I sighed once again, sitting on a near bench as i set my bag beside me. I took my phone out and smiled to see a text from my friends.

Tetsuya: Hello n/n-chan, how's your day?

Shuzo: yeah! We miss you and your cooking too, come back and let me hug you boo!

Y/n: hey guys! Im doing great here and i miss you guys too. (ू˃̣̣̣̣̣̣︿˂̣̣̣̣̣̣ ू) what about you guys?

Tetsuya: im fine here, though kagami-kun is a hot head, the team are okay.

Shuzo: fine too. Dad is getting better but yeah.

Y/n: oh guys! I gotta go! Bye bye! U・ᴥ・U

Tetsuya: bye n/n-chan.

Shuzo: bye boo!

I smiles and put my phone beside me.Those guys were my childhood friends and they were the ones that are always theres when my parents arent. Tetsuya is quiet, but deep inside he cares for people. Shuzo is calm too and responsible, but if me or tetsuya gets hurt, he's always there to protect us.

I decided to stay at the place and do my homework. I sat on the ground as my notebook was on the bench, Some music boomed from my phone as i hum along and bop my head.

"You like that song?" I flinched and turn around to see a guy with his hair spiked up and a piece of his hair bleached down. He suddenly gasped when i turn around.

"Beautiful.." He said as i look back to see nothing. "What is?" I asked as he smiled and shook his head. "Nothing... Anyways, arent you suppose to be at home now?" He asked as i smiled back.

"Well, i wanted to stay back a little and do my homework. " I said as he stare at me for a moment. "What year are you in? Could you help me with mine?!" He asked as i rose my eyebrows.

"Uh.. Im a 1st year, but let me see." I said as he smiled and sat down the grass beside me and took out his books. I lift my bag out the bench and set it down the grass. He placed his books on the bench as i scan his notes.

"Hm..your a 2nd year? Oh! Im L/n Y/n by the way..." I gave him a smile to which he quickly smile back. "Im nishinoya yuu!!" He said as i nodded. We both started to do our homeworks until the day almost ended.

"Oh! Its getting late! Lets go L/n-chan!" Nishinoya said as i nodded. We both fix our things as we then took our leave and walk thru the streets.

"Hey L/n-chan! Do you already have a club?! What school did you go last year? What class are you in now?-"

"Woah woah nishinoya-senpai...1 at a time, and sadly, i dont have a club yet, and i went to teiko middle school, im at class 5 now so yeah." I answered him as i could of sworn i saw his eyes have sparkles in them.

"JOIN VOLLEYBALL!" He yelled as i tilt my head.

"Volley..ball?" I asked as he looked at me as if i was an alien. "You dont know volleyball?!" He asked as i shook my head. "Well, I've heard of it but i guess i didnt though of joining." I said as he grinned.

"Then how about i show you volleyball tomorrow?!" He jumped as i smiled at his energy and nodded.

"Sure i guess..." I said as he cheered, jumping up and doing a heel click jump thingy. I laughed and followed his marching figure. You sighed, arriving at your house and smiling at your parents.

"Hey mama, papa." I greeted and gave them a hug. They patted my head and the night was like the usual.

"L/n-chan are you going somewhere?" Yachi asked me as i smiled and nodding. "Yeah, i met a guy and he wanted to check out a club." I said as yachi nodded as we both pack our things.

"Well, i gotta go l/n-chan, see you tomorrow!"

I waved at yachi and slung my bag on my shoulder. I then received a call from one of my friends as i of course answered.

"Yes shuzo??"

{N/n-chan, just wanted to check in since you didnt text us this morning.}

"Sorry shuzo! I didnt open my phone until now because of school."

{Its fine n/n-chan, but tetsuya wanted to do a video call later}

"Oh? Well okay! But i gotta go now, lets chat later shuzo!"

"Bye shuzo! Loveyatoo!"

I ended the phone call and smile to myself. I quietly walked out the classroom and firstly went to a vending machine and bought a snack bar.

I then hear some screams and squeaking in a gym as i think that was the volleyball team? I let the snack bar hang from my mouth as i push the doors open.

"L/N-CHAN?!" i hear two people yell as i turn to see nishinoya poorly receiving a ball s it dashed towards me.

"L/N-CHAN WATCH OUT!!" i hear a familiar voice as i put my right arm infront of me and quickly caught the ball with my right hand, a loud smack was heard as the ball collided with my palms. The gym was silent as i slowly let go of the ball.

"W-WOAH!" an orange haired male exclaimed as people quickly crowd around me. "Are you okay?! We are terribly sorry!" A silver haired guy said.

"Sorry l/n-chan!" Nishinoya and tanaka bowed as i took the snack bar out of my mouth. "Its fine senpais...its not a problem." I said as the 2 males sighed in relief.

"You both know her?" A guy with a bun and slight beard asked as the 2 happily nodded.

"SHE HELPED ME WITH MY HOMEWORK!"

"I HELPED HER GET TO HER CLASS!"

Both of them exclaimed as i awkwardly laugh, scratching my head. "Y-yeah...Ano..sorry for interrupting your practice. Im L/n Y/n and i came to check out volleyball.." I said and gave them a closed eye smile. As i open my eyes, i see them with slight pink cheeks.

"C-cute..." I hear them say as i tilt my head.

"Cute? What is?" I asked and look around, i then spottef a pretty girl with glasses and i thought she was the cute one they were talking about.

"Ano, im sawamura daichi, their captain." A guy walked up to me and pull his hand out for a handshake. I took it as we both shook our hands. Eventually, i met everyone and they are quite nice and energetic.

"So, lets get back to practice? You can watch with shimizu by the side." Sawamura said as i nodded. I stood next to shimizu as examine their gameplay.

"You seem curious about volleyball, havent you play it or you have played other sport?" Shimizu asked me as i turn to her. I look at the volleyball players before speaking up. "I havent. I was a manager of the basketball club, though, i kinda dont want to talk about it yet." I said as she smiled and nodded.

"I understand...then perhaps, will you become a manager?" She asked me as i purse my lips before shrugging. "Im not sure yet."

"Then, take your time, feel free to join us."

I smiled at shimizu and nodded. Suddenly, i see kageyama toss to hinata as the orange haired boy slam it down with great speed. I widen my eyes as my jaw dropped.

W-woah...

I thought as i didnt even notice them looking at me. Shimizu giggled and push my jaw back up. I quickly snap out of my trance as my eyes glimmer.

"What does that call?" I asked as Ennoshita smiled at me. "A quick attack." He said as i loudly breath out. "That was so cool!!" I jumped as they smiled at me. They quickly return in playing as i turn to shimizu.

"Hey shimizu-senpai?"

"Hm?"

"I want to join."

She stare at me before she smiled. "Are you sure L/n-san?"

I nodded before turning my eyes on the courr as my eyes followed the ball. "Im sure shimizu-senpai..."

"I want to join."
