The title and music gave me ideas. •>•

Cross looked around feeling goosebumps crawling down his spine. "What's this feeling?" He slowly felt something grab his leg as he then splashed deep into the oceans. He saw his reflection which creeped him out more.

It was himself.

"Who are you!" Cross shouted, his voice echoing the waters. "Your reflection. The song of the wind drives up to reveal even the denial secrets of within the heart." The voice answered as his reflection swam to him grabbing Cross's Collar.

"Your so intoxicated with Nightmare."

"No." Cross shook his head.

"You want him."

"Not true." Cross growled.

"Don't deny it. Don't say you hate Nightmare. It's the opposite after all."

"Even if you did hate him. Why are you still chasing after him?" Cross's head went fuzzy as he began to think. He's the type to not think to much knowing it'd make his skull explode.

"I don't... know." Cross fainted as he began to float deeper into the waters.

Cross woke up seeing himself to be on shore. His clothes were wet. Soaked. He looked up as it was nighttime. Stars being displayed. Cross looked up in awe.

He looked down as Hope began to deprive him.

"What if I can't save Nightmare." Cross gritted his teeth. "He's so far away. I'm out of reach." He sighed. "Out of reach huh?" He looked to see Nightmare. "Your not him. All of this is a Dream." Cross began to cry into his own arms. And he was right. It was.

"Your just a imagination. A fragment of my delusions." Cross cried as he let out terrible sobs. "Sorry Cross." Cross looked up.

"I hurted you more then I did. I didn't mean that." Said Nightmare as he shoved his hand in his pockets. The tone of his voice was so cold. "It was for a reason. I'm sorry that I hurted you. A lot. But you know, it's never gonna work out. You can't go to me. It's to risky." The words came out of Nightmare only made Cross more determined.

Wind breezes through the weather. Water slowly moved up the shore and down. Cross shook his head in persistence. "I won't give up Nightmare. I will get to you. Even if it means I'm going to hurt myself for it along with the consequences. You are my friend. And that's what... friends do." Cross retorted back to him.

"Cross." Nightmare looked away leaving Cross to lay flat as he pulled him to sit next to him. "C'mon sit with me. I know that, this is a dream. But it's the only chance I can be with you. Let's be together and stare at the sky. Not just for us being friends, but like we used to." Cross Said smiling.

Nightmare blushed faintly as he sighed. "Your such an idiot."

Silence filled the sky as they both sat together looked towards the night sky, enjoying the good old days of what used to be. Cross looked at him responding.

"But, I'm your idiot."
