"Well you get to bed, honey.  Get a good nights rest and tomorrow you can talk to Emily."

"She's going to be so happy."

"Nighty night, Zaya!"

Jessica happily walks into the bedroom.

"Everything okay?" Danny asks half asleep.

"Everything is great!  I've figured everything out." She smiles.

"So what's up?"

"I'm going to have Isaiah and Emily's baby." Jessica smiles.

Danny's mouth opens and he freezes.

".. What?"

"I'm going to carry the baby for them!"

"Jess, you.. What?!"

"Daniel, this is annoying. You know what the hell I said!"

"But I don't understand. Jessica, first of all.. aren't you old?  Cause the last time I checked, you were!"

"I will go to the doctor and they're do what needs to be done in order for me to have a baby."

"Okay.. But he's your son."

"Danny, I'll only be carrying the baby for them!  The baby will not be mine!  The baby is my grandchild and that's it!  It's like I'll be babysitting for nine months!"

"Jess, this is a lot!  This is a huge decision, you can't just decide that fast.  You have to think about it first."

"Danny, he is my son!  I told him I would do anything for him! There's nothing to think about."

"But having his child?!  Jessica, isn't that a bit much?"

"You know what, Daniel.  I don't care.  He is my son and I will help him in any way that I can.  If I can give them a baby, then you bet your ass I'm going to!  Do not question me again because my mind is made up."

"I just feel like you should think about it, that's all."

"There's no need for that.  I've made my decision.  Now goodnight."

The next morning.

The twins woke Emily up by slapping their little hands on her face. The exact way they wake their parents.

"Guys, guys I'm up!" She laughs.

"We gots wee wees." Willow pokes her diaper.

"Mama and dada change us in the morning time."

"Do you want me to take you to them."

"Mommy and daddy here?!" Emerson smiles.

"They're here, buddy!"

"Yay!  Take us to mama and dada peeeese!"

"Okay, let's get down.  Your brother never came to bed?"

"We no know, silly butt!" Willow laughs.

"Heh! Well okay, let's go to mommy and daddy."

"Yay! Mommy and daddy! Mommy and daddy!" Willow cheers.

Emily helps them off the bed and Willow lifts her hands.

"Up peese!"

"Me too!  Me too!" Emerson lifts his arms and runs in place.

"I don't know if I'm strong enough for both of you little stinkers."

He giggles as she holds him on her hip.

"Mama!  Dada!  Mama!  Dada!" The twins sang all the way to their parents' room.

Jessica groans. "Daniel.. someone's at the door." Jessica swings her arm over and hits him in the face.

"Dannyyyy!" She whines.

Danny lifts his head and looks around with sleepy eyes. "Babe, it's open!  Come in!" He shouts.

Emily walks in with the twins and sits them on the bed.

"Good morning!  I have presents for you guys!" She smiles.

"Oh gosh, what'd you bring them in here for?" Danny jokes.

"Aww!" Emily laughs.

"Daddy!" They both shout.

"I'm just kidding!  Morning, cuties!" Danny kisses them then makes a face. "You two smell like piss."

"We need diapey's!" Willow says crawling on top of Jessica who was now sleeping on her stomach.

"Wake up!  Wake up!  Wake up!  Wake up!" She hits her butt.

"Hey dats mama's booty!" Emerson says crawling over.

Willow looks at her brother and watches as he bangs his head into her butt and cracks up laughing.

"It squishy!" He giggles.

"Me twy!  Me twy!" Willow pushes him and does what he was doing.

"Daniel, stop slapping my ass, I'm not in the mood!" Jessica groans.

"It's not me, babe." He says with a yawn.

Jessica turns around and looks at the twins.

"Well good morning to you too, guys!"

"Mama up!" Willow cheers.

"Change us!" Emerson says narrowing his brows and slapping Jessica's stomach.

"Yeah we wet and no one change us!"

"Poor babies!" Emily laughs.

"Okay we'll change you!  Smelly booties!"

"Hey YOU Smewy Bootie!" Emerson once again hits her stomach.

"Will you stop hitting me, child?"

"No hit mama's belwy!" Willow softly caresses her stomach.

That simple gesture reminded Jessica of her and Isaiah's conversation the night before.

"I think I smell breakfast." Jessica sniffs. "Emily, go down and grab you something. Thank you again for watching our little devils."

"Aw! It was no problem!" She chuckles.

Jessica smiles. "We'll be down in a second, love."

"Okay."

Emily shuts the door and Jessica gets excited. "She has no idea!"

"Jessica, please think about this. You just said last night you're happy you never have to have another baby again!"

"Oh Danny, this is different! I told you I'm having this baby, and that's exactly what's going to happen!"

"Mama habing a baby?" Willow asks.

"No sweets, mama's not having a baby."

"Goot!" She nods.

Jessica chuckles and messes with her hair.

"Good morning my love!" Emily said making her way to her husband.

"Good morning beautiful. Sleep well?" He chuckles.

"I did!"

"Really? When I went in there Willow's foot was in your ear and Emerson's butt was in your face."

"Haha! It was an interesting night but, I loved it!"

Isaiah smiled. Emily's heart was so sweet, but when it came to children it was even sweeter. Isaiah couldn't wait to tell her the news.

Finally Danny, Jessica and the twins made their way down.

"There you are! What took so long?" Isaiah asks.

"We were changing your brother and sister. Plus I wanted to give you two some time." Jessica smiles.

"Well I was waiting for You, momma!"

"Oh okay!" She smiles.

"What's going on?" Emily asks.

"Mom?"

"Oh!  Zaya, why don't you tell her?"

"Someone say something, you're scaring me."

"It's nothing to be scared of, baby.  I was talking to my mom last night and.. well she.." Isaiah tears up then turns to his mother.

Jessica chuckles and rubs his back. "My sensitive boy."

"Emily, I love you and I love my son.. when I became his mother I promised to do anything and everything for him.. and now that you two are faced with this.. obstacle.. as a mother I want to help in every way I possibly can."

Emily didn't know where Jessica was going with this.  She was quite confused.

"Emily.. if you feel comfortable with me doing this.. I would like to carry yours and Isaiah's baby.  You know me and you know how much I love my family.  I would make sure your baby is safe inside for nine months.  Deliver him or her safely.. That's my grandchild and I will take care of that child.
.. And of course if you feel uncomfortable with this then-" Jessica was cut off mid sentence.  Emily walked over and hugged her tightly.

Jessica smiled and wrapped her arms around Emily.
Emily let out a sob.  She was shocked, but so happy and so so grateful.

"Jessie.. you don't have to do this.. you really don't-"

"No honey, I want to!  I would be so happy to give you guys your baby."

"Oh my gosh!  You have no idea how incredible of a person you are.  You. Are. Amazing!"

Jessica smiles and wipes her cheeks.

"When can we get this done? When can we get your mom pregnant, Isaiah?!"

"That sounds.. terrible! But as soon as possible! You ready, momma?"

"Yeah!  All mom needs to do it get checked out, make sure everything is okay and good to go!  Start some hormone therapy to get you ovulating and then we can all get to baby making!
..This is so weird but so so exciting!"

Jessica laughs. "I Just started menopause so maybe that's a good thing? I don't know but Oh My Gosh, I'm so excited!  I need to make an appointment!"

September.

After getting checked out Jessica received the most wonderful news. She was healthy, her uterus looked great. She was ready for this long baby making process.

Jessica has now gone through a month of hospital visits and injections.  It's tough but nothing she can't handle.

This morning when Jessica went to the bathroom she jumped up with excitement and ran back to the room to wake Danny.

"I got my period!  I got my period!"

"Huh?" Danny says half asleep.

"I'm bleeding!  I started!"

"Oh that's good, baby." He smiles softly.

"This is great news!  I have to tell the kids!"

Danny chuckles and lays his head back in the pillow.

Danny woke Jessica up in her favorite way.

After Jessica changed into her gown and was covered by the sheet, Isaiah and Emily made their way to the back.

"This is so exciting! This is really happening!" Emily says.

"Hey Lo!" Emily picks her up.

"What mama doin?" Willow points to her mother.

"Mama is waiting for the doctor to come in and put a baby in her tummy!" She smiles.

"What?! Oh no!" Willow grabs her cheeks. She didn't want any babies.

"Not yours, silly!"

"Oh goodness. These next nine months will be interesting." Jessica chuckles.

Soon the doctor walks in.

"Okay, who's ready to make a baby?" He asks.

"We are!" Jessica, Isaiah and Emily say with excitement.

"Alright! Jessica, will you please put your legs in the stirrups?"

"It's happening!" Isaiah smiles.

Jessica chuckles.

The doctor gets to work and Emerson didn't like it one bit.

"Hey! Don't poke her there! Dat my mommy!"

"Oh Lord.. Emerson, it's okay, honey!" Jessica laughs.

"No! Swrangers no touch no no spots!"

"He's very smart!" The doctor chuckles.

"Yes he is! Baby, he's a doctor. It's okay."

"Me no like him!" Emerson crosses his arms and pouts.

"Alright enough." Danny chuckles and bounces him up and down on his leg.

As the doctor gets ready for implantation Emily and Danny sit the twins down.

Danny moves closer and everyone's eyes stay glued to the ultrasound screen.

"What dat?" Willow asks.

"That's inside of mommy's tummy." Isaiah answers.

"But hers tummy in wight there!" Willow points to Jessica's stomach.

Danny explains the whole ultrasound thing to Willow then the room goes silent.

"Are you okay?  Does it hurt?"

"No.  It's just a little uncomfortable."

Danny kisses the top of her head then turns to the screen.  The doctor releases the embryo and everyone smiles.

"Ah!  Look at that!" Jessica laughs.

Emily covers her mouth and begins to cry.

"We could have just made a baby, Zaya!"

Isaiah smiles and tries his best to hold back his tears.
He doesn't say a word.  Instead her hugs her and gives her a kiss.

He then kisses his mother's cheek.

"I love you, mom."

"I love you more, baby."

"There a baby in you tummy now, mommy?" Emerson asks.

"Let's hope so!" Jessica smiles.

Two weeks later.

While out grocery shopping Jessica decided to grab a test.

When she returned she was going to start on dinner.

"Hi baby!"

"Hey hun!  I'm going to start on dinner, let me just run to the restroom first!" Jessica says practically throwing the bags on the counter and running to the bathroom.

"The baby's making you have to pee already?" Danny chuckles.

"HAH!  No, I think it was the first six that wrecked my bladder."

Jessica locked the door and quickly took the test out of her jacket.

"Okay.. okay, let's do this!" She whispers to herself.

Jessica sat on the toilet and placed the test between her legs.

After taking the test she placed it on the counter and washed her hands.

Jessica watched the test with her hands clasped and under her chin.  She slowly swayed from side to side.  She was so nervous.

"Please, please, please." Jessica whispered.

Jessica waited and waited, but still only the one line appeared.

She then began to cry.  Was it a bad test?  Or was all this work for nothing?  It never entered Jessica's mind that this would fail.

*Knock, Knock*

Jessica gasps and quickly turns to the door.

"Jessica?
.. Jess?"

Jessica swallows, then speaks in a very low voice, ".. Yeah?"

"Are you okay?"

"Uh.."

"Jessica?"

Jessica walks to the door and opens it.

"What's wrong?  Why are you upset?"

Jessica holds the test up with tears slowly running down her cheeks.

"What is it?"

"It's negative.  I'm not pregnant, it didn't work!" A sob escapes her lips.

"Honey, honey, calm down.  It could be a bad test." Danny says wrapping his arms around her.

"We have an appointment tomorrow, we'll know for sure then."

"I just feel so terrible, Danny.  They were counting on me and I failed them!"

"No baby, you didn't.  Jessica relax, everything's okay.."

The next morning at their appointment, Jessica was very quiet,while Isaiah and Emily were super excited.

When the doctor came in, the look on his face said it all.

"Is everything okay?" Emily asked.

"I'm so sorry I have to tell you this.. but Jessica, you are not pregnant."

Jessica begins to cry.  What made it worse is that both Isaiah and Emily were upset.  Of course they had every right to be.  They wanted this so badly.

"Kids, I am so so sorry!" Jessica cries.

"No!  No don't be sorry!" Emily says taking Jessica's hand in hers.

"Momma, it's okay!  Just the fact that you were willing to do this for us.. that's so amazing.  We love you so much."

"I love you both." Jessica then turned to the doctor.

"I want to do it again."

"What?" Isaiah asks.

"Let's do it again.  Having a baby sometimes takes a couple tries.  I have the money, and I want to do this.  How soon can we try again?"

The doctor than goes on to tell her when they would be able to try again.

"Okay.. then we'll do this all over again.  I'm having this baby for you two..... I promise." Jessica says in a shaky voice.
