Sad chapter!! Sad to all itachi fans T-T i seriously was tearin up

All was quiet as they watched Kabuto. He complied and put head was down as he said the hand signs out loud.

"Rat,"

"ox,"

"monkey,"

"tiger,"

"dragon,"

"boar,"  He chanted.

Finally he did the hand signs slowly. Both Sasuke and Mariah watched intently waiting for it to be finished. Sasuke turned his gaze towards Itachi.

"It looks like nothing I could say will change anything." Sasuke mumbled as he closed his eyes.

Mariah looked at Sasuke knowing what he is feeling. She too didn't want Itachi to leave but he has already lived his life and can't live among the living.

"Itachi.........I'll miss you........You've helped me ever since I was taken to the Akatsuki.......You protected me from the rest of the members even threatening to kill them.....You taught me everything that you knew and more.............you opened up to me and told me things that no one else knew.....You helped with the voices and listened to me when I was upset......

You showed me that someone still cares.....I'm very grateful that I met you and that you protected me from Madara....You're like the brother I've never had and I'm going to miss you so much....." Mariah sobbed.

Itachi looked at Mariah with a smile on his face. She wasn't always good at expressing her emotions and knew that she meant something even more that she couldn't put into words. His time is almost up which saddens him but it has to be.

"When I saw you...." Sasuke spoke up. "I followed you here because I wanted to confirm if the things that Tobi and Danzou told me were true or not. But that's not the only thing I confirmed........When I'm with you, I remember the past....the feelings from my childhood spent together with the brother I loved....and that's exactly why.....

The more the two of us get along like we used to..and the more I'm able to understand you....the more my hatred towards the village of Konoha swells up.....it's becoming even stronger than before. I understand what you want me to do.  It's probably because you're my big brother that you repudiate me. But it's also because I'm your little brother that won't stop no matter what you say. Just like how you're protecting the village now....I will definitely destroy it.............Goodbye."

With that the last hand sign was formed and the Edo Tensei was released causing everyone who was resurrected to return to where they came from weather it was either Heaven or Hell. The allied shinobi were confused at what was happening but the ones who understood were disappearing from the living world.

Back to the battle between Naruto and the tailed beasts the Jinchuuriki were going away which angered Madara.

"Why is the Edo Tensei stopping?! What happened to Kabuto?! He was suppose to kill Mariah!" Madara thought angrily.

"Thanks....Itachi.." Naruto thought as blood ran down his face.

A glowing light covered Itachi's body and he felt himself getting weaker and weaker by the second. He looked towards Sasuke and Mariah.

"I can still............make it...." Itachi muttered as his stretched out his right arm.

He slowly walked towards Sasuke who knew what Itachi was going to do. Once Itachi was close enough he tapped Sasuke on his forehead just like the last time but under better circumstances. Itachi turned towards Mariah and got down to her level looking into her eyes which held tears. He wrapped his arms around her which she gladly returned.

"Please........don't give up..." Itachi whispered in her ear.

With that Itachi disappeared leaving behind a saddened Sasuke even though he wasn't showing it and a teary eyed Mariah. It was silent for a while....Kurayami gets up and comforts Mariah. She lightly strokes Kurayami's smooth fur staring down at the floor. Sasuke was also staring at the ground with his fist clenched.

He was sad and even more angry once Itachi disappeared. That only reminded him that his brother would never return all because of the village did to him. His eyes traveled down to Mariah who was still sitting on the ground clutching her head staring at the ground. As he looked at her he could see tears threatening to fall but he knew that she wouldn't let them fall. He wanted to say something to her but he knew that nothing he said would change anything.

He needed to find Naruto for he is the only one who will stand in his way of destroying the village. Mariah is no threat because he knows that she would never hurt him and he couldn't bear to hurt her either. He noticed how her eyes looked distant...as if she wasn't even here. The expressions on her face showed that she was struggling or having an internal battle within herself.

Sasuke doesn't want to leave Mariah like this but he had to. His main goal right now is to kill Naruto.

"He's going to leave you Mariah, can't you see it? He cares more about revenge than you. He's going to kill Naruto and destroy your home." The voice said.

"What home? I won't be welcomed there." Mariah thought.

"If you kill Sasuke then you'll be welcomed with open arms. Kill the last remaining Uchiha. If you do that then you'll be a hero."

"They'll fear me then. I haven't been the best role model for people. I'm too powerful......everyone fears those with power."

"So? Power is good; just imagine it. You have the tailed beasts in you now, along with Kurayami's strength, and Tadashi's, now mine, and don't forget the power you already had before all of this. You're very powerful Mariah. They can't do anything to you because you're unstoppable."

"Shut up....I don't want this power! I never asked for this! I'd rather be an ordinary civilian."

"Where's the fun in that?"

"Life wouldn't be complicated and you'd live longer."

"You'd be defenseless! Foolish human! Kill and kill and kill! That's the only answer! Kill the Uchiha!"

"I can't kill Sasuke!"

"He's a threat Mariah; you'll find someone else or not hehehe. He's going to kill everyone you love."

"Shut up! Leave me alone! Stop talking!"

"Look at him Mariah.......look in his eyes."

She did what she was told meeting the Uchiha's eyes. Those dark cold heartless eyes which she was familiar with.

"Recognize those eyes? They were the ones he gave you when he left the village."

"He can do whatever he wants,"

"Tell that to the innocent people he kills,"

Mariah was silent........she looked up at Sasuke again who was deep in thought. Feeling her gaze Sasuke turned his attention towards her both staring into each other's eyes not looking away. No one spoke it was completely silent between them. No one knew what to say.

"Mariah............................are you okay?" Sasuke asked breaking the silence.

"...........................no......" She answered clutching her head once again.

"Are you hurt?" He asked showing concern.

"My head.....that's it.."

He stepped closer.

"Don't come near me!" Mariah shouted scooting away from him.

"What's wrong?" He questioned getting closer.

"Stay away....."

"Why?"

"Because........the look in your eyes....they're the same......like last time."

"What is she talking about?" Sasuke wondered.

Mariah saw the look on his face that he was giving her so she explained.

"Your eyes look the same like they did when you left the village.......just...stay away."

Sasuke stepped closer and grabbed her hand holding it in his. He rubbed the back of her hand trying to show her everything was okay but she backed away towards Kurayami. She held onto her and disappeared into space leaving a baffled Sasuke behind. Sasuke didn't know what to think....The look in her eyes showed that she was struggling also was heartbroken. His heart ached knowing that he was the cause of her pain. Back to when that demon took her over she said that Mariah's anger was towards him.

Mariah made both her and Kurayami appear near the area of the battle field where Madara was fighting Naruto. The jinchuuriki were all gone which now left Naruto alone with Madara. She looked around seeing that everyone was fighting but were badly wounded. Their chakra was low and couldn't fight anymore. In the middle of it all she saw Tadashi's lifeless body in the same spot she left him.

"Kurayami.......can you bring his body over here out of the way?" I asked.

"Sure.....be right back."

Kurayami left Mariah's side leaving her alone for a short while. When Kurayami returned Tadashi was on her back still lifeless. Mariah got up lifting his cold body off of her back setting him onto the ground. He looked the same but he was so pale. Mariah moved a stray strand of black hair out of his face giving her a view of his face.

"Why Tadashi? Why did you have to die and leave me here?"

Wasn't that sad?????? D'X
