Soon everyone was awake and we started to head in the direction to the land of Iron. As we were running I spotted someone in the distance. I motioned for everyone to stop as we approached him. When we were close enough I recognized him from the bingo books. I just had to kill him here.

"Stay here, I'm going to kill him." I whispered.

"Why? We can keep going?" Karin said.

"Because I need to kill him, he has a huge bounty on his head." I replied.

I then snuck up behind him and used my shadow to wrap around him which made him panic. I appeared in front of him which made him panic even more.

"Pathetic, how can someone with such a huge bounty of their head be so reckless? Oh well, as long as I get my money." I said holding up my sword.

"No, don't." He pleaded.

"Too bad, you're worth a lot so prepare to die."

"Well if I'm going to die then at least it's by the hands of a beautiful young lady."

I rolled my eyes and stabbed him in the heart. His blood splattered on my face and clothes but my expression did not falter. Shadow released him and he fell to the ground. I caught him and held his collar and dragged him towards the others.

"That was really easy," I said.

They just stared at me wide eyes as I walked towards them.

"You just killed him like that?" Karin questioned.

"Yeah so? I do this all the time. Now since we have a few days until the meeting and it'll take like two to get there I'm going to go to the collection office and collect my money."

"How far is that?" Suigetsu asked.

"Not far, about five miles." I answered.

"We don't have time for this," Sasuke said.

"Well then you guys can stay here and I'll be back in about fifteen minutes." I said taking off.

I ran through the forest approaching the collection office. As I neared it I saw some people coming towards me. I stopped on a branch above them; they looked up at me with a murderous intent.

"Can I help you?" I asked bordly.

"Yes you can. Did you kill that man there?" One asked.

"So what if I did? What's it too you?"

"That man is our leader and you just killed him like he was nothing!" Another shouted.

"Well it was too easy," I said cupping my chin in my hand.

"Come down here beautiful and let's have a little chat."

"What kind of chat?"

"A little one that goes like this. You come down here and we beat you up then rape you and kill you. Then we will be on our way with the body and exchanging you and our boss to the collection office getting a load of money."

"Ooooooohhhhh I'm sorry boys but......I don't like those kinds of chats. I doubt my boyfriend would like that anyway because he's the only one who's allowed to see this." I said motioning to my body.

They snickered at my comment then someone appeared behind me. I activated my shield which sent the guy flying backwards. He crashed into a few trees before he stopped.

"Get her!" One shouted.

"Oh please," I sighed.

As they ran towards me I summoned chakra to my hand. Then I released lightning chakra towards them creating a lightning forced field. Some idiots touched it and died right away while the smart ones stayed still.

"You know, I have killed many these past few years and well........you're no different. Now, I hope you all had a good life because this is the end." I said circling them.

"No....no please!" One begged.

"Too late!" I said making the force field get closer to them.

It then sliced all of them in half. I grabbed the leader's body and stared down at theirs.

"Hm no one important. Oh well, it was just a little fun."

I continued to run to the collection office and entered the place.

"Ah Mariah, good to see you again." The collector greeted.

"Make this quick, I need to be somewhere." I said.

"Of course," He said taking the body.

He gave me the money in a suit case. I started to count the money fast then when I counted every last one of it I was on my way again. As I was hopping threw the trees a remembered when Itachi and I would spend time together.

*Flashback*

 I heard a knock at my door. Getting off my bed to my feet I went over to my door and saw Itachi standing there.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Do you want to go into town today?" He asked.

"Um....sure?"

I stepped out of the room and into the hallway following Itachi out of the base. I noticed that he didn't have his cloak on so he was wearing his normal clothes. It's still weird to see him without a cloak on and not all serious. He's only like this around me; he's his real self.

We walked out of the hideout and into the forest heading towards town.

"So why are we going into town?" I questioned.

"Well you've been cooped up in the base and I thought that you would need some fresh air for once." He answered.

"True," I agreed.

We continued to walk in silence until I asked him a question that has been on my mind for a while.

"Hey Itachi?"

"Hm?"

"Why did you kill your clan? I know that it wasn't to get power because I know you better than that."

He was silent for a while.

"You're right, that was a lie but I'm not telling you until the time is right."

"Awe I hate it when you do that." I pouted crossing my arms over my chest.

He chuckled at my immature act. He then disappeared from my sight and I looked around. Right as I found him he disappeared again and came up from behind me and hugged me.

"Aaaahhhhh it burns!" I laughed.

"You know you love my hugs," He laughed.

"Yup! Because you hardly give out hugs!"

He then set me down while we were still laughing. As we neared the town we transformed into different people and walked in. We were window shopping and I eyed a blue kimono with a black dragon on it. We kept walking through the village and I stopped at a little dumpling place.

"Dumplings! ^^ Itachi! Itachi! Itachi! Can we have dumplings please!!!!!" *puppy eyes*

"Yeah, I know they're your favorite."

We walked into the place and I ordered five things of dumplings while Itachi had one.

"How are you not fat?" He questioned.

"Because I'm just that awesome!"

I like Itachi when he's like this. He's his normal self which is the best thing ever! If only he were like this more often. I FREAKING LOVE HIM LIKE THIS! IT'S LIKE HE'S HIGH! Hahahha where was I? Oh yeah so we were just making small talk and laughing.

As we were walking back to the hide out after an AWESOME day Itachi stopped.

"Close your eyes," He said.

"Um.................okay?" I said unsure closing my eyes.

I heard him leave for a second then came back in front of me.

"Okay open them,"

I opened them and saw the kimono that I saw in the store! I looked up at Itachi and jumped on him giving him a suffocating hug.

"Thank you thank you thank you thank you Itachi!!!! You're the best brother ever!" I thanked but then realized what I just said.

My eyes widened and I looked up at him.

"Oh.......I'm....sorry Itachi........I didn't..."

"It's okay Mariah, I consider you a sister. I'm glad you consider me and your brother." He assured.

I smiled.

"Okay Itachi," I said hugging him even tighter than before.

"Okay okay I get it, you love me! Can you let go? You're suffocating me." He laughed.

*END FLASHBACK! ^^*

I smiled at that memory; that took place after a year with the Akatsuki. I finally made it back to the group which were sitting on the ground.

"Sup peeps?" I said appearing in front of them.

"That was quick," Juugo said.

"Well I'm very quick," I said.

"How much money do you have?" Suigetsu questioned.

"A lot," I said making hand signs.

I summoned Kurayami and gave her the case of money.

"Take that back to my room at the base," I said.

"Okie dokie," She said.

She then started to head in the direction of the base. I turned back to look at the others.

"Why are you smiling?" Karin asked.

"Oh just remembering something that happened a few years ago."

Then out of nowhere I remembered when Sasuke and Naruto kissed. I started laughing out of nowhere and they gave me the WTF look.

"Why are you laughing?" Suigetsu questioned.

"I just remembered when Sasuke got his first kiss." I laughed.

"And what's so funny about that?" Karin asked rudely.

"Because who it was with,"

"Who was it?"

"It was-"

Then Sasuke covered my mouth with his hand.

"Don't you dare tell them."

"Awe but you kissed that person twice,"

"Not another word."

"You're no fun." I pouted.

"That is never to be spoken."

"Whatever Mr. Secret pants. Now let's go!"

Soon I started to get bored and thought maybe I could have fun with this team while teaching them a lesson. I noticed that all of them were hungry so I got an apple out of thin air and made sure that all of them saw it. When they saw it their faces were priceless. I just remembered that we haven't eaten since we started this journey.

"Are you going to share that?" Suigetsu asked with wide eyes.

"Hmmm maybe with one of you but you're going to have to fight me for it."

They all looked at each other for a second then back at me. And of course these idiots started fighting each other for the apple. I sweat dropped.

"Hey dumbasses; I'm over here!"

Karin got behind me trying to get the apple but I ducked under her legs and kicked her back causing her to fly into Suigetsu.

"Suigetsu you idiot! You got in my way?!" She yelled.

"I got in your way? You're the one who crashed into me!" He yelled back.

Juugo then came from behind me and tried to punch me but I caught his fist with my other hand and threw him towards the others. I looked around for Sasuke and sensed him above me. He went for a kick but I caught his leg and threw him into a tree; it was a clone. He appeared behind me, his warm breath on my neck sending shivers throughout my body. Stupid hormones! NOT THE TIME!!

"Mariah, are you going to give me the apple? You don't want your boyfriend to starve do you?" He said in a seductive voice.

"Sasuke Uchiha, are you trying to seduce me for an apple?" I asked also in a seductive voice.

"Maybe,"

"You'll have to try harder than that!" I laughed activating my shield.

He flew backwards landing on his feet. They all looked at each other again and kept trying individually to get the apple from me. After an hour they were worn out and still appleless. I chuckled at them panting. Finally they all looked at each other and nodded. I raised an eyebrow.

They came at me at the same time and actually caught me off guard. Suigetsu swung his sword at me as Karin came to punch me. I quickly dodged but was kicked by Juugo and slammed into Sasuke who held onto my waist. I noticed that the apple wasn't in my hand anymore; it was in Sasuke's.

"We win," He said.

"Heh, I'm actually proud of you guys." I said as they all walked towards me.

"What do you mean?" Karin asked exhausted.

"Well for once you guys worked together as a team just to get a stupid apple."

"So?"

"Well none of you fought each other. All FOUR of you came at me to get ONE apple."

"You just pulled a Kakashi, didn't you?" Sasuke asked.

"Yup! ^^" I said with the famous Kakashi closed eyed smile.
