Sliding Home
I woke up finally still on the floor but I felt like I was tipping slightly. I tried to stand up and grab onto the railing that lead back up the stairs. I got to the outside of the ship and saw that there wasn't much time left until the Titanic sunk. The back of the ship was tipping upwards slightly and the front had pretty much sunk into the sea. "Doctor?" I cried. Nothing. I had to get to the TARDIS and I could just about see one of the sides. It was close but it would take some effort to get to.
I tried walking to the TARDIS but ended up nearly losing my balance and falling forward. It was getting steeper. I had no other choice. I sat down and gradually let myself slide down. It worked and I grabbed onto the side of the TARDIS. I stood up and walked in. "That hurt." I moaned. The Doctor was standing there looking miserable. "Finally! Where have you been?" The Doctor asked. The TARDIS was sloped a bit and I had to be careful not to slip. "Can we just go? I don't want to be here when the Titanic sinks." And we left. The Doctor looked rather disappointed despite the amazing day we had together.
I changed into the clothes I had originally changed into, put my bloody pyjamas into a bag and went back to the console room. "Where are you going?" The Doctor asked a bit confused.
"You said one trip." I answered now a bit confused myself.
"Well, seeing as our one trip went a bit wrong, how about one more?" I felt quite amazed and joyful inside but I stayed calm. "Sure, why not?"
"How about New Earth? After the Sun destroys the earth humans spread across the stars and find this amazing planet. It is truely brilliant. Their Christmas is extraordinary!"
"Sounds awesome." New Earth it was. At least I got a taster of what I would have to experience one day.
