Nightmare woke up. "I'm sorry. Whoever he is." Nightmare muttered. "Oh hey your up!" Nightmare looked to see Dream.

"Oh yes I am." Said Nightmare grinning softly. Dream nodded. "Let's go! We should eat!" Said Dream as he grabbed Nightmares hand and lead to the dining room.

Cross got up and went outside taking a walk. "Well it couldn't hurt to just walk outside for a change right?" Cross muttered to himself.

"Mama!" Cross looked at the kid who was on his mothers back. He gritted his teeth. Used to be what his mom used to do.

Cross kept walking. Keeping his hood up. The fur covering his face. Cross then kept walking thinking about that skeleton in his dreams.

'I wish I could just go back to sleep at this rate.' Cross mentally groaned in his head. He then kept walking.

He looked at the forest and scenery. Other monsters were also walking. Same with humans. Cross kept walking looking down. Thinking of everything as of today.

'I wonder why I couldn't meet Nightmare. This is confusing.' Cross muttered. 'Why do I just have to stay here. If I'm always Cast aside. Ignored always.'

It soon reached almost nighttime. How many walks did Cross take? We'll Cross took a breather. He then got inside and saw a letter that had his name on it.

It was delivered. He then opened the sealing thing off the envelope and read the letter.

Hey Cross!

I was just wondering how your doing. It's me Killer. And I was just wondering-well yeah! Anyways me and Dust got worried. But we're going to be traveling in a bit. But we'll be back soon. Anyways we sent our regards and chocolate! I don't know how your feeling. But just we'll be there!

Cross looked down and saw a chocolate bar. He nibbled on it. "Least something good happened!" Cross smiled happily as he then collapsed on the bed dozing off to sleep.

Cross woke up to saw the skeleton as usual. "Hey!" Cross waved. He ran to him. "Oh Hey Cross..." Nightmare was a lot gloomier than usual.

"What's wrong?" Cross asked. "The villagers..." Nightmard muttered. Cross frowned as he then hugged Nightmare.

"I'm sorry..." Cross mumbled. "I will meet you one day. And you just have to endure it for a while. I'm here for you." Said Cross.

Nightmare nodded. "Thanks." Said Nightmare. "By the way it's Cross. For I haven't mentioned." Said Cross.

"It's alright. I'm Nightmare." Said Nightmare. "I knew I just guessed." Cross snickered. "Whatever." Nightmare groanned in annoyance.

"I have to wake up soon do I now?" Cross asked looking away. Nightmare nodded. "We're probably going to meet someday." Nightmare grinned.

"So don't worry."
