I was riding a horse. The gentle breeze was blowing on me. I have never had such an experience before. It was a very different and beautiful sensation. The night was calming, a big moon has appeared in the black sky which was lightening the dark forest.

It was almost dark and we were passing the forest of Ithaka, our enemy kingdom. My stomach began to groaned. We have been going for 3 hours at a stretch so I am tired and hungry now. I need some rest.

I halted the horse and got out of it and motioned Taryn, Bruce to stop.

They stopped and got down from their respective horse and knelt before me, by bending their one leg.

"Your majesty, do you need anything?"They said with respect. I have never like that much formality. I always wanted to live normal with ordinary people but due to my kingdom and rules, regulations, I couldn't be.

" you can be regular with me and we are not in our kingdom. So don't be so traditional. " I said with a smile.

Both of them were looking at me shockingly which made me clear my throat. I know they can never expect a prince to tell their worker to behave naturally with him.

"Umm...why are you staring at me like that. I am hungry, so....so give me something to eat. I am dying in
starve " I whined by rubbing my tummy to show them how much hungry I am now.

"Okay....okay." Taryn stuttered.

"But prince zayn, In this deep night, there is fear of foxes in this forest. It is not safe for us to be here" Bruce warned me but I don't care about the wolf. Right now I am hungry and that's what I am overlooking now.

"Oh don't be scared of them. Let's sit under that tree," I said, pointing to the large tree, ran towards that with my horse. They followed me after that.

I tied my horse to the tree and they did the same thing.

"Ugh. My back is aching in this ride. It's so peaceful to sit here" I sighed, unwrapped the clothes from my face, now my beautiful and tiresome face is visible. I closed my eyes by leaning against the tree.

"Prince zayn, take it," Taryn said by giving me the food. I opened my eyes and hummed when the delicious smell comes to my nose.

"Thanks a lot, Taryn. And you don't need to address me as a prince. We are the same aren't we?" I said as I took the plate from her hand and began to eat. Ugh, I could feel how much hungry I was.

"You are so lucky that you have such a kind and helpful prince. " Bruce suddenly said to Taryn.

Bruce is from Edremit and Taryn is from in my kingdom Aegina. Liam insisted me to take Bruce too for extra protection.

"Why you are saying that? Is my Liam not a good prince?" I said sarcastically. It is an irrefutable truth that Liam is an idol prince.

"Yes, obviously he is but you are more," Bruce said with a smile. He is like my father's age but he is more build and masculine. And one more thing he is unmarried. Taryn is also his age. She is not young nor old. 

"Don't worry, after marriage
I will stay there with you. I have talked to Liam about this. And Liam wants me to stay in their kingdom after marriage. And I have no objection to it" I said as I took a handful of rice to my mouth, started chewing it.

"Wow, seriously, it will be a pleasure for us. I can't believe it, you will be with us. Thanks a lot, prin...

" no only zayn." I interrupted him.

"Zayn" he completed with a smile.

"I can't wait for your marriage. Our bond will be more strong and it will be a huge achievement for both of the kingdoms. I can't wait for it. There will be only peace everywhere. How much fun we will have. I will be very happy in your marriage." Bruce exclaimed and I nodded with a smile. I also can't wait for the marriage. Then I and Liam will officially be together.

"This is not fair. We will not let you take our prince. He is our." Taryn whined and pouted.

"You silly woman. You are also coming" Bruce snickered and winked at Taryn, which made her blush.

"Oi oi, what is this? Is there anything going between you two? Huh?" I teased playfully with a slight movement on Bruce's arm.

"Nothing like that" Taryn replied with a blush.

"Awww. What you two guys are hiding? Tell me" I whined with a pout

"Actually, We love each other. And we have decided to do marry after your and prince Liam's wedding" Bruce said with a blush.

"Shut up" Taryn retorted, her face was red because of blushing.

"Oh my God. Why I didn't notice it before?" I exclaimed with shock. I could never imagine that they were in a relationship. It's not like that I am unhappy with it. I am happy with it.

"Are you mad at us?" Taryn said by looking down.

"No of course not. I am too much happy. Congratulations." I said with a smile.

"Thank you" Taryn replied with a smile.

"By the way, Zayn, Prince Liam loves you so much, please never break his heart," Bruce said to me with emotional eyes.

"Of course not. I love him the way he does" I proudly said and Bruce ruffled my hair.

I smiled back at them and I was about to take a bite of rice but something horrendous sound came. So many horrible barking, whimpering, growling, and howling sounds were coming towards us. It was a combination of sounds, bark-howl or growl-bark, I don't know.

"What is this?" I whispered as scaredness were rushing on me. We stood up from where we were.

"Zayn, you go and climb up to the tree. We are here." Bruce told loudly.

"No no, I can't leave you like that" I retorted and most important thing is that I don't know how to climb on a tree.

Suddenly three wolves appeared on us, and I gasped loudly. It was horrible. It looks like we are their prey and they can attack us at any time.

"What should...we do" I stuttered. I was scared like hell.

"We have no more option," Bruce said, point Taryn something and I couldn't budge, he lifted me and tossed me on his shoulder.

"What are you doing? Please no. I can't leave you guys like this" I screamed as I was struggling to free from his grip, but he is so strong. I saw Taryn started running in another direction and these wolves started to chase her.

"No no Taryn" I screamed but she already disappeared in the dark.

He put me in the large stem and I hugged the stem tightly. Yes, I am afraid of height.

"I am sorry prince zayn," Bruce said before jumped from the stem.

"No" I screamed but he didn't look back. I know they care about me that's why they did it. But still, I was mad at them. How can they do leave me here and didn't let me fight with those wolves?

Anxiety was rising on me. What if they got attacked by those wolves? What if they got some kind of fatal injury? I should listen to Bruce when he warned me. No, I can't be able to see them in danger. It would be a shame for a prince who is sitting idle here, by putting your people in danger

I looked down and my head started spinning. I couldn't control my balance and fall to my bum from the tree. I got a sharp pain in my bum and started to rub it. I felt stung on my arm, I touched there, hissed in pain and saw blood started to form, I got bruised on my arm.

I stood up from the ground and looked here and there to find them. I ran in their direction and searching them but I couldn't find them.

I sighed and pouted, I don't think I will be able to find them. I huffed and looked back, started walking to the place where I was before. I was walking for 20 minutes but I didn't reach that place. And I couldn't find that tree. Oh God, that means I get lost.

I huffed in annoyance, I didn't expect to get lost. I started to run to find some safe place, but every time some big rock is blocking my way. I got scared. This forest is full of wild animals, the roaring sound was the evidence of it.

I got tired, so I stopped walking and sat under a big tree, closed my eyes. Tears started to form in my eyes. Where are Bruce and Taryn? Are they okay? Or they got eaten by those fierce wolves?

I put out a locket from my pocket, it is the symbol of our kingdom Aegina. I stared at it for a moment, then put it again with a sigh.

I closed my eyes and started to rub the ring of my finger which was given by Liam. He gave it to me on my engagement. I am missing him so much right now.

I heard a sound and I flinched. I know what type of sound is that. It is the sound of some wild wolves. I looked around but I couldn't find anything.

I heard that sound again and I cringed. This time the voice got nearer.

I looked back and gasped when I saw a wolf behind me. I stood up and backing slowly. Ops I almost forgot about my sword. I yanked the sword from my back and hold it in front of me, in order of defence.

The wolf jumped on me and I scoot from their quicky, but unfortunately, the sword falls from my hand.

I was moving backwards slowly but abruptly I stumbled on a rock and fall to the ground. The wolf started to approach me, making me gulp. I was praying for a miracle. I don't want to die by being eaten by a wolf.

"Help" without thinking twice, I screamed when the wolf jumped at me. I closed my eyes and covered my face with my hand. I know I am going to be eaten by this wolf now.

But shockingly, I didn't. I opened my eyes slowly and looked up.....
