(Mariah's POV)

"Meet Orochimaru? What do you mean? And who's the Human who knows everything?" Suigetsu questioned.

"It's of no concern to you." Sasuke replied coldly.

"What....this makes no sense. More importantly...you can't revive Orochimaru. I bet you intend to ask Orochimaru to use the power in that scroll.....but if you spend some time, then I bet you could even do it yourself. That's the whole reason I came looking for you...."

Sasuke jumped down from his rock.

"There are certain things that only Orochimaru can do."

"Sasuke, man....you were Orochimaru's highest disciple, weren't you? Then you should be able to..."

"Suigetsu....you..."

"What?"

"You underestimate Orochimaru far too much."

"T-The hell I do! I'm not underestimating him at all! It's the complete opposite! The reason you were able to defeat Orochimaru is simply because he couldn't use either of his arms due to the Shiki Fuujin! You're the one who's underestimating him! Even if you revived him, he probably wouldn't be able to use his arms! But that's the danger here! He'll go after your body again! Maybe even Mariah's since she's more powerful than you! If he finds out about this war he'll definitely take part in it! He wants to destroy Konoha too!"

"Suigetsu, he won't listen." I scolded.

I felt Suigetsu brush his hand against mine to catch my attention. I looked up at him and he gave me a questioning look. I gave him a smile to let him know that I was okay; I could tell Suigetsu wasn't buying it but he didn't press on. Sasuke went over to Anko placing her on her stomach revealing her curse mark starting to do hand signs.

"What is he planning?" I thought.

"Then we of the hawk would have to raise arms! Are you alright with that?! He managed to replace him....it's our age now!! No one wants to see that guy's face anymore! Nor do we need him screwing with our shit! Right Mariah!"

"Uh yeah sure," I replied.

"Can you be quiet for a bit, Suigetsu? No, wait. Go and scoop out a piece of Kabuto's body for me."

"You don't listen to what people tell you, and you think I'm gonna listen to you?"

"Then I'll do it," Juugo said.

"So this is how you're gonna play it, huh? You sure about this, Juugo? He's gonna fucking revive Orochimaru!"

"I don't care. Sasuke's will is Kimimaro's will....and I obey it."

He activated his curse mark and placed a hand on Kabuto taking a piece out of his chest making Suigetsu disgusted.

"What's wrong Suigetsu? Can't take a little gore?" I teased.

"Shut up Mariah! What the hell is that?"

"The people from my village call this Sennin Transformation. That's what my original transformation was....but my copy called it Curse seal Transformation."

"Kill Sasuke Mariah.......he'll never bother you again if you do." The demon said.

"What's your name again?" I thought.

"..........Suki..."

"Shut up Suki.....ha told her,"

"You're calm through this? He's going to revive Orochimaru and you're calm?"

"Why yes I am......Orochimaru can't touch me...."

"If you say so..."

Juugo then placed the chunk on Anko's curse mark and Sasuke put his hand on her neck. A snake then came out of her neck and Orochimaru came out of the snake's mouth. Suigetsu then hid behind me peeking his head from behind my shoulder.

"....To think.....that you would be the one to revive me." Orochimaru hissed.

He fully emerged from the snakes mouth standing up. He looked around spotting Kabuto. I will admit that I am afraid but I stood tall as his eyes landed on me. My heart was beating fast but I took deep breaths to calm me down. I saw a small smirk form on his lips which made my heart skip a beat.

"Why am I still afraid?"

"Orochimaru....there's something I need you to do for me." Sasuke said making Orochimaru look away from me.

"I don't need you to explain such a menial face to me...I've been watching you the entire time from within Anko. My senjutsu chakra was poured into this curse seal.....But as I was split from it, my consciousness also inhabited in it."

"Then...you know about the war?" I asked.

"Of course...I'll say only one thing about that.....Mariah.....I....have no interest in this war."

"That's a shocker." I said.

"It is a war that was started by someone else...What I'm interested.....is that young body of yours...Sasuke...or even yours my dear Mariah....You've grown quite strong since I last saw you.....Although....I don't have enough power to steal it yet."

"Don't even think about getting to me.....I've been through enough."

"Awe your insanity catching up with you? I've been watching you and seeing the inner conflict that you're having with yourself."

Sasuke then pulled out the scroll catching Orochimaru's attention.

"What do you want to meet them for?" Orochimaru questioned.

"I really wish I knew what they were talking about." I thought.

"I...don't know much. I want to hear everything from them."

"Everything? You don't need to know all that...you're still a child."

"You're wrong..........I am no longer a child...I can't be one anymore..What was the beginning? How should I be? What actions should I take?"

"You're not sure about taking revenge?"

" No. I'm not dotting on the revenge itself. Reuniting with Itachi only added to my hatred towards Konoha....but...The feelings of my brother, Itachi, who became a betrayer and died all to protect the village as a Konoha shinobi. What was Itachi? Our clan? The village? Then...I want to know everything. Think about it on my own and make my own answer......so I can stare at what must be done with my eyes and my own will."

Orochimaru was silent then walked over towards Kabuto which Suigetsu and I were right next to. Suigetsu then ran from hiding behind me to hiding behind Sasuke. I of course didn't move an inch.

"He's going to suck up all of Kabuto's power and kill him! You should be careful! He may try to take your head!" Suigetsu warned.

As he got closer, I took a deep breath and wondered.

"Why am I afraid of him? I have to be stronger than him. I have every kekkei genkai, I have dark chakra, I have Kurayami, I have the tailed beasts power. There's nothing to be afraid of."

He stood away from me and l looked at him with a confident face.

"So I'm guessing that Tobi couldn't break you Mariah.......and you've gotten over your fear...."

"I'm not afraid of anyone anymore." I said taking a step forward.

"What about needles?"

I stood my ground and glared at him.

"The way you are now...it's not bad." Orochimaru said turning to face Sasuke.

"Where?" Sasuke questioned.

"To a place you know well..."

He then sucked out Kabuto's power having him turn back into his original self.

"Look, he stole his power!"

"No...that's not what happened. He just released the sennin transformation and took out his own  chakra from inside Kabuto. Kabuto's chakra was untouched." Juugo explained.

"Fine, I'll assist you. Follow me. Come. Let's go."
