Tadashi gritted his teeth as he looked around trying to locate Mariah's chakra. He couldn't locate her chakra at all. He looked around seeing nothing but rubble from the two other fights going on right now between Naruto, Bee, Gai, Madara, Kakashi, and Obito. He then looked back at the smirking Akuma.

"Where is she?"

"Where's who? You need to be more specific Tadashi."

"Where's Mariah?"

"Mariah, Mariah, Mariah," Akuma said tapping her chin making Tadashi irritated. "Mariah, the love of your life? The one who's in love with Sasuke and not you? That Mariah?"

"Yes," He growled.

"I don't know why you bother with her. You'll never get her to return your feelings."

"Shut up,"

"Nah, I like bothering you. I mean what do you even see in her? Seriously, she's selfish! She's rude, a real bitch, thinks all high and mighty about herself, she even turned to the Akatsuki for no reason. Why would she go join a bunch of S-ranked criminals? I see no point in that; she was already strong before she left. Why would you love someone who is obsessed with power?"

"You're wrong."

"What?"

"Mariah is a great person. She's caring, helpful, sincere, intelligent, strong, cunning, ambitious, brave, confident, cooperative, decisive, coherent , delightful, enchanting, faithful, lovely, skillful, tough, thoughtful, vivacious , witty, beautiful, stunning, and perfect." Tadashi defended.

Akuma laughed at what he said.

"You actually believe she's that? Oh you're more hopeless than I thought! You're so blinded by love that you don't even see her flaws!"

"I don't need to explain myself to you."

"Can't you see that she only used you for your powers? Right after you 'died' she went after Sasuke!"

"Shut up!" Tadashi yelled squeezing her tighter.

Akuma spat out black blood as Tadashi squeezed her. She seemed unfazed though since she was smirking.

"Did I strike a nerve?"

Tadashi only squeezed her tighter.

"I guess I did," She chuckled.

Tadashi's chakra went to his hand making his grip tighter. She started to move her arms out breaking out of Tadashi's grip. She landed on the ground with a thud looking up at Tadashi who appeared in front of her. Her eyes slightly widened at his speed never recalling him being so fast. In a flash she was sent back sliding on the ground. She put a hand on her stinging cheek where Tadashi had punched her with great force.

Akuma got to her feet and looked into Tadashi's eyes which were completely black. She smirked seeing that now she'll get a good fight our of Tadashi. Her own eyes then turned completely red peering into Tadashi's black ones.

"Let's see who's power is greater, Tadashi."

"Where's Mariah?"

"If you beat me then I'll tell you."

Tadashi growled and ran towards Akuma making his blade with his dark chakra. Akuma made her own sword out of lava and deflected Tadashi's. A clang was heard as the swords collided.

"Where is she!"

"Not telling,"

Tadashi let out a yell as he attempted to stab Akuma in the stomach but she easily dodged his attack. He appeared behind her kicking her back but she flipped, landing on one hand then pushed herself up into the air landing on her feet. Tadashi got in front of her again coiling back for a punch but Akuma swung back barley missing his fist. She twisted left kneeing him in the side but he slid under her legs sliding on the ground.

Tadashi swung his sword sending out shuriken. He sent twenty of them towards her only to have her spin and deflect them off her sword landing on the ground with one hand. Tadashi flashed in front of her sending a left hook to her jaw but Akuma bent sideways avoiding it. She sprang into the air and swung her sword making lava shoot out towards Tadashi.

Tadashi avoided it but one brushed his arm causing him to hiss in pain. He clutched his arm trying to control the wound but it was burning hot. When he looked down he could see his muscle beneath the skin. He took in a deep breath and exhaled focusing on Akuma who patiently waited for his next move.

When he looked into her eyes they were still completely red but he could still see the emotion. He saw nothing but pleasure in them and amusement. He resented the look that she was giving him. She thought that all of this was a game and nothing more. The thought  caused him to get even more enraged with her. His sword disappeared into black smoke as he made hand signs.

"Dark style: Black flames!" He shouted.

Akuma watched as flames shot out from Tadashi's hands heading towards her. She made no effort to move as the flames neared. Once they were close enough, Akuma started to suck in the fire with one gulp of air.

"You call that fire? I'll show you real fire!"

Akuma squatted down making hand signs.

"Devil style: Hell Fire!"

The ground began to quiver causing Tadashi to lose his balance but caught himself. The ground then began to diverge sending fire out of its depths. The fire shot out towards Tadashi causing him to panic. He didn't know how to dodge these for long. The gaping hole spit out the flames as Tadashi evaded them as best as he could.

One by one they got closer and closer to contacting his skin. He didn't know how long he could keep this up. He could feel the intense heat of the flames as they were shot. Sweat was dripping off his face from the heat also from him evading each attack.

"What's wrong Tadashi? Tired?" Akuma laughed.

Tadashi growled.

"You pathetic shinobi think you're so powerful with your chakra. Ha! Being a devil is better. You don't have a limit. Demons are just like normal shinobi but the only difference is that they have dark powers."

Tadashi advanced towards Akuma who wasn't expecting the move. The flames wisped around aiming towards Akuma who realized Tadashi's plan. Along with Tadashi she avoided the flames.

"That wasn't very nice," She said as she ran beside Tadashi.

"Well you're not nice,"

"Touché,"  

Akuma jumped above the flames then slammed her hand onto the ground which caused the flames to stop and the ground to converge. Tadashi stopped to catch his breath glad that the fire fiasco was now over. He put his hand to the ground pouring chakra into it searching for Mariah while Akuma was distracted. Unfortunately he still couldn't find any trace of Mariah.

"Awe poor Tadashi is tired." Akuma said as she appeared in front of him.

On alert, Tadashi's instincts kicked in so he swiped his feet under Akuma causing her to fall on her back landing with a grunt. He took advantage of the position that she was in and sat on top of her holding a kunai to her neck.

"Tell me where she is now!" Tadashi demanded.

Akuma looked down at his kunai the back up at him. Her eyes turned back to normal as did his. She could see the rage in his eyes and how desperate he was to know where Mariah was located.

"It's almost too late....she'll be consumed by my aura soon." Akuma replied calmly.

"Tell me now!"

"No,"

Out of rage Tadashi plunged the kunai into Akuma's chest. Black blood splattered across his face and torso but it didn't matter to him. All he wanted was Mariah. Akuma then disappeared leaving a black skeleton in her place. Tadashi felt pressure on his back and flew forward. From behind he heard maniacal laughter. He looked back to see Akuma looking back at him.

"You'll have to do better than that,"

"Devil style: Skeletal army!"

Once again the ground began to shake, this time violently, making Tadashi fall to the ground just as he was getting up. The ground came to a halt then out of the ground black skeletal hands started to pop out. Soon black skeletons started to rise from the ground heading towards Tadashi. He started to count each of them counting 100 of them.  

"Let's see how you get out of this," Akuma chuckled.

Tadashi readied himself but he knew he wouldn't last long. His chakra was running low and he was exhausted. The skeletons surrounded him which kinda freaked him since he thinks they are staring at him. It was hard to tell since they really didn't have eyes. He closed his eyes taking in a deep breath before engaging the skeletons in combat.

"Let's get this over with," He sighed.

~Meanwhile~ :P had to do it hehe

With his Sharingan Obito threw grain shuriken towards Kakashi which he blocked by making a huge wall. Obito passed thru the wall wielding a Shuriken which he used to slash Kakashi's knee.

"Why...don't you shut up?" Obito panted. "You're trash that can only talk."

Kakashi then got sucked up into Obito's Sharingan seeing his last encounter with Obito.

"I think that the "white fang" is a real hero...it's true that in the ninja world people who break rules are considered trash..but people who don't care for their friends are even worse trash." Little Obito said.

Kakashi then was sucked out of the memory.

And he remember what Obito had said to him before.

"Probably because....you allowed Rin..to be murdered..."

"It's true that I'm trash...but Obito for all this time..." Kakashi thought. Activating his Mangekyou Sharingan. "You've been a hero to me..." He was then out of the genjutsu.

"The same eye....as expected you came back..." Obito said.

"Obito...why did you do it? Is it related....to Rin?"

Obito was silent and ran towards Kakashi. Obito jumped kneeing Kakashi in the face then thrusting the Shuriken into Kakashi. Memories flashed before Kakashi's eyes as Obito attacked. Before he could compose himself, Obito slashed a huge X into his torso causing blood to splatter across the rocky floor.

"I told you to shut up, trash. Die..."

"I couldn't keep....our promise. It's true, I'm trash. But you're...one of the Leaf's heroes...you don't have to become like me..."

"Hehehe this is reality....both the ones who give and the ones who are given. All the shinobi who were able to survive in this world become trash. We are one fine example..Kakashi."

Obito's words surprised Kakashi.

"No one can escape from this circle that keeps on creating new trash. That's why I'm gonna rebuild the world!"

Obito was about to strike the final blow on Kakashi but something stopped the attack. Naruto was holding onto the shuriken.

"I'm not trash! And I won't turn into trash!" Naruto shouted. "I won't....let you..I won't let you kill my friends!!"

Naruto's words shocked Kakashi. He recalled for when he had said those exact words back when they were battling Zabuza.

"Sorry Naruto....I taught you Obito's words....Yes I was the one about to falter!" Kakashi thought as he rose to his feet.

Madara sent his Susano'o hand towards Naruto but it was caught by Naruto's other hand. While Naruto was distracted Obito went to attack him but Kakashi made Chidori and stopped his attack. Bee attacked Madara's Susano'o so Naruto would have his full attention on Obito.

"Obito...what you left to me in the past...is still here! What I can do now is to protect Naruto!"
