Chapter 6: Decision

Percy's POV

I stared at Thalia, then at Annabeth who had a look of equal horror on her face, then at Thalia again and back at Annabeth. "What?" I spluttered.

Thalia rolled her eyes and muttered something about boys. "She's sick, I don't know why. Chiron's going everything he can to help her."

"Are you sure it's not normal mortal sickness or something?" I asked.

"I'm sure normal mortal sicknesses causes your face to turn green and your eyes rolled back to your head before collapsing on the ground and shuddering like you have a fit," Thalia said sarcastically.

"Well yeah, ever heard of motion sickness?"

"Oh my gods, Percy! She was standing, talking to me, not sitting in a car! And motion sickness does not do that to you."

"I-" I was about to start when suddenly the air rippled and Chiron's face appeared. Ron gave a yelp and backed away so fast that he tripped and fell onto the ground. The rest just stared, at a loss for words although Hermione helped Ron up. Thinking back, guess I should've explained about IM-ing, although I was too worried at that time.

"Chiron! How's Rachel?" Annabeth asked, concerned.

"Hello Annabeth. Rachel's better. She just needs to rest but she has something to say to all of you before you go find all those wizards." Chiron told us before giving a start of surprise. "But I see it does not matter as you have already found them. Very well, good job but Rachel would still like to speak to all of you privately."

"Well!" Molly said brightly."Who wants a snack?" She smiled cheerily as she shooed everybody back to the house, giving us a wink. We shot her a grateful smile and turned back to Chiron, who was standing next to Rachel.

"Hey guys," Rachel greeted us wearily. "Listen, before I collapsed, this voice spoke in my head. It told me this. 'Do not continue with this quest of you shall suffer my wrath. Your camp will be destroyed and one of your friends might just destroy all of you. Heed my warning." It kept repeating in my head in this cold voice until I felt like my mind was about to explode." Rachel rubbed her head, looking shaked up.

"It'll be alright," Annabeth told her with a gentle smile although her eyes still reflected worry. "Get some rest, we'll contact you soon." She waved goodbye and swept her hand through the air, cutting off the connection.

We trudged back to the Burrow in silence and the sight of them drinking hot chocolate greeted us. We continued our conversation and were even more determined to learn more about them.

                                                           ****************************

The days passed quickly and so did the summer. Harry returned to his "home" at Privet Drive while we all moved to Sirius' house. We met the members of the Order and got along pretty well although Mad-Eye Moody scared Tyson and Grover. We demigods practiced everyday while they watched and occasionally learned moves themselves. As you can imagine, we were pretty bummed when we heard that they had to return to their school soon, some place called Hogwarts. Tyson started to bawl; he had go quite close to the twins, making stuff explode and building stuff out of scraps. At that moment, Hermione got her great idea.

"Why don't you guys come to school with us?" She asked excitedly.

"What?" I stared at him.

"That's brilliant!" Ron exclaimed. "You could totally learn about us there! That's your mission isn't it?"

"Well yeah, but is it such a good idea?" Annabeth asked doubtfully, looking at me. Clarisse, to my surprise agreed with her. But she put it in a different way.

"School? Ugh, why would we want to go to a school? We're not even wizards, if you haven't noticed," She said in disgust, gripping her spear tightly.

"That's true," Nice agreed.

"I'm sure Dumbledore will make an exception," Ron waved a hand. "C'mon mate, it'll be fun!"

I sat down on the ground, putting Riptide on the ground next to me and lying down, staring up at the ceiling. All of them followed my example with Annabeth on my other side. I took her hand in my own and stayed in that position, thinking over their offer.

Going to that school will mean putting the students there in danger as monsters had been attacking us every wekk. On the other hand, they could perform magic to defend them, based on the number of times Molly had saved us. The rest couldn't do much since they weren't allowed to use magic. We could also learn more about them, fulfilling part of our quest and maybe help defeat this Voldimert .. Vol .. Vul .. Voldemont dude. Apparently, he's after Harry and wants to destroy him, plus ruling the world. Reminds me of my good old friend, Kronos.

"I think we should go," I mumbled.

"What?" Annabeth asked, lifting her head up and looking at me.

"I think we should go to Hogwarts," I said louder, causing Tyson to look at me in delight and Clarisse to stare at me in horror.

"What?" She spat out at me.

"I think it'll seriously help us out here," I sat up and looked over at Clarisse who was scowling at me.

"That's awesome!" Ron shot up excitedly. "If you can get into Gryffindor, we could teach you how to play Quidditch and totally trash bloody Malfoy!"

"Who's Malfoy and what in Tarturus in Quidditch?" Clarisse's eyes lighted up at the sound of a fight.

"He's an annoying, arrogant, stuck up little-" Ron started as Hermione gave a loud cough and look pointedly at Ron as Ginny, Fred and George joined us

"I think he's okay," Ginny said.

Fred, who had been drinking a glass of pumpkin jiuce, immediately spat it out and stared at his sister. "Bloody hell, Ginny! What's wrong with you? It's Malfoy we're talking about here."

GInny shrugged as Ron looked over at her skeptically. Obviously no lost love between him and this Malfoy kid.

"So when will we meet him?" Clarisse asked with a gleam in her eyes.

"Believe me, you would be better off without meeting him but we're heading off to Diagon Alley tomorrow so maybe you'll see him there. Diagon Alley is the place to be, to buy all the stuff you need for school and stuff or just basic everyday needs," Fred explained all in one breath.

"We're planning on starting a shop there. Selling jokes and prank stuff of course," George continued on with a grin and slapped his twin's hand.

"That's cool. It's creepy how alike you guys and the Stoll brothers are," Nico observed.

The twins grinned again and I nodded, thinking along the same lines. Judging from the expressions on my friends' faces, they were thinking the same thing.

"So it's decided then, you guys will go to Hogwarts," Ginny jumped up with joy.

"Oh, fun." Clarisse rolled her eyes.

"I'll check whether mum has already recieved a reply from Dumbledore," Ron got up. "We already planned this before telling you guys about this," He winked, seeing our dumbfounded expressions. Accompanied by Hermione, they went off to the direction of the Burrow.

"So, what do we do now?" Grover asked, chewing on a tin.

"Well, we're off to play Quidditch. Later, mates." Fred gave us a wink and stood up.

"Why don't they come with us? That way we can teach them how to play Quidditch, get new members on our team and win the Quidditch Cup this year!" George's face lighted up.

We immediately agreed to it and spent the next two hours learning the rules and practising. If you called it practicing by zooming around a room with barely enough space. I had to admit, it was awesome! To my amusement, Annabeth wasn't really good at it was really disgruntled. Her battle tactics are amazing but she coulnd't stay on the broomstick long enough to test it out. Unfortunately she caught me laughing when she fell of her broom (for the 10th time) and whacked me on my hand, leaving a red mark.

"Ouch! What was that for?" I protested while rubbing my arm.

"You deserved it for laughing at me," She glared at me then stomped away.

"You better go after her, dude." smirked Nico as he came up to me.

I glowered at him and the twins who were laughing at me before chasing after Annabeth. We smoothened things out and she forgave me, much to my relief. As we walked back to our room hand in hand, Molly was waiting for us, waving an envelope in her hand.

"Professor Dumbledore has replied the letter I sent him," She called out, catching our attention. I quickly ripped open the letter as she passed it over to us.

Dear Molly,

It would be a pleasure to welcome Percy and his fellow friends to Hogwarts. They may join in in the lessons and learn and we will also provide them with the necessary space to practice. As for the second matter, you might be right but I cannot predict the future and we shall have to wait that one out and see for ourselves.

                                                                                                                                 Yours sincerely                                                                                                                                  Albus Dumbledore

"Alright!" I pumped my fist in the air. We could really learn alot about them at that place. I just hope I wouldn't get expelled that quickly like I did with all my other schools. Then again, Hogwarts isn't a normal school. They probably have some kind of scene happening every day. Either way, we would be going and I was pretty excited. So was Annabeth, judging by the look on her face. She was ecstatic. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.

A/N: Just changed Knockturn Alley to Diagon Alley. Sorry about that mistake, I got confused between the two :3

Edit: Minor changes. As it was already written in the book, I decided to go for the straightforward way, using Percy's POV without retelling everything from the book :)
