The next morning.

"Are you going to be okay with Charlotte while I go to brunch with Sarah?"

"Of course! You and Grandpa are gonna have a fun day, aren't we, Charlie?"

"Yeah!!" Charlotte shouts.

Danny chuckles.
"We'll be fine, baby. You go and have fun."

"Alright.."

Jessica hears Sarah's car door.
"Oh she's here! Bye, baby." Jessica places her hand on his cheek and kisses him softly.

"Bye bye, Charlie."

"Where you goin?"

"I'm gonna spend some time with Nana."

"My Nana?!" Her eyes widen.

"Yes your Nana!"

"Can I go too?"

"Hey what about me?!" Danny says.

"I go wit Nana and my Gamma!"

"Fine the I guess I'll go to the park all by myself!"

"NO! I go to da park too!"

"No, you want your old grandmothers!"

"No I want my old Gampa!"

"Thanks." Danny chuckles.

Jessica opens the door for Sarah and Charlotte runs to her.

"NANA!"

"My Charlie Parley! How are you today, sweet girl?"

"I good! I go to da park wit gampa!"

"Oh how fun!"

Sarah smiles softly and takes a deep breath.
"You ready?" She asks in a low voice.

Jessica nods.

"You girls have fun and don't get into too much trouble."

"Alright." Jessica gives him a soft smile.

Jessica sat in the car on the way to the doctor and cried.

"Jessica, it's gonna be okay." Sarah reaches over and rubs her back.

"No it's not. I know it's back! My boobs hurt, I threw up a few times, my appetite is gone.. this is exactly how I felt the last time."

"Maybe you're pregnant." Sarah chuckles.

Jessica gives her a look that could kill.
"This really isn't funny, Sarah. It's not that type of sickness.. it's different."

"I'm sorry.. I was just trying-"

"I know."

Danny's POV.

"I running faster than you, Gampa!"

"I'm gonna get you, Charlie! Just wait!"

"NOOOO!" She says in a high pitches scream as her little legs go faster and faster.

"Got you! You can't out run me!"

"You gotted Me!"

"I did!"

Charlotte cracks up laughs in her grandfather's arms.

"Okay no more playing I gots to get ice cweam!"

"Ice cream break already? What about lunch?"

Charlotte places her finger in front of her lips.
"Shh! Don't tell my mommy!"

Danny laughs.
"You got money for this ice cream you're wanting?"

"No!"

"Well how are we gonna pay for it!"

"You gots da moneys!"

"I do?!" Danny widens his eyes.

"Yeah!" She giggles.

"Oh alright!" Danny plays along.

"What flavor do you want."

"Me want them all!" Charlotte hits her chest.

"All of them?! That's a tummy ache just waiting to happen!"

"Okay okay, banilla!"

"Banilla?" Danny chuckles.

"Yes! No! No! No! I change my mind to stwawberry!"

"Are you sure?"

"I so sure, Gampa!" She says in a serious way as she nods.

"Okay!" Danny chuckles.

Danny and Charlotte sat on a bench eating their ice cream over by a little pond.

"Look at da ducks!" Charlotte smiles and points.

"I know! How many ducks are there, Charlotte?"

"They's two of em!" She holds her little fingers up and looks at her grandfather.

"Good girl! You are so so smart!"

"Yeah!" She says licking her ice cream.

"You're all messy now!" Danny chuckles and tries cleaning her up.

"I not gonna take no bath!"

"I didn't even ask that yet!"

"But I no gonna!" She raises her voice.

"Okay!" Danny laughs.

Jessica and Sarah's POV.

"Sarah, it's the room."

"What about the room?"

"This is the room they sat Danny and I in when they told me I had breast cancer. I told you it was back! I had this gut feeling."

"It's gonna be okay, Jessie." Sarah rubs her back.

"I just hate this! It was so hard the last time.. what if it's worse? What if I get so sick I can't even play with Charlie? What if.. what if I die?"Jessica says in a tearful whisper.

"Stop that! Don't say that! You don't even know what it is yet!"

Jessica nodded and nervously rocked her body back and forth.

Sarah didn't say anything but she was starting to really panic as well. Even though on the inside she was freaking out, she tried to make Jessica feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

After leaving the doctors office Jessica wasn't feeling herself. It was like an out of body feeling.
Danny was sitting on the couch with his glasses on. He was scrolling on his laptop when she came in.

"Baby! Baby, I have a surprise for you!" He places his laptop on the seat and takes his glasses off before running over to Jessica.

"Hm? You have a surprise for me? Well I have-"

"In August all of the kids will be in school and you and I will be in Europe! How amazing is that?! I booked it and it's all set! I've finally got my baby girl back ALL to myself!" Danny wraps his arms around Jessica and slowly sways back and forth.

"Danny?"

"Yes, Babydoll?"

"I'm pregnant."
