Lucy's pov

I woke up in a black and red room that had flame designs everywhere. I sat up and looked around there was a oak desk, a book self, a dresser and of course a bed. On the desk was a letter and it was glowing. I got up and walked over to the desk and grabbed the letter and read it.

'Lucy, you are in my castle in my room. You must not leave this room if you do Gray has my permission to as much as I hate the idea to chain you up in a cell. I am sorry if it does come to that I don't want you to hate me because of this. I'll see you soon in a dream I hope if not don't worry about me I'll be fine.

Natsu.'

I finished reading it when this sudden wave of pain made me scream and collapse. The door burst open revealing a raven haired demon who looked worried. He ran over to me.

"What happened?" He asked.

"I don't know just a sudden....Ahh....pain like someone I love got hurt severely." I said which made him gasp.

"That can't be possible only the person who is in love with a demon can feel when the other is hurt." He said which really confused me until I remembered that Natsu is half demon.

"No she wouldn't hurt him would she?" I muttered my eyes as wide as a golf ball.

"Who's he and she?" He asked with a concerned voice. I shook my head not wanting to say but the pain was still coming in excruciating waves. The demons eyes where filled with worry as he sat there not able to do any thing, but I soon passed out from the pain.

Gray's pov

I sat there with the girl called Lucy till she passed out from the pain, then I picked her up and set her in Natsu's bed and quickly left.

"She couldn't be in love with Natsu how could she unless....no that's not her he wouldn't fall for a human." I muttered as I closed the door. I sat by the door just encase she screamed again because of how much pain she was in from what ever demon she was in love with was getting hurt. I can't stand when a innocent girl human or not is hurt, Natsu is the same way I think that's why he had me put her in his room since he was gone.

Natsu's pov

I have almost passed out from the pain and the lack of air I was getting when the blue haired fairy flew through the window in the door. She stopped the chains from moving easing the pain from my wings that where broken.

"Fairy Magic: Wing Heal." She said but her spell didn't work "why didn't it work?"

"You don't know much do you?" I panted looking at her from the top of my eyes.

"What don't I know?" She asked. Despite how much pain I was in I still manged to smirk.

"True I may be half dragon but I'm also half demon fairy magic doesn't work on demons pure blood or not. My demon side cancels out your magic before it even retches my dragon side that will use the magic to heal." I explained chuckling a little but stopped wincing when my wings moved.

"But I want to help you even though your E.N.D." She said hovering back and forth like she was pacing in midair.

"Why do you want to help me fairy?" I asked raising my head a little so I could look at the pacing fairy.

"Well even though your only half dragon your still a mythological creature ." She said smiling a little.

"Well then a human raised fairy wanting to help their most powerful enemy. That's not something you hear every day now is it." I said "if you truly want to help then keep Erza occupied tell the day after tomorrow. Make sure she doesn't come down here till then, that way my wings will be healed, but to make sure ask Wendy how long it takes her wings to heal then times that by ten and you'll get how fast mine heal." Levy nodded and went to ask Wendy.

Lucy's P.o.v

The pain eased but was still there. Everything still hurt but the pain was going away slowly very slowly not to my liking though. The demon I now know as Gray came in with food.

"Hey are you alright?" He asked sounding concerned, I wasn't sure if it was sincere or not and it was really confusing.

"Ya the pain is still there just not as strong as it was before, anyway thanks for asking." I replied with a little wince. Hopefully he didn't see that. I thought with a smile so he wouldn't suspect anything.

"Okay good. Now if I may who is the demon your in love with, if you don't mind me asking that is." Gray said setting down the food.

"Uh I'd rather not say just yet if you don't mind waiting till this war is over ." I said looking at him. I was currently sitting at Natsu's desk that was in his room.

"Yes I didn't mean to pry." He sad walking away. I smiled as he closed the door and turned back to look at the picture that was on the desk of Natsu and his family. I looked down some how I felt like it was my fault that his father is dead, I just can't help but feel that way I know that is was my dad who killed him. I also can't stop thinking about those people who killed my mother I don't think it was Natsu's kingdom that did it and that's way this stupid war started again.

Alright minna I'm ending this chapter here yes i know it's a short chapter I'm sorry about that but I got a really good idea for the next chapter and I need to write it before I forget it. Thanks for understanding I will be updating more this week because I only have to days of school this week yay!!!
