Shintaro POV

I'm frozen. I don't know what to do. I couldn't save any of them. In my shock, she walks up to me and snatches the phone out of my hands. Ene is calling to me. "MASTER!! MASTER!!" The phone is slowly being cracked, and for the first time ever, I see tears from eyes I never knew could cry. Before I have time to acknowledge it, The phone is shattered into pieces of glass and plastic. 

Momo cries out, clutching Mary in her arms. She truns on her, lifting her gun again. Before she shoots, I slide in front of  her, taking a bullet myself. It was going to happen anyway, so why not? I just want to feel like I help some, stalled for at least a little while.

Momo POV

I can't move, I'm paralyzed. My brother, he...

Saved me?

I dont realize I'm sobbing, but I am. Mary is too. She has been since Kano...

Seeing him fall, it was too much.

I yell words that I didn't know existed at the girl. I can't hear what I'm saying, the ringing in my ears is too loud. But I hear something, I hear what she says to me. "Since I can do whatever I want now, I guess I'll kill you, slowly. Or not. Those words of yours are quite hurtful, you know."

'Whatever I want now'? What does she mean by that?

She lowers her gun to me, shooting me multiple times, like she did to Kido. On every bang, I feel another new level of pain. But as long as I'm proctecting Mary, or someone, I'll be fine. 

A twisted grin pains her face as I fall. "This is fun!"
