So to tell you the truth I forgot about two paths and also angel of darkness :P yeah it just slipped my mind sorry so this will be short

Recap:

"He cannot escape from this loop...the technique that decides destiny....this is Izanami." Itachi said.

From a distance Mariah's eyes slowly opened. Checking her surroundings she saw the two brothers standing in front of Kabuto. She was confused but she was interrupted by a painful aching in her head. Her hands went to her head clutching it in pain.

"Ss-as-u-ke," She whimpered.

Hearing his name Sasuke turned around to see Mariah on the ground where he left her clutching her head in pain. Quickly he crouched next to her examining her to see what was wrong.

"My head," Mariah groaned.

"It'll be alright," Sasuke said.

Mariah looked over to Itachi to see what he was doing.

"Izanami?" She questioned.

"Yeah,"

"I was going to use that; I guess great minds think alike." Mariah said.

"No." Itachi said sternly. "I wouldn't allow you to do that to yourself."

"But Itachi, I don't care about the side effects! I only care about everyone fighting in the war!" She protested.

"You're still alive I'm not so I'll deal with the side effects."

Sasuke looked between the two wondering what they were talking about.

"What are the side effects? How does Izanami work?" Sasuke questioned.

Both Itachi and Mariah looked at Sasuke.

"If you drag Kabuto inside a loop like this it's easier to use the actual genjutsu affecting his vision." Mariah started.

"So Kabuto got stuck in this loop? Izanami....When did you use it?"

"The first time Kabuto stabbed me with his sword." Itachi answered.

"But how? How can an eye technique work without using the eyes?"

"Izanami works....using your and your opponents senses."

"The senses?"

"The instant you voluntarily decide to act....you memorize the bodily sensation of that instant like a photograph, using your eyes....let us call that A. Then you replicate the same bodily sensation intentionally.....and memorizxe that as well like before creating A."

"Izanami overlaps A and A connecting them. And by doing this it also connects the time that passed between them. In other words, it creates an infinite loop." Mariah continued getting to her feet.

"Of course, in exchange for your eyesight..like with Izanagi."

"So Kabuto's mind is trapped inside that endless loop....fighting against an illusionary me and you?" Sasuke looked towards Mariah. "So that's why you didn't want Mariah to use it? Because her eyesight would be gone?"

"Yes that is the reason...and there is a way to escape the loop. Because Izanami was originally created as a method to punish and save the users of Izanagi."

"What do you mean?"

"You seem to know things about Izanagi...it was rumored to be the most perfect technique, able to change destiny. If what you do is not successful, you can just delete it and go back. Basically, it's a way to only keep the results that are useful to you. During an important fight, where Uchiha were not allowed to fail...Izanagi was extremely helpful. However.....the risk that its use implied was much worse than just losing one's eyesight. Its users became arrogant and used it too much for themselves. If only one person is able to use it then its not a problem. But more than one person was, thus they ended up fighting over which results to use.

(This part is hard to explain in writing cus u need to see a diagram so just go on narutobase.com and look for it.)

Izanami was created to stop that. Because you cannot cast genjutsu on someone that uses the same eyes. If you try to delete X or to go where O is you end up going around in the same spot. If you try to erase the results with Izanagi to change them in way that is useful to you....Erase X and choose O as another possibility.  Izanami will drag you into an endless loop.

(Basically it's just like those books that give you choices on what page to go to and if you don't like the way you turned up then you just go back to the page you started from and take a different path. Or like a maze if you didn't read those kinds of books.)

"But Izanami was created to stop Izanagi....so there is a way to escape that path. It's a technique invented to save other Uchiha comrades from arrogance and procrastination. To stop people that tried to use the easy way to run away from the results they created. When you acknowledge you results and stop trying to run away, the jutsu dissolves. This technique is used to teach people not to rely on jutsu...but to accept their own destiny.

A jutsu with a way to escape it is dangerous and can't really be used during an actual fight. That is why Izanami became a Kinjutsu. So if Kabuto stops trying to become someone other than himself....we will be able to leave the loop."

(Finally! My hand hurts T-T srry Itachi I love you and all but that was too much and confusing.)

"Why did you use this jutsu on him? If he can escape, then...." Sasuke shouted.

"He is much like how I was in the past. He blindly believes that he was obtained everything and nothing is impossible to him. That is why he was afraid of failing and tries to convince himself that he could not possibly fail. To deceive myself I stopped trusting other people's strength. In Kabuto's case, to deceive himself he is convinced that other people's power is his own power."

Sasuke was silent.

"I understand him....we were both played with by this shinobi world.....and we can't forgive and acknowledge ourselves." Itachi said looking at Kabuto then at Mariah.

"Mariah understands also. Mariah.....was used by her parents then by Orochimaru , the village, the Akatsuki and even by you Sasuke. They all used her for just her power and nothing else not considering her feelings. What Kabuto is doing is wrong...but it's also wrong to blame him. I want him to realize this before dying, unlike me."

"Why are you doing all this for someone like him!? You're not like him! You were perfect!" Sasuke shouted.

"No one is perfect Sasuke," Mariah said.

"Sasuke.....I went as far as to use an eye technique called Kotamatsukami on you to control you. I treated you like a child more than anyone else. I only saw you as someone to protect and I didn't trust your strength. I actually don't think something like perfection exists. That is I think why we are born able to absorb things....and by comparing ourselves with something else we can finally head in a good direction.......Exactly like.....Izanagi and Izanami.."

Sasuke looked down at his feet not making eye contact with either Itachi nor Mariah.

"Look at me.." Itachi demanded..

Sasuke looked up.

"I want you to find what I didn't have. Don't say that I or anyone else is perfect.....First of all.....You should have acknowledged your real self. That way you wouldn't have had to tell likes. Not even to yourself like I did. There is no trust in lies, you don't get any comrades to rely on and lies also make you unable to look at your own self. Now I will stop the Edo Tensei."

YAY THE EDO TENSEI IS GOING TO BE OVER! Well i hope so....if the next manga chapter is something else then i'll be mad
