Chapter One;
The Aftermath .

One month after the war

"HE'S WAKING UP GUYS HE'S WAKING UP!" The young shinobi squinted his eyes adjusting them to the light. "Wh-where am I?" He asked as he looked around.

Everyone in the room cheered, ignoring Sasukes question. When all of a sudden they hear something shatter and turn to see at the door way Hinata with a shocked expression on her face.

Tears starting to fall from her lavender eyes. "S-Sasuke!" She ran towards him pushing everyone out of the way. "Y-your finally awake" she cried as she embraced the wounded shinobi.

"Uh yeah , but where am I? And what do you mean finally?" He asked once again. Everyone stood there quiet.

Until a blonde teen with whiskers on his face spoke up. "Your home Sasuke, believe it." He gave him a thumbs up and a teeth showing smile.

"Hmm, Naruto why are you in a wheel chair? And why are you covered in bandages? Also no one answered my question," he said emotionless.

Kakashi spoke up "Everyone please wait outside, ill talk to Sasuke that includes you too Hinata." She nodded understandingly.

"Alright" he said as he sat next to Sasuke.

Ten minutes after he explained everything.

"Really? She came everyday?" Kakashi sweat dropped at the questions Sasuke made, ignoring the whole battle with Madara.

"Yes Sasuke, Hinata AND Naruto along with Sakura came everyday." Said Kakashi.

"Yeah yeah, but Hinata was always here while I was in a comma?" Kakashi nodded.

"She made sure you always had clean bandages and brought you flowers whenever they died out" Sasuke couldn't help but smile.

"Earth to Sasuke" said Kakashi as he waved his hand hand in front of the dark haired Shinobi.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Who is it?" Asked Kakashi.

"Uh, I-it's me Hi-Hinata, may I come in Kakashi sensei.

"Yes Hinata you may."

She slid the door open and walked in making sure to shut it behind her. "H-how are you feeling Sasuke?"

"I'd been better" he said looking away.

"Well I better get going before Gai comes looking for me again" Kakashi waved as he made his way out.

Hinata sat down next to Sasukes bed. "Hinata" she looked at Sasuke. "Y-yes?"

"Is it true you were here everyday watching me?" A small faint blush appeared on his pale cheeks as he avoided eye contact with her.

She nodded "actually I never left your side unless necessary" she smiled at him.

"Hn."

"Sasuke?"

"What?" He said still avoiding eye contact.

"Th-thank you" she said as she fiddled with her fingers.

He rose an eyebrow confused "Huh? For what?"

"F-for saving me" she said as she blushed.

He looked away embarrassed "Oh. Yeah. Whatever."

She smiled a little while she fiddled with her fingers.

They sat there in silence until a certain blonde came bursting in followed by an annoyed pinkette.

"Naruto! Can't you see Hinata's talking with Sasuke!" She punched the blonde on the head. "Ow , ow , ow Sakura ! No need to hit me I just wanted to see Sasuke." He said as he rubbed his head.

"I know Naruto , but we'll talk to him later for now let's go on a date or something I'll even pay this time." The pinkette sighed and took Naruto away.

Sasuke's Point of View

I sat there not knowing what to say, "So... Naruto and Sakura?" Hinata smiled and nodded.

"Since when?" I asked curiously not that I cared but I know Hinata used to have a somewhat crush on the dobe.

"Almost a year now," she spoke softly I noticed there was no sign of sadness in her voice.

"What do you think about their relationship?" I know I was probably annoying her with so many questions but, I didn't care.

I suppose the question caught her off guard cause a small pink covered her cheeks, "I-I uhm, their a very nice couple. N-Naruto-kun deserves to be happy with the one he loves."

I nodded in agreement, "Hinata do you know when I will be able to leave?"

"You should be able to leave in a day or so, I took the liberty to ask earlier. Sorry."

I felt my cheeks tint with a light pinch, 'Wow I'm surprised she asked, without anyone asking her to.'

"It's alright, but it's getting late. Maybe you should go home." She stood up quickly, "Wh-What? No, no way am I leaving you alone Sasuke."

Hinata Hyuga, had just opposed to what I , Sasuke Uchiha had said. "Hyuga. There's no need for you to stay I'm fine."

She shook her head and crossed her arms, "Nope. No way am I leaving."

I tried to hold back my laugh, this girl really was something. I remember when she would always stutter, now here she is talking back to me like I'm just another ordinary guy.

She looked cute, wait d-did I just say cute. I blushed once more but not bright enough for her to notice.

I let out a small chuckle and nodded, "Fine you can stay."

With that she gave a victorious smirk, and sat down. "It's not like I would've left anyways," she giggled softly.

I smiled at her, "You should get some rest Sasuke." I nodded, "Hinata can you come closer I'd like to tell you something."

She arched a brow confused as she leaned in. I whispered in her ear, "Thanks for everything, Hyuga." I kissed her cheek softly and closed my eyes as a smile crawled onto my face.

"Y-Your welcome Sasuke-kun." Those were the last words I heard before I drifted off to sleep.
