"Sarah, you are being a complete bitch.  You act like this is something I prayed would happen!  I wasn't there to strip them of their clothes!  I wasn't there telling your daughter to spread her legs or cheer them on!  None of this is my fault!  It's yours and you know it."

"Ladies, why don't we calm down and speak like ad-"

"Shut up, Danny!" Sarah yells.

"Don't tell him to shut up!"

"This is YOUR fault, Jessica Lange.  No one else's.  As a mother you have to teach your children what is right and what is wrong."

"Sarah, calm down.  Jessica is not a bad mom." Evan says.

"Stay out of this, Evan!" Sarah raises her voice.

"Sarah, don't tell my wife she's a bad mother, we both know that's not true."

"Oh but it is!"

"This was YOUR fault, Sarah!  You have to let kids be kids and not shelter them because they will Act Out!  You have no one to blame but yourself, now get out of my house."

"Come on you two!  This is the last time you'll be hanging out with a Huston, so say goodbye!"

"NO MOM!  Stop being this way!  It wasn't aunt Jessie's fault!  I love Noah and he loves me!  You said no and it made me want to be with him even more!  If it's anyone's fault, it's yours!"

"Let's Go!"

Kenley looked at Noah, then back to her parents.
She quickly walked over to Noah and held him tightly.

"I love you!  I love you so much!" She sobs.

"I love you too."

"I'll see you soon."

"Bye.."

Kenley kissed his cheek and left the house.
She was so upset she was shaking.

"Noah, go upstairs.  You're grounded, so don't ask me to go anywhere."

"Yes ma'am."

Once Noah leaves Jessica sits down and sighs.

"You did well."

Jessica rubs her face then finally breaks.
"Danny, am I a horrible mother?"

"No!  Jessica, don't even listen to her!  She's just upset and she's blaming everyone but herself.  Don't worry about it, baby."

"I don't think I did anything wrong.  I didn't tell them to sneak off.."

"You didn't do anything wrong, sweetie."

Just then the door flies open.
"I'm hooome!"

Jessica and Danny just stare at Gabriella.
"Gee, welcome home, Gabriella!"

"I'm sorry.  How are you, my beautiful girl?" Jessica stands up and hugs her.

"I'm doing well! What's wrong? Are you upset?"

"Oh just.. your stupid brother!"

"Which one? They're both equally stupid."

"Noah!"

"What's he do?"

"He slept with Kenley."

"What!" Gabriella's eyes go wide.

"Sarah came over and told me how horrible of a parent I am."

"Are you serious? That's crazy!
You don't believe her, do you?"

"I don't know.."

"Well you shouldn't! Those two are both stupid for even doing this! Where did they even go?"

"George's house."

"Oh my gosh! Sickos!"

"I know.. I need to start on dinner, what would you like, baby?"

"Lasagna." Gabriella smiles.

"Well you're getting tacos."

"That sounds delicious too!" She laughs.

Gabriella walks up to Noah's bedroom and knocks on the door.

"Come in.."

"Noah!" Gabriella flings the door open.

"What the hell did you do?! You didn't even listen to me!"

"Gabby, I just got yelled at by everyone, now is not the time."

"I don't fucking care! What did I tell you about sneaking around with her?"

"I know."

"Did you use protection?"

"Everyone keeps asking us that!"

"Well did you?!"

"We did the first time!"

"How many times did you do it?!"

"Twice! The second time I just.. I didn't mean to and she was on to-"

"Noah please stop right there!"

"Gabby, it was early in the morning and we had breakfast right after, maybe it didn't work!"

"Noah, that is just the dumbest thing I have ever heard you say."

"Well she just can't get pregnant!"

"Noah, I'm sure she's not. But you should have been more careful!"

"I know.."

"Well you have fun being grounded for the rest of your life."

"Bye, Gabby!" He says annoyed.

Gabriella walks out of his room and Isaiah was standing right outside of his door.

"You knew about them?!"

"You didn't?"

"I knew he got a hickey from someone but I didn't know it was Kenny!"

"Well who the hell else would it be?"

"I don't know! I've been listening to the fighting going on all morning! Ana went down to get more information but mom yelled at her and sent her back up."

Gabriella chuckles.

"I can't believe you knew and didn't say anything!"

"I'm too cool to rat someone out"

"Well now he's gotten into trouble and You could've stopped it!"

"Don't blame me!"

"Well it's kinda your fault."

"I didn't force them to do it!"

"But still.  You should've said something."

"Alright already!  Climb out of mom and dad's ass!"

Gabriella walks away and goes to Anastasia's room.

"Hey Princess!"

"Gabby!" Anastasia jumps up and runs to hug her sister.

"I missed you!"

"Aw!  I missed you too!  How's school?"

"Okay.  I'm taking extra classes so I can graduate early."

"Wow, really?  That's awesome!"

"Yeah and mom is going to look into acting classes for me!"

"Aw Ana, that's so exciting!  I know you'll be a great actress!"

"Thank you!  So you know Noah and Kenley fucked?"

"Anastasia!" Gabriella gasps.

"Don't say that word!  Yes I know, but don't say that!"

"Aunt Sarah was really mad."

"I know.. it's understandable but she doesn't have to be so mean to mom."

"Yeah.."

"Hey, why don't I take you to the mall and we can have like a girls day!  I'll buy you whatever you want!"

"Really?  Awesome!"

Two weeks later.

"Have you heard from Sarah, Jess?"

"No and I don't care."

"You two are best friends-"

"WERE best friends!  I have nothing to say to that woman."

"Jessie." Danny hums.

"What?  I don't!"

"I think you two should talk it over."

"I'm not going to call her.  Now leave me alone!"

Danny sighs and lays down.

Evan and Sarah's POV.

"Sar, I think you should call Jess and apologize."

"For what?  I did nothing wrong."

"Sarah, you were being unnecessarily rude to her and you know it."

"I was not!"

"Look, I'm heartbroken over this.  Ken is my princess and it hurts my heart knowing this went on.. however, she confessed and said it was her idea and because of our rules, she felt the need to act out.  Maybe we shouldn't have been so strict with her."

"She was fourteen, Evan!"

"I know but like Jessica said it's mostly just a title. Kids like to say they have a boyfriend and maybe go to the movies or whatever. We said no and she's been sneaking around behind our back for a year."

"So you agree with her?"

"I'm just saying that maybe we should have gone about it differently."

Sarah scoffs and turns on her side.

"Then again I know absolutely nothing.. right?"

Sarah doesn't respond.
Evan sighs and stares up to the ceiling.

So when I first started writing "The Kiss" I thought it would be a lot easier to write both at the same time, but obviously I forget about it quite a lot because this story is many many years ahead! I think I'm going to end that story and just go back and forth between families with this story.
