So sorry for the long wait!

Once Kabuto was done with his story Itachi looked at him in pity. Sasuke and I seemed indifferent; we don't really care about this creep anyway.

"So that's my story," Kabuto said.

"Sorry to burst your bubble Kabuto but I don't really care about you past.........I just want to kick your ass and stop the Edo Tensei then kill that fake Madara."

"You should talk Mariah........you're life was much worse but does anyone even care? No one cares about little Mariah. She's been all alone and betrayed her whole life. Whoever gets close to her either dies or betrays her."

"Shut up; you know nothing."

"Oh but I know everything about you Mariah. You're a waste of space that doesn't deserve to live."

"You're only a burden to this world and to others around you. Nobody wants you here at all."

"Shut up,"

"Not even your little demon wanted to be with you so he got himself killed on purpose."

"Shut your mouth!"

I knew that he was provoking me but I couldn't help it. He was pushing my buttons setting my anger off. This was bad......I couldn't get any madder but he was making it possible.  Fire was building up inside me just waiting to come out.

"Awe is the little powerless Mariah mad? You're weak anyway. Do you really think that you can defeat Madara let alone me? You don't have any chakra left and you're injured. You're no use to anyone and are useless. All you do is go around and protect everyone and getting in the way."

I was shaking with anger. Itachi and Sasuke were staring at me with concern.  I was focused just on Kabuto; I could tell that my eyes were changing red by my anger. Dark chakra was coating me and my nails were turning into claws. I activated the Sharingan, Byakugan, and Renningan making me look even more terrifying.

"What's happening?" Kabuto questioned in fear.

"What's the matter Kabuto? Scared of me now?" I said in a demonic voice. "I thought that I was weak and useless."

(Sasuke's POV)

Mariah was shaking with anger. Itachi and I were staring at her with concern.  She was focused just on Kabuto. Then her eyes started to change red.

"What's happening to her?" I wondered.

 Dark chakra was coating her and her nails were turning into cat like claws. She activated the Sharingan, Byakugan, and Renningan making her look even more terrifying.

"What's happening?" Kabuto questioned in fear.

"What's the matter Kabuto? Scared of me now?" Mariah said in a demonic voice. "I thought that I was weak and useless."

Tails then started to grow; first it was only one but then it grew to five. Her aura was evil and demonic. I could sense the blood lust emanating from her causing a shiver to run up my spine. Mariah........was terrifying....I've only sensed this from Naruto back at Final Valley. He used his tailed beast to help him though.....I know that Mariah isn't a Jinchuuriki because there's only two left now.

Kabuto was frozen with fear as Mariah's chakra started to rise. Before she was nearly at zero but now...................it's very powerful.....

"This isn't her.......the voice is completely different from Mariah's.............she wouldn't have this much of a blood lust.....it has something to do with her anger.........she was fine before Kabuto started to insult her." I thought.

I tried to move but I was frozen where I was. I didn't move a muscle; neither did anyone else. Another tail started to form then she activated her curse mark making her look even more demon like. She didn't look human at all anymore.............she didn't even look like Mariah.

I couldn't even tell that the person in front of me was the Mariah that I know and love. Her wounds started to heal quickly as she was still transforming. Her pupils were in slits, she has long sharp claws, razor sharp teeth, larger cat ears, six tails, blue spiked hair, red skin, and wings like an angel. Even though she looked terrifying she was still beautiful in my eyes.

She then lunged towards Kabuto with a fast speed with her claws ready to strike. Her speed was incredible; she was almost fast enough to be invisible. Kabuto didn't even had time to see what was happening when Mariah slashed his chest. Kabuto stumbled back letting out a cry of pain and clutched his wound. Mariah didn't give him time to recover and punched him sending him through a wall. Mariah's eyes are filled with fiery and blood lust; a sadistic grin was plastered on her face. I've never seen this side of Mariah before; she's a whole new person now. It has to do something with those tails forming around her.

Naruto acted this way when we were fighting. Is it possible for her to have a beast inside her? Kabuto did mention a demon. What exactly did he mean by that? She was perfectly calm before but once he mentioned the demon she started to get mad so obviously it was important to her. How does Kabuto know about this? I looked over at Itachi. Does Itachi know? More importantly does Madara know?

He probably does know. Is that reason why he wanted Mariah in the first place? It had to be. That would be the only reason why Madara wants her so bad. Could this be her demon? No; Kabuto said that it was killed which is what set Mariah off.

Itachi POV

Mariah's chakra was rising. So...........Madara's plan for her has already started. He already put most of the tailed beasts in her. I never would've believed that she would be this powerful with only a few of the bijuu in her. The blood lust in the air was terrifying. With the Bijuu taking over, curse mark activated, and fused with Kurayami she's menacing.

I was frozen in place by her aura. We had to calm her down somehow or else she might go even more berserk attacking her comrades.  This is what Madara wanted............Kabuto is provoking her for a reason..Madara told Kabuto to provoke her in order to get her angry then she'll attack everyone.

No wonder Kabuto's insults towards her were random. Kabuto didn't know though what Madara did to Mariah before she got here. He didn't know that she would turn into this. Madara kept him in the dark for a reason so that he wouldn't be afraid to anger her. If we don't stop her now she'll kill Kabuto and we'll never be able to stop the Edo Tensei.

Mariah was starting to throw harder punches and kicks towards Kabuto. I looked over at Sasuke seeing as he was in the same position as me but worse. His face showed that he was scared of what he was seeing but also interested.

"Sasuke," I whispered.

He didn't reply.

"Sasuke,"

Still, no answer.

"Sasuke!" I said louder nudging his arm.

Finally that caught his attention making his head turn towards me.

"What is it?" He asked.

"We need to stop Mariah before she kills Kabuto. If she kills him then the Edo Tensei won't be stopped. We have to calm her down and get her under control. She's not in the right mind right now so she might see us as the enemy so be careful." I warned.

"What's wrong with her?" Sasuke asked.

I sighed.

"Madara..........sealed a few of the bijuu in her.......they're taking her over because of her rage." I explained.

"He did what?"

"There's no time for that now Sasuke. The cave is going to collapse." I said looking up at the ceiling which was crumbling.

"We have to hurry!"

As Mariah was focused on Kabuto, Sasuke and I snuck up behind her.

"Don't touch the cloak; it'll burn you." I warned.

Sasuke nodded. Soon we were closer to her and activated Susano. We both tried to grab her but swiftly she jumped out of the way landing behind us.

"Get out of my way. He needs to die!" She shouted in a demonic voice sending shivers up our spines.

She moved past us returning to what she was doing before. Kabuto was beaten up pretty bad close to death.

"Sasuke, you have to talk some sense into her."

"What? How is that going to help?"

"Mariah is still in there somewhere. She still loves you and will try her best to fight against the power. You have to get through and find her."

"What if it doesn't work?"

"It has to work,"

He thought about it for a second.

"I guess I'll try."
