"Is he really Obito? He's supposed to be dead..." Gai gasped.

Kakashi gazed into Obito's Sharingan eye examining him to find the truth.

"No mistake...he's Obito Uchiha." Kakashi confirmed.

"You can call me with that name if you want....to me it means nothing."

"How did you survive?"

"Who is he!?" Naruto questioned.

"He's an Uchiha, a Shinobi of the Leaf that used to be our classmate. He was supposed to have died in a fight during the last war..." Gai informed.

"If you were alive...how come until now?"

"Whether *I* survived or not is not important. However...yeah...if you really want to know why..It's because.... You let Rin die."

Shocked was shone on the two Leaf Shinobi's faces.

"Don't be hasty....and don't make that face, Kakashi."

"Aren't you going to blame me?"

"It's pointless to blame this useless reality. I'm not interested in this world, since it's going to disappear."

Naruto looked over to Kakashi seeing his expression of sadness. Kakashi had never mentioned Obito or this Rin but he was guessing they were the fallen comrades he had spoken about during the bell training.

"But it's not time to get depressed now!! Kakashi-sensei! I don't know what happened between that guy and you.... I'll listen to the story later. Now it's more important to stop him from carrying on his plan!!" Naruto said.

"Kakashi! Naruto is right! The world is in our hands now!"

"I have nothing to say to you. Just die, bound by this reality. Mariah, attack."

Mariah started making hand signs then put her fingers to her mouth creating a huge ball of fire. The ball went towards the shinobi making them sweat from the intense heat.

"Kakashi!" Gai shouted.

Suddenly Naruto's tails deflected the fire. Smoke covered the battle ground and something made the smoke shift.

"What is this?" Gai questioned.

"You seem to be having fun here." A voice came from the smoke. "Obito"

Once the smoked cleared next to Obito was Madara Uchiha.

"It seems that you have a new pawn in your game." Madara said as he looked at Mariah who stood in front of Obito protectively.

"She's a powerful body guard." Obito replied.

"That is...." Kakashi started astonished.

"He...he's..." Naruto stuttered.

"You defied Edo Tensei...Very much like you to do that." Obito said.

"But anyway..."

"Why!? Why is that Madara the was there here!!?" Naruto shouted.

"Madara! That's Madara!?" Kakashi questioned.

"He's a Kagebushin too. Where's the original Obito?" Madara questioned.

"Hey Naruto! Does I mean that..." The still chained up Bee started.

"What happened to all the others!?"

"You mean there?" Madara asked ignoring Naruto.

"I ASKED YOU WHAT HAPPENED!!"

"Who knows...they're probably.....not ok.."

*Switch scenes to the Kage's*

Five bodies lay spewed across the ground motionless with blood surrounding them. The five Kage's have lost their match with the famous Madara Uchiha but fought valiantly. All just barely alive hanging onto the thread of life. Tsunade regained consciousness wiping the blood off of her chin summoning Katsuyu.

"Tsunade-sama!" Katsuyu shouted in concern for her master.

"....Katsuyu....I need to ask you....something.." Tsunade said weakly.

"Yes! I'll stick your body together and..."

"No..you can think about my body...later..now you have to..take the Kage...to where I am..I can....still.....save them...."

*Back to Naruto and the others*

With his tails, Naruto ripped the chains from Bee releasing him. Obito tossed his weapon to Madara. Mariah watched everyone feeling irritated. She was tired of the constant talking between her master and the enemy. All she wanted to do was fight and destroy the Leaf Village scum.

"You can have it. It's yours after all." Obito said.

"Hn," Madara replied activating his Susano blocking the chains that hurdled towards them."

"Finally I can move! Thanks Naruto! Now it's my turn!!" Bee shouted.

"Obito.... Did you start the project midway...before we could absorb the Hachibi and the Kyuubi?" Madara questioned.

"He knows about the project...how are they related?" Kakashi thought.

"You were too hasty, Obito...Is that also the reason you revived me like this? Well, it's you...I guess you have some plan, but what have you been doing so far? What happened to Nagato? I should have been revived with the Rinne Tensei no Jutsu..at the right now."

"Did you try....to use Nagato!?" Naruto said.

"He betrayed us. He used the jutsu on the people of the leaf village. I wanted to use Mariah here but she betrayed us long ago....Now that she's under my control she'll do whatever we ask her to do."

"What's with everyone....whatever, we're still in time. I'll catch the Hachibi and the Kyuubi!"

Naruto lunged towards the two Uchiha with his Rasengan ready.

 "You were dead, don't meddle with us!!"

His Rasengan came in contact with Madara's fan weapon thing but didn't faze through.

"Uchihagaeshi." Madara said.

A huge burst of light came from his weapon making an explosion sending Naruto flying through the air.

"I'll deal with the Hachibi and the Kyuubi...you can take care of these two, Obito." Madara said leaping away towards Naruto.

"Obito....what happened to you? Why did you team up with him!?" Kakashi questioned.

~Obito's Flashback~

"Did I...die?" Young Obito questioned as he opened is eye.

He was bandaged all over with his right side bandaged and stitched together.

"Where am I?"

"Between this world and the other world.....young Uchiha." An old man with the Sharingan answered.
