The Park
I sat up and quietly made breakfast. I left a note on the counter saying I had to go out. I was going to the park. I knew they would want to join me once they woke up. I silently exited my house and began my walk to the park. When I arrived I sat down on the swings and began my weekend routine. I just sat on the swings enjoying the sounds of children playing happily. I felt my phone buzz. I answered it. "Hello?"
"WHERE ARE YOU!?" Hikaru called.
"Calm down I'm at the park. I left you guys a note on the counter." I giggled. I heard silence for a moment before I heard him groan in discomfort. "Sorry, you just scared us when we woke up and saw you not here. We'll be right over." The line went dead. I sighed. So much for a quiet morning. About ten minutes later, you heard the guys arguing. "No, it was Hikaru's fault for calling her before we searched for a note."
"Well, it was YOUR idea to call her Kaoru." I rolled my eyes and whistled. They looked up and saw me. I waved and they came running over. Hikaru choked me in a hug. "Hikaru-can't-breathe." I gasped. He let go and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "Sorry, you really scared us." He grinned. I rolled my eyes and continued to swing. "So, why choose this park, it's certainly not the closest." Kyoya asked, I looked at my feet. "My parents used to take me here all the time when I was little. When I sit here and look at the playground, I can almost see me as a child playing on it. It sounds silly, I know, but it helps me relax." I was smiling. I noticed them blushing. "What?" I noticed Tamaki looked like he was about to burst. "YOU'RE SO ADORABLE!" He called choking me in a hug. "What is it with you guys-and death hugs." I choked. He set me down. "Baka!" I cried catching my breath. That caused everyone to go into a fit of laughter. "Hikaru, same goes for you." I smiled. He frowned and Kaoru laughed harder. Hikaru punched Kaoru lightly in the shoulder. They began wrestling and just watching it made me smile. They were still like children, deep down. I had to grow up too early. I sighed. "Is something wrong?" Kyoya asked. I shook my head. "No, just seeing the twins acting like children made me realize just how fast I had to grow up. It's no big deal." I smiled. "Anyways, I'm bored. What should we do today?" The looked at me. "Hey, y/n, do you like to play games?" Tamaki asked. I nodded. "Who doesn't?" I retorted. he chuckled. "Kyoya, usually." I giggled. "That one doesn't surprise me." He frowned. "And just what is that supposed to mean?" he asked grumpily. "It means you need to loosen up." I giggled. he rolled his eyes. I poked him in the cheek. "It also wouldn't kill you to smile, unless you know, you can't." I teased. He smiled as he began chasing me. "Guys! Help me catch her! I swear she's going to get it!" He yelled. I laughed as they chased me. I ran onto the play structure. The twins were on either side of the bridge I was on. I laughed as I jumped up, causing them to run right into each other. I used them as leverage and dodged Mitskuni who landed on his face. I ran and quickly climbed a tree. I then secretly switched into a tree a couple trees down. "Where'd she go?" I heard them yell. I heard Kyoya laugh. He called me and my phone went of.. Damn it. I thought as they appeared at the base of the tree. Mitskuni began climbing up, along with Takashi. they both lunged for me, but missed and ended up colliding with each other. I dropped down and stared at them with a smile. Only ones who were left were Tamaki and Kyoya. Haruhi, of course, was not participating. Tamaki ran at me but I stepped aside making him run into the tree. "Then there was one." I smiled. He smirked as he looked behind me. "Rats." I said. Mitskuni had gotten up and grabbed my arm. "I did it! I did it! I caught the elusive y/n-Chan!" he called making me laugh. "Well it sure took you guys long enough." Kyoya walked over and pecked me on the lips. I felt my face heat up like an oven. "Ky-Kyoya?! What the hell!" I squeaked. "That's your punishment for teasing me." He smirked. The twins scowled and started yelling at Kyoya. Mitskuni tugged on my shirt. "Was that your first kiss?" He asked. I nodded slowly. "I.WILL.END.HIM." Was all I heard. Before I knew it everybody was after Kyoya. he just smirked. "Jealous?" They nodded angrily, all except tamaki. I rolled my eyes and walked away. I decided to take a walk with Haruhi whilst the boys bickered. We hadn't gotten too far when my phone rang. "Hello?"
"Ok, where did you guys go?" Kyoya asked. I giggled. "Everywhere and nowhere." I replied. I heard him sigh. "Seriously where are you?" I sighed. "We're walking and just because we're not right there doesn't mean-" I was cut off by somebody throwing my phone to the ground. I looked up. Seeing who it was, I grabbed Haruhi's arm and ran back towards the guys. I saw them com into view. I yelled and they came up to us. I was in tears. "Who was that y/n?" Haruhi asked. I sobbed. "That's the person who murdered my parents." They went cold. They all hugged me close. I felt horrible. "Are you going to be ok?" They asked. I shrugged. "I-I don't know. I had only barely made it out alive the first time. What if he was coming to finish the job?" I cried. "Oh, we were. Your head is mine bitch." I looked up and saw him standing there with about fifty goons. They all had big weapons. I scowled. I managed to kick him where the sun don't shine. "You little! KILL HER!" He shouted. before they could even move, Takashi and Mitskuni had knocked them out cold. They moved to the leader. "Go on, DO IT!" He spat. They kicked him in the face. I just shut my eyes. I couldn't bear to think of dying or my friends getting hurt because of me. I didn't realize Kaoru had picked me up and we were walking home. I could hear nothing but silence as we solemnly walked back to my house.
