A/n Gilderoy Lockhart has a heavy involvement in this chapter, negative comments about him will NOT be tolerated.

My first two meetings with McGonagall and Flitwick went well and where as informative as I had hoped from them both. My meeting with Lockhart well that...how to put it...was informative but for different reasons. I mean sure I got to learn a lot just not what I had been fully expecting to learn. The meeting had started just after lunch,as Gilderoy had a free lesson only the talk went on a lot longer than I had originally thought.

"So what you are saying is,to have a good chance of potentially teaching Defence Against The Dark Arts I will need a good knowledge of the dark arts and defensive magic as well." I say
"Well yes and no" Lockhart said" Yes that is what you need to teach this lesson but also no because you need more than just that. You will also Miss Black need first hand experience."
"What kind of experience,like fighting a dark wizard?" I ask,I mean I've duelled Gellert and he is a bad boy so that might count.

"No not fighting a dark wizard,I mean first hand experience teaching" Gilderoy said standing up
"I do have first had experience teaching" I say" I have taught people how to play quidditch and I have also taught duelling,which is tricky"
"That is good but you don't have as much experience as I do" Gilderoy said,he walked over to the class room door and opened it"Good Afternoon everyone come in" I watched as the third years piled into the room.

"What's going on?" I ask as the students all take there respective seats
"This is how you will get first hand experience,by helping me teach this lesson" Gilderoy told me. So that is how I spent the next two and a half hours, teaching third year students. Well it was more like me making sure that Lockhart stayed on topic. He did sometimes tend to stray from the lesson topic,his heart is in the right place well when he isn't trying to be arrogant.

When the second lesson finished I stood at the front of the empty classroom
"So Miss Black how did you like my lesson, really good right?" Gilderoy asked as he cleaned the blackboard
"Well it was actually a good lesson in part,but..."I say trailing off
"But what?" He asked turning to face me
"Don't get me wrong you have become a decent teacher,but you really need to stay on topic of the lesson." I explained
"Well you aren't wrong there,but how would you suggest that I stay on topic?" Gilderoy asked me.

"Well all teachers have lesson plans and they stick to them as much as possible,so why not have prompt cards on your desk. That way if you lose your place or start to wonder off topic you can use the cards to carry on" I suggest
"That could work" Gilderoy said" I will say that if you don't get to teach duelling,you are more than welcome to teach with me"
"Thank you I will keep that in mind" I said,I headed out of the classroom and down to the dungeons to relax before dinner time arrives.

Whilst heading to the dungeons it occurred to me that all three teachers that I have spoken to,all hope that I get to teach along side them. I mean I certainly wouldn't mind teaching any of the lessons but duelling is the one I want to do most. Duelling has always been a strong point for me and now with Gellert's teaching I'm even better than before. I'm not as good as he is but I can certainly hold my own against him and others,I'm still the school duelling champion as well. Hmm that gives me an idea,since the duelling contest last year had been Gellert's idea I wonder if he would want to do another one.

Instead of heading to the duengons I changed direction and instead headed to where my boyfriend is having his meetings. I hope to talk to him before dinner about my idea. I didn't have to wait to long as the meeting ended not long after I arrived,I waited for most of the teachers to leave the I saw Gellert come out of the room. He looked to be in a bad mood
"Gellert"I said catching his attention
"Chaz I wasn't expecting to see you" Gellert said
"Well I had an idea and came to talk to you about it. But that can wait for now,what's wrong handsome?" I ask.

"It's just all these meetings and now I've been told that since the incident earlier in the year with that Ravenclaw girl,I now will have to undergo evaluations each month."Gellert tells me
"But why you where proven to be right,I saw to that" I say
"I know sweetheart but the jerks at the minstery want to be certain,and to keep an eye on this school" Gellert tells me
"So to do that they have to choose to 'check on' an innocent man"I say annoyed" Typical ministry"

"Yes but there isn't long left of the year so I won't have to deal with many" Gellert said
"It's still not fair though"I tell him
"Don't worry to much about it my love,I certainly won't" Gellert tells me
"Okay if you say so"I say
"I do" Gellert said giving me a kiss on the lips" Now you said you had an idea?"
"I did"I say
"I always knew my kisses melt your brain" said Gellert
"It's not only that my brain that melts when you kiss me" I say
"Dirty girl" Gellert said smirking" Let's discuss your idea over dinner."
