'bout me being an angel in heart and soul but is a demon on the outside," I tell her.

"Your not a demon to me. Your my best friend since I was a little kid," she tells me.

/Ok! Before ya pester me 'bout tells ya that they are soulmates but Lev just friend zoned Gajeel, she meant it as when they were alive. So since they know(or have the idea) that they are soulmates they are technically dating./

"True. Anyway...when are we going on our date," I ask her.

"What," she ask me as she looks at me.

"Well since we are soulmates and are technically dating. When are we actually gonna go to a café and be like a couple. I mean, when we were murdered we were dating," I say.

"Ok...Um....how about in two days. We meet here around 11:00 and then go on a date," she tells me.

"Sounds great! So what do ya wanna do now," I ask her.

"Just chill and enjoy each other's company," she says.

"Alright, sounds great. Well we could visit the leader who raised us. He still alive in jail and we can say hi and let him know we are doing well in the afterlife," I say.

"Sounds great," Levy says as she smiles.

Levy's POV

Gajeel and I just enter the jail where the leader is staying. It's a good thing there is still visiting hours. We ask the guard to see him and the bring Daniel out.

"Ah 'The Twin Runners'! What a great surprise," Daniel says as we sit at a table. "I see you guys are doing great in the afterlife. Now, what are you guys. Angels or Demons?"

"Well Lev is an Angel. And then the system went wacko and they accidentally put me as I Demon," Gajeel tells Daniel as he chuckles.

"Well I'm not surprise. Your looks...well....they don't make you look like an angel," Daniel says.

"Oí! I ain't my fault," Gajeel says as I giggle.

"And it looks like you guys are still dating. Or are you guys now married," Daniel says.

"N-no! We are soulmates but we just met up today," I stutter and Daniel chuckles.

"I'm just teasing you! But it's nice to know you guys are soulmates. Even watching you guys grow up I knew that there was a bond deeper than we could see," Daniel explains.

"So how many years do ya still need ta server," Gajeel ask him.

"5 more years. The wife and kids can't wait to see me. They visit me all the time," he tells us. "I'll tell them that you guys came to see me. They will be happy knowing you guys are good. Though I won't mention about you being a Demon. I'll tell them that you both are Angels."

"Thanks Daniel," Levy says.

"No problem! Hey, do you know I'm a grandpa? Exciting isn't it?!"

"That sure is," I tell him and Gajeel nods in agreement.

"Hey when you guys have a kid, can I be their honorary Grandpa. I did more or less raise you guys," Daniel says.

"Of course! You are part of the family," I tell him.

"That's good. Over the past 20 years I have had a lot to think about. The most breaking news a received was when the police told me you guys were murdered. They let me go to your funeral with a guard or two. I got to see my wife and my children too. It also left nice being out in the real world. The cops here are nice. They like to place chest and checkers with me," Daniel tells us.

"Well its a good thing yer life is good. What about everyone else," Gajeel ask him.

"I haven't heard from anyone of them. Bobby should be out of jail by now."

"Alright. If we hear anything we will let you know," I tell him.

"That would be great," he says.

We say farewell and we leave the jail.

"He can become an angel," Gajeel says.

"Yeah. His heart is a bit black, but it's not consuming him like others we saw in the jail. I'll tell Gramps about him," I tell Gajeel.

"True. I better go. Until next time Shrimp," Gajeel tells me.

"Wait Gajeel. Is it true that you only have one wing," I ask him.

"Yeah. José ripped my left one out. I have been able ya use my magic ya make an iron wing. I can still fly and it works perfectly. I've grown use to is so I don't feel it drain my magic when I make it," I tell her.

"That's good. I'll see you later Gajeel."

And with that, we both disappear in our respective world.

/Alright! So everyone can use their magic that they have when Fairy Tail isn't an AU! Also, Natsu's wings are on fire. The only reason why Gajeel's isn't made of Iron is because for Demons they basically have the same wings throughout, but just in different colors. While angels' wings are more diverse and match with the angel's magic. Like Lucy's have stars on hers and Jellal's looks like clouds. Juvia's are made from water and Gray's are made from ice. Erza's are sword, which they only appear when her armor doesn't have wings. That's all! See ya next chapter!/
