Gellert's P.O.V

I have never been one for giving out advice on romance,I mean I don't exactly have the best track record with women. But this time I made a small exception,I am sat alone in the staff room reading a book my girlfriend had given me. Chaz her self is currently hanging out with her friends or being up to no good as Matt so happily put it. I had just started on a new chapter of the book,when the staff room door opened as Lockhart entered the room.

"Ah Professor Grindelwald I was looking for the headmaster, has he been here recently?" Lockhart asked
"Not in the last hour he hasn't,I think he is on a date" I tell him
"Oh bother"Gilderoy said sitting down opposite me" What am I going to do now?" I put the book down and look over to the D.A.D.A professor
"Perhaps I can be of some assistance"I offered"unless you'd rather get a boring lecture from beard face"

"Well...it's a bit of a secret...sort of" Gilderoy said,I said nothing as I waited for him to continue " You won't tell anyone else about this,will?"
"That you have a secret girlfriend" I said casually
"Great Scott,how did you know?" Gilderoy asked me surprised
"I do also have a secret girlfriend,the sings aren't to hard to miss" I said
"Yes I see"Gilderoy said
"Your problem?" I asked.

"Oh yes right" Gilderoy said double checking the room to make sure we are alone" You see my girlfriend Lenore Henderson it's her birthday soon,and I want to get her something special. Not just because she is my girlfriend and she looks after my niece's but because she means so much to me and has helped me a lot like your Miss Black has"Gilderoy explained
"I see well when it comes to birthday's ,it's not what you get it's the thought and effort you put into it" I said.

"Right,so what do suggest?" Lockhart asked
"How many gifts do wish to get her?"I asked
"One or two more really special ones" he said
"Then get something made that represents your relationship" I said " Like what Chaz made for me for Christmas last year,two necklaces to represent each of us"
"Okay I think I do that,what else?" Gilderoy asked
"You said this woman means a lot to you?" I ask
"Yes Lenore means lots to me" Gilderoy said.

"Do you love her and does she love you?" I asked him
"Lenore loves me she has told me multiple times,I...not quite as much" Lockhart said
"Why not,if Lenore means the world to you and you can't picture your future life without her in it. If she is the reason you smile and feel alive every day,then you tell her you love her. And never be shy to show it either" I tell him,and I meant every word I had said. Without Chaz in my life I wouldn't know what I would do,I certainly wouldn't be as happy as I am now,even if I don't always look it,Chaz is my world.

"I see I still have a lot to learn" Lockhart said
"Id say just more about telling your woman that you love her,but other than that no one can tell you the right way to be in a relationship. As there is no right or wrong way" I tell him "How long until Lenore's birthday?"
"Almost a month" Gilderoy said
"Then use that time to tell her how she makes you feel,and then on her birthday treat her like a Queen" I tell him" Spend the day together just the two of you, doing something special. It doesn't have to be grand just from the heart"

"How do you know so much?" Lockhart asked
"I just speak from my experience in my own relationship" I say shrugging
"What if she doesn't want to celebrate her birthday,what then?" Gilderoy asked
"If she doesn't wish to celebrate that is her choice,just make sure she knows you will support her decision." I said
"Right then" Lockhart said standing up" I've got a lot to do" and with that he left the room in a hurry,I picked the book back up and went back to my reading.
