The Shinobi alliance stood before the Juubi realizing the tragedy that just struck. Head quarters has just been destroyed. Ino and Shikamaru both looked distraught but tried their best to stay calm.

"Shikamaru," Choji started.

"We're in the midst of a battle, don't say anything more. You too, Ino. Just do what my old man told us to." Shikamaru ordered.

"What...what's with them?" Naruto wondered.

"You're the key to this strategy!" Neji said as he jumped next to Naruto.

"Not that! Those guys, Shikaku and Inochi, what happened to them?!"

Suddenly a figure was seen jumping in front of their view of the sun casting a shadow on them. The figure appeared in front of Madara and Obito making everyone wonder who it was. Once they were able to see who it was the Leaf shinobi froze.

"Who is that?" Someone questioned.

"Mariah Kira," A Leaf shinobi answered.

"K-Kira? I thought they were all dead?"

"Nope, she was the last survivor. We thought that she died three years ago though." (Remember, only a few people knew that she was alive, I forget who though lol def Team 7 and Team Gai and the Kage's know)

"Mariah!" Naruto shouted excitedly.

Mariah took a glance at Naruto then turned towards the two Uchiha.

"Did you take care of that nuisance?" Obito questioned.

"Yes master." She replied.

"She's still under their control!" Naruto growled.

"Wait what?" Sakura questioned.

"Madara and Obito erased Mariah's memories and replaced them making her believe that they raised her. Wait! If she's here then....where's that other guy?"

"She must've taken care of him." Kakashi confirmed.

"Mariah," Madara called out.

"Yes?"

"Take care of them," He ordered.

"I would but my chakra is drained. He was stronger than I imagined."

"Fine, we'll give  you some chakra." He said walking towards her.

Madara examined Mariah noticing her wounds. He couldn't help but notice that her former blue shirt was now coated in blood along with the rest of her body.

"He really did a number on you didn't he?"

"Yes but I came out victorious."

"I can see that," He said as he put his hand on her shoulder. Chakra was transferred to Mariah making her feel stronger. Once Madara was done he took a step away from her.

"Now, destroy the enemy." He ordered.

"Of course....Master..." Mariah said turning away from him.

In a flash she turned and kicked Madara then Obito while their guard was down. They quickly recovered.

"What was that for?!" Obito shouted in anger.

"She got her memories back." Madara informed.

"How?"

"I took a trip down memory lane. Thanks for the chakra by the way." Mariah said with a smirk.

"You're a nuisance."

"Oh why thank you!"

Both Madara and Obito ran up and kicked Mariah in the stomach where her wound was causing her to wince in pain as blood spewed from her mouth. She flew off the Jubi hurdling towards the shinobi. She was in too much pain to move. Before she could hit the ground someone had caught her but then fell themselves.

"Mariah are you alright?!" Naruto shouted.

"Sakura....can you heal Tadashi and I?" She grunted.

"Y-yeah!" She said scurrying over towards them.

She lifted up Mariah's shirt revealing the sickening infected wound that Akuma inflicted upon her. Tadashi defused from Mariah appearing at her side.

"How are you not dead?! You've lost so much blood!" Sakura exclaimed.

"She's tough as nails," Tadashi chuckled.

"Damn straight,"

Sakura finished healing the main wound leaving nothing but a scar. She then moved on to the other injuries along with Tadashi's.

"Man, what happened to you guys?"

"Well Satan's daughter came out of me trying to turn me into a devil but then I got out of the trance and we fought her and winning in the end." Mariah explained.

"You have the most interesting experiences." Naruto mumbled.

"Aren't we in the middle of a war?"

"Oh yeah,"

Suddenly the ground started to shake as rumble flew everywhere. From behind them Hiashi appeared next to Neji.

"Neji! Flank them from the right!" He ordered.

"Got it!"

They both used their Hakkeshou Kaiten to deflect the rubble.

"W-oah...Neji's such a badass....he's really a genius!" Naruto gaped.

"He deflected it?!"

"It's the Hidden Leaf's Hyuuga family's Inashi technique. It really put us in a bind in the last war!"

"Tadashi," Mariah called out.

"Got it!"

Mariah activated her Byakugan lining up next to Neji as Tadashi activated his shield protecting everyone from the rocks that got through.

"Don't space out, Naruto! This is the battlefield, and we're at war! People's lives are on the line!" Hiashi called out. "If we lose this battle....it means total extermination!"

"I know that!"

"Shikamaru and Ino's fathers both knew....that giving their lives before their children do is a responsibility of us as shinobi! My father did the same. For this strategy, Naruto...we need your strength! Until we can get this underway..."

"We'll protect you!" Hinata finished.

"Wait what? Shikamaru's and Ino's dad died?" Mariah interjected.

"Hinata!" Naruto gasped.

"Rest assured, the Hyuuga are Konoha's strongest!"

Mariah was quite insulted by that comment but knew it wasn't the time.

"I was hoping to attack them before they could finish talking but...I can't control the Juubi well enough..It should be fine until the next transformation...but next is...it seems that without becoming the Jinchuuriki, we cannot gain mastery over the Juubi. In order for me to become the Juubi's Jinchuuriki...I need a living body, not just a corpse of edo tensei..." Madara said.

"It's slightly irrelevant but..with your Edo Tensei body, you could just aim right down at the alliance and...use yourself as a suicide bomb. The only reason why you don't is because I'd be sucked into it too. And the reason you can't have that....is in order for you to fully revive and become a jinchuuriki, you need me to give away my life and use Rinne Tensei. In other words, you're at my mercy. You'd be wise to remember that..." Obito said.

"Quite the attitude you have now..."

"I've had it since I met you...I've never thought of you as an ally."

"Hmph..fine. Well then, why don't you decide our next course of action."

"Next...we slowly cripple them with despair."

Obito held out his arm controlling the Juubi's arms causing wood to come out of them piercing the shinobi.

"Tadashi!" Mariah shouted.

Tadashi shielded most of the shinobi but couldn't protect them all. Mariah along with the Hyuugas' deflected the wooden spikes with their Kaiten."

"There are too many! We'll just have to try and evade them!"

One spike knocked Neji's headband clean off.

"Thanks Neji! I made it into sage mode!" Naruto said as one of his clones made Rasen Shuriken and threw it in the air which deflected the wood away from everyone.

"Here comes some more!!"

More spikes came down aiming for Naruto which Hinata deflected with her Air Palm. More came down at a fast speed heading for Naruto. Hinata and Mariah got in front of Naruto protecting him waiting for the pain but it never came. All three looked over to see that Neji had taken the hits.

"WE NEED A FRIGGIN' MEDIC!!!!" Naruto shouted.

Mariah quickly began to heal Neji but knew it was no use.

"No...it's...too late..." Neji coughed.

"Brother," Hinata cried.

"Hinata-sama is willing to die for you, Naruto...so keep in mind...that you life...is not...your own...anymore...It also includes...mine now....as well..."

"Why...not in a place like this!! You're the Hyuuga's..."

Neji thought back to when he fought Naruto back at the Chuunin exams.

"Why would you go this far for me?! Sacrificing your life..."

"Because....I was called a genius..."

With that; Neji was gone. 

Tears were streaming down Hinata's face and the tears threaten to fall down Naruto's face. Mariah stood there blankly looking down at Neji's now cold lifeless body. She had no words for what had just happened. She thought that she'd be use to this feeling already...the feeling of losing a comrade, someone important to you, a friend but she was wrong. It still hurt losing someone you knew knowing you'll never see them again. Eventhough she hardly knew Neji, he was still a Leaf Shinobi.

"Naruto!" Obito called out.

Naruto looked up at him furiously.

"I thought you wouldn't let me kill a single one of your comrades?"

I seriously cried when Neji died
