Kido POV

"Let's go, Danchou~!" Momo's tugging my sleeve. I roll my eyes at her. We're going to the amusement park, like we do every summer. I'm lagging behind. Those rides are really scary... 

I eye a suspicious-looking guy, sitting on a bench a ways away from us. He's looking up at a tall building, at least fifty stories high. I look where he looks, and I see a little black dot standing there. Then he turns his head my way. My eyes widen. I concealed us all, how can he see us?! He blinks twice, then smiles and waves at us. "Nice day isn't it?" 

I hear Konoha make a sound behind me, and I turn. He's paler than usual. "We have to get out of here." he whispers, pulling everyone behind him. The guy lifts his hands to us, as if he were asking for a hug. "Konoha! Long time no see! Has it been going good with your friends?" 

"Leave here." is all Konoha says.

"Hey, but first, I want to show you something~!" He glances up at the building once more, and that black dot is plummeting down the building. It's female.

I look at the guy. "Hey, she's falling off that building! We have to save her!" 

He looks at the girl wistfully, his eyes tracking her decent. "No, no, she'll be fine. She is my apprentice, after all." Suddenly, the girl was right beside him, scowling. "Who are you calling apprentice?!" Her ponytail swished around by her feet, like a snake.

"I never called you an apprentice." the guy said smirking.

"Liar," she said, her breath hissing out through her teeth. Her eyes flicked to us. Seeing her face, we all gasped.

"Miss me?" 

"Y-you--?" I remember it all now. The visions she showed us.

"I guess it's time for a show~!"
